BACKGROUND Massive pulmonary embolism(PE)results in extremely high mortality ***-arterial extracorporeal membrane oxygenation(VA-ECMO)can provide circulatory and oxygenation support and rescue patients with massive ***,there are relatively few studies of extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation(ECPR)in patients with cardiac arrest(CA)secondary to *** aim of the present study is to investigate the clinical use of ECPR in conjunction with heparin anticoagulation in patients with CA secondary to *** SUMMARY We report the cases of six patients with CA secondary to PE treated with ECPR in the intensive care unit of our hospital between June 2020 and June *** six patients experienced witnessed CA whilst in *** had acute onset of severe respiratory distress,hypoxia,and shock rapidly followed by CA and were immediately given cardiopulmonary resuscitation and adjunctive VA-ECMO *** hospitalization,pulmonary artery computed tomography angiography was performed to confirm the diagnosis of *** anticoagulation management,mechanical ventilation,fluid management,and antibiotic treatment,five patients were successfully weaned from ECMO(83.33%),four patients survived for 30 d after discharge(66.67%),and two patients had good neurological outcomes(33.33%).CONCLUSION For patients with CA secondary to massive PE,ECPR in conjunction with heparin anticoagulation may improve outcomes.

Polymers with reversible plasticity shape memory effect(RPSME)have attracted considerable attention due to their simple programming and large ***,the exact mechanisms of RPSME are still not thoroughly *** this work,the RPSME of SEBS/crystallizable paraffin was investigated by comparatively analyzing the performances and microstructures of samples with different paraffin *** was found the shape fixing ratios(Rfs)of samples increased with the paraffin content,and interestingly,a significant improvement in Rf was observed when the paraffin content exceeded 60 wt%.Tensile test results showed that the deformation characteristics of samples changed from elastic to plastic as the paraffin content increased above 60 wt%.By exploring the crystallization behaviors of paraffin in various SEBS/paraffin samples,it was revealed that the microstructures of SEBS/paraffin were different when the paraffin content was below 50 wt%and above 60 wt%.In samples with low paraffin content(below 50 wt%),nearly all paraffin was co-crystallized with ethylene-co-butylene(EB)chains and its crystallization was severely restricted;while in samples with high paraffin content(above 60 wt%),“excess”paraffin appeared and this part of paraffin crystallized on the template of the EB/paraffin co-crystals,which might be responsible for the elastic-to-plastic transition and the sharp increase in *** on the above results,a possible structural model was proposed to explain the exact mechanism of RPSME in SEBS/paraffin.

The objective of this paper is mainly to investigate the ventilated tail cavity flow of an underwater vehicle with focus on the gas leakage regime by experimental and numerical methods.A high-speed camera and pressure measurement system are used to record the cavity flow patterns and pressure behavior,*** numerical simulation is carried out with volume of fluid(VOF)model and Filter-based turbulence model(FBM).Good agreement can be obtained between the experimental and numerical *** are three gas leakage types in the evolution of the intact tail cavity,i.e.,twin-vortex tube entrainment(TVTE),toroidal vortex shedding(TVS)and hybrid twin-vortex tube entrainment and toroidal vortex shedding(TVTE-TVS).With the increase of Fr,the unsteady behavior of the cavity with different gas leakage types becomes more *** internal flow characteristics revealed three distinct regions including the ventilation influence region,the reverse flow region and the high shear flow region and have an important effect on the transition of gas leakage regime.

Aerial threat assessment is a crucial link in modern air combat, whose result counts a great deal for commanders to make decisions. With the consideration that the existing threat assessment methods have difficulties in dealing with high dimensional time series target data, a threat assessment method based on self-attention mechanism and gated recurrent unit(SAGRU) is proposed. Firstly, a threat feature system including air combat situations and capability features is established. Moreover, a data augmentation process based on fractional Fourier transform(FRFT) is applied to extract more valuable information from time series situation features. Furthermore, aiming to capture key characteristics of battlefield evolution, a bidirectional GRU and SA mechanisms are designed for enhanced ***, after the concatenation of the processed air combat situation and capability features, the target threat level will be predicted by fully connected neural layers and the softmax classifier. Finally, in order to validate this model, an air combat dataset generated by a combat simulation system is introduced for model training and testing. The comparison experiments show the proposed model has structural rationality and can perform threat assessment faster and more accurately than the other existing models based on deep learning.

In this research,the effects of heat treatment together with xylose and cysteine addition on the amino acid changes and volatile compound generation in non-enzymatic pork trimmings extract(NPE)or enzymatic pork trimmings hydrolysate(EPH)were *** hydrolysis significantly increased the total amino acid content and provided necessary precursors for the thermal *** addition of xylose assisted the browning process while the cysteine addition partially inhibited the formation of brown colour in both NPE and *** addition of both cysteine and xylose significantly increased the formation of sulfur-containing volatile flavour compounds in EPH samples,but not in NPE *** characteristic“roasted meat”like aromatic volatile compounds,in particular,2-furfurylthiol,were only detected in EPH samples at 8.13 ng/mL,when both xylose(35 mg/mL)and cysteine(10 mg/mL)were added.

The oxidation behavior of artificial magnetite pellets was investigated through measurements of the oxidation degree and mineralogical analysis. The results show that artificial magnetite pellets are much easier to oxidize than natural magnetite. The oxidation is controlled through two different reaction mechanisms. The oxidation of artificial magnetite is dominated by internal diffusion, with an activation energy of 8.40 kJ/mol, at temperatures less than 800°C, whereas it is controlled by chemical reaction, with a reaction activation energy of 67.79 kJ/mol, at temperatures greater than 800°C. In addition, factors such as the oxygen volume fraction and the pellet diameter strongly influence the oxidation of artificial magnetite: a larger oxygen volume fraction and a smaller pellet diameter result in a much faster oxidation process.
