This study proposes a method of interactive plant simulation modeling which delivers the online simulated results to the field operators and induces them to take proper actions in the case of pre-identified accident scenarios in a chemical plant. The developed model integrates the real-time process dynamic simulation with 3DCFD accident simulation in a designed interface using object linking and embedding technology so that it can convey to trainees the online information of the accident which is not available in existing operator training *** model encompasses the whole process of data transfer till the end of the training at which a trainee operates an emergency shutdown system in a programmed model. In this work, an overall scenario is simulated which is from an abnormal increase in the main valve discharge（second）pressure due to valve malfunction to accidental gas release through the crack of a pressure recorder, and the magnitude of the accident with respect to the lead time of each trainee＇s emergency response is analyzed. The model can improve the effectiveness of the operator training system through interactively linking the trainee actions with the simulation model resulting in different accident scenarios with respect to each trainee＇s competence when facing an accident.

This study demonstrates that the initial texture of Mg alloy significantly affects the microstructure developed during cold rolling and the recrystallization behavior during subsequent annealing. In a sample with a texture oriented toward the normal direction(ND sample), thick and large-sized shear bands are intensively formed during cold rolling and the deformation is strongly localized along these bands. In contrast,in a sample with a texture oriented toward the transverse direction(TD sample), many {10-12} twins are formed at the early stage of cold rolling, and then, numerous small-sized shear bands are formed in these twins. Results of nanoindentation tests reveal that the cold-rolled ND sample has internal strain energy that is substantially concentrated along the shear bands, whereas the cold-rolled TD sample has a large amount of internal strain energy that is homogeneously distributed throughout the material;this latter behavior is strongly related to the extensive {10-12} twinning and the resultant microstructural variations in the TD sample. During subsequent annealing, recrystallization occurs locally along the shear bands in the ND sample, which leads to the formation of a bimodal grain structure comprising fine recrystallized grains and coarse unrecrystallized grains. In contrast, during subsequent annealing of the TD sample, static recrystallization occurs homogeneously throughout the material, which results in the formation of a uniform grain structure that mostly comprises equiaxed recrystallized grains.

Study of Air Quality Objectives(AQOs)and long-term changes of air pollution plays a decisive role in formulating and refining pollution control *** this study,10-year variations of six major air pollutants were analyzed at seven monitoring sites in Hong Kong *** continuous decrease of annual averaged concentrations of NO_(2),SO_(2),CO,PM_(2.5)and PM_(10)and numbers of days with severe pollution conditions validated the efficiency of the series of air pollution control schemes implemented by the Hong Kong region ***,there is still a big gap to meet the ultimate targets described by the World Health ***,the concentration of O_(3)at roadside and urban stations increased by 135%±25%and 37%±18%from 2011 to 2020,respectively,meanwhile the highest 8 hr averaged O_(3)concentration was observed as 294μg/m^(3)at background station in 2020,which pointed out the increasing ozone pollution in Hong Kong *** was a great decrease in the annual times of air quality health index(AQHI)laying in“high”,“very high”and“serious”categories from 2011 to 2020 with the decrease rate of 89.70%,91.30%and 89.74%at roadside stations,and 79.03%,95.98%and 72.73%at urban stations,***,the number of days categorized as“high”or above at roadside station was twice more than that in the urban station during the past ten ***,more policies and attentions should be given to the roadside air quality and its adverse health effect to pedestrians on street.

In this study,we report on a patient who suffered from injury of the superior longitudinal fasciculus following ventriculoperitoneal（VP）shunt operation,which was demonstrated with diffusion tensor tractography（DTT）.An 82-year-old female patient was diagnosed as suffering from normal pressure hydrocephalus（NPH）and underwent VP shunt operation approached through the right posterior parietal area in the brain 3 years ago （Figure 1A）.

Although there is a high demand for absorption-dominant electromagnetic interference(EMI) shielding materials for 5G millimeter-wave(mmWave) frequencies, most current shielding materials are based on reflection-dominant conductive materials. While there are few absorption-dominant shielding materials proposed with magnetic materials, their working frequencies are usually limited to under 30 GHz. In this study, a novel multi-band absorption-dominant EMI shielding film with M-type strontium ferrites and a conductive grid is proposed. This film shows ultralow EMI reflection of less than 5% in multiple mmWave frequency bands with sub-millimeter thicknesses, while shielding more than 99.9% of EMI. The ultralow reflection frequency bands are controllable by tuning the ferromagnetic resonance frequency of M-type strontium ferrites and composite layer geometries. Two examples of shielding films with ultralow reflection frequencies, one for 39 and 52 GHz 5G telecommunication bands and the other for 60 and 77 GHz autonomous radar bands, are presented. The remarkably low reflectance and thinness of the proposed films provide an important advancement toward the commercialization of EMI shielding materials for 5G mmWave applications.

The cingulum,connecting the orbitofrontal cortex to the medial temporal lobe,involves in diverse cognition functions including attention,memory,and *** investigate the relationship between the cingulum injury and cognitive impairment in patients with chronic mild traumatic brain injury,we evaluated the integrity between the anterior cingulum and the basal forebrain using diffusion tensor tractography in 73 patients with chronic mild traumatic brain injury(39 males,34 females,age 43.29±11.42 years)and 40 healthy controls(22 males,18 females,age 40.11±16.81 years).The patients were divided into three subgroups based on the integrity between the anterior cingulum and the basal forebrain on diffusion tensor tractography:subgroup A(n=19 patients)– both sides of the anterior cingulum were intact;subgroup B(n=36 patients)– either side of the anterior cingulum was intact;and subgroup C(18 patients)– both sides of the anterior cingulum were *** were significant differences in total Memory Assessment Scale score between subgroups A and B and between subgroups A and *** were no significant differences in diffusion tensor tractography parameters(fractional anisotropy,apparent diffusion coefficient,and fiber volume)between patients and *** findings suggest that the integrity between the anterior cingulum and the basal forebrain,but not diffusion tensor tractography parameter,can be used to predict the cognitive function of patients with chronic mild traumatic brain *** study was approved by Yeungnam University Hospital Institutional Review Board(approval ***-2014-01-425-010)on August 16,2017.

The responses of macrophages to Bacillus anthracis infection are important for the survival of the host,since macrophages are required for the germination of *** spores in lymph nodes,and macrophage death exacerbates anthrax lethal toxin(LeTx)-induced organ *** elucidate the mechanism of macrophage cell death induced by LeTx,we performed a genetic screen to search for genes associated with LeTx-induced macrophage cell ***264.7 cells,a macrophage-like cell line sensitive to LeTx-induced death,were randomly mutated and LeTx-resistant mutant clones were *** deaminase 3(AMPD3),an enzyme that converts AMP to IMP,was identified to be mutated in one of the resistant *** requirement of AMPD3 in LeTxinduced cell death of RAW 264.7 cells was confirmed by the restoration of LeTx sensitivity with ectopic reconstitution of AMPD3 ***3 deficiency does not affect LeTx entering cells and the cleavage of mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase(MKK)by lethal factor inside cells,but does impair an unknown downstream event that is linked to cell *** data provides new information regarding LeTx-induced macrophage death and suggests that there is a key regulatory site downstream of or parallel to MKK cleavage that controls the cell death in LeTx-treated macrophages.
