This paper numerically and analytically investigates a non-linear static,twodimensional thermoelastic analysis in the radial and tangential directions of a cylindrical shell made of functionally graded *** dependence of material properties on temperature makes the heat governing equations *** obtain the temperature field analytically,the heat conduction equation is linearized and exactly solved using a linearizing transformation,then this exact solution is substituted in the Lamme-Navier equations,and the elasticity equations are numerically solved using a second-order central finite difference method,and displacement and stress distributions are ***,the temperature field,stress,and displacement distributions are presented,and the effect of inhomogeneous parameters on them is examined and *** correctness and accuracy of the exact analytical solution of the temperature field are illustrated by a comparison with the numerical *** results show a good agreement.

Nowadays,we can use the multi-task learning approach to train a machine-learning algorithm to learn multiple related tasks instead of training it to solve a single *** this work,we propose an algorithm for estimating textual similarity scores and then use these scores in multiple tasks such as text ranking,essay grading,and question answering *** used several vectorization schemes to represent the Arabic texts in the SemEval2017-task3-subtask-D *** used schemes include lexical-based similarity features,frequency-based features,and pre-trained model-based ***,we used contextual-based embedding models such as Arabic Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers(AraBERT).We used the AraBERT model in two different ***,as a feature extractor in addition to the text vectorization schemes’*** fed those features to various regression models to make a prediction value that represents the relevancy score between Arabic text ***,AraBERT is adopted as a pre-trained model,and its parameters are fine-tuned to estimate the relevancy scores between Arabic textual *** evaluate the research results,we conducted several experiments to compare the use of the AraBERT model in its two *** terms of Mean Absolute Percentage Error(MAPE),the results showminor variance between AraBERT v0.2 as a feature extractor(21.7723)and the fine-tuned AraBERT v2(21.8211).On the other hand,AraBERT v0.2-Large as a feature extractor outperforms the finetuned AraBERT v2 model on the used data set in terms of the coefficient of determination(R2)values(0.014050,−0.032861),respectively.

Iran,located in one of the most earthquake-prone regions of the world,has experienced a very large number of destructive earthquakes that brought about considerable loss of human life and economic *** coun‑try possesses a vast number of monumental and vernacular built heritages that are constantly threatened by earth‑*** vernacular techniques for dwellings comply with the needs,comfort,utility,and functionality of people,it is expected that endemic earthquake-resistant techniques make an essential contribution to Iranian vernacular archi‑*** city of Yazd presents a unique and rich vernacular for earthen construction within Iranian architectural heritage,which has resulted in the recognition of the historic fabric of the city as a World Heritage Site since *** the importance of exploring diferent local seismic cultures worldwide,this paper introduces an essential part of Iranian local seismic culture by recognising and classifying the vernacular earthquake-resistant techniques used in the earthen architecture of the city of *** techniques were collected by surveying the historic fabric,using data available in the literature,and interviewing traditional builders and local ***,the seismic infuence of each technique was evaluated using examples from the performance of adobe constructions during the 2003 Bam earthquake.

In this paper,we propose a framework based deep learning for medical image translation using paired and unpaired training ***,a deep neural network with an encoder-decoder structure is proposed for image-to-image translation using paired training data.A multi-scale context aggregation approach is then used to extract various features from different levels of encoding,which are used during the corresponding network decoding *** this point,we further propose an edge-guided generative adversarial network for image-to-image translation based on unpaired training *** edge constraint loss function is used to improve network performance in tissue *** analyze framework performance,we conducted five different medical image translation *** assessment demonstrates that the proposed deep learning framework brings significant improvement beyond state-of-the-arts.

This work used organic geochemistry and organic petrology to study the depositional environment,organic matter characteristics,and thermal maturity of the Cambrian-Ordovician organic-rich marine shales in the Baltic *** main macerals in Cambrian samples include alginite,bituminite and solid bitumen,while zooclastic macerals become the major proportion of organic matter in the Ordovician *** the maturity increase,solid bitumen becomes abundant and ***-like maceral was observed only in Furongian of well DBH15/73,which probably indicates the local intrusion of Permo-Carboniferous dolerite *** programmed pyrolysis results show that immature,early mature,and over-mature samples are ***,the data of high-uranium Furongian samples were greatly altered by igneous intrusives from local *** calculation model is simulated based on pyrolysis data and fitted according to the least-square fitting *** simulated fitting HIo:400mg HC/g TOC(369.5 mg HC/g TOC,430.5 mg HC/g TOC as 95%confidence bounds)is within the worldwide marine shale HI_(o)and indicates a marine anoxia and transgressive sea with shallow water column(organofacies B).

Investigation of factors affecting rural drinking water consumption using intelligent hybrid models

Identifying the factors affecting drinking water consumption is essential to the rational management of water resources and effective environment protection. In this study, the effects of the factors on rural drinking water demand were studied using the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) and hybrid models, such as the ANFIS-genetic algorithm (GA), ANFIS-particle swarm optimization (PSO), and support vector machine (SVM)-simulated annealing (SA). The rural areas of Hamadan Province in Iran were selected for the case study. Five drinking water consumption factors were selected for the assessment according to the literature, data availability, and the characteristics of the study area (such as precipitation, relative humidity, temperature, the number of subscribers, and water price). The results showed that the standard errors of ANFIS, ANFIS-GA, ANFIS-PSO, and SVM-SA were 0.669, 0.619, 0.705, and 0.578, respectively. Therefore, the hybrid model SVM-SA outperformed other models. The sensitivity analysis showed that of the parameters affecting drinking water consumption, the number of subscribers significantly affected the water consumption rate, while the average temperature was the least significant factor. Water price was a factor that could be easily controlled, but it was always one of the least effective parameters due to the low water fee.

研究添加铜粉和改变耗材转速对AA1050铝合金基体上摩擦堆焊Al-Mg涂层力学和摩擦学性能的影响。铜粉是通过在耗材的横截面上钻孔的方式嵌入的。用光学显微镜和电子显微镜研究涂层的显微组织,用剪切实验研究涂层的力学性能。结果表明,当耗材转速从600 r/min增加到1000 r/min时,铜粉分布更加均匀,铜粉团聚现象减少,涂层的平均晶粒尺寸从(2.0±0.1)μm减小到(0.9±0.2)μm。随着转速的增加,富铜颗粒变小,并形成CuAl_(2)金属间化合物。当耗材转速从600 r/min增加到1000 r/min,使涂层从基体剥离所需的最大力从16.2 kN增加到18.4kN。转速为600、800和1000 r/min制备的涂层其磨损率分别比AA1050基材的低12%、18%和21%。
