Object.ve:t.e current.st.dy aimed t. assess t.e knowledge and at.it.des of nurses t.ward t.e current.COVID-19 pandemic and Omicron *** and Met.ods:A cross-sect.onal online survey was *** 277 Egypt.an nurses complet.d an elect.onic quest.onnaire comprising demographics wit. 5 it.ms,nurses’knowledge on Omicron wit. 18 quest.ons,and nurses’at.it.des on Omicron wit. 5 *** dat. collect.d were expressed using numbers,percent.ges,and mean and st.ndard ***:t.e mean age of nurses was 27±5 years,nearly 50%of t.e nurses were bachelor *** t.t.l score of correct.answers relat.d t. knowledge was 75%,showing t.e different.degrees of knowledge about.*** majorit. of nurses showed posit.ve at.it.des t.ward cont.olling and managing t.e COVID-19 ***:Egypt.an nurses have average knowledge about.Omicron and a posit.ve at.it.de t.ward cont.olling t.e COVID-19 *** should be scope for furt.er assessment.t. enhance underst.nding about.***,healt. educat.on programs should be developed for nursing st.ff t. improve informat.on,beliefs,behaviors,and at.it.des t.wards t.e Omicron variant.in part.cular and t.e COVID-19 pandemic in general.
