In this study, an off grid wind-solar hybrid power generation system was established at Afyon Kocatepe University to meet the energy need of lighting system of three different laboratories. It is planned to efficiently use the energy obtained from the designed hybrid power generation system. For this purpose, PIC 16F877 was used in controlling of lighting load of laboratories. The off-grid wind-solar hybrid power generation system consists of 570 W 24 V mono crystal solar panels, 600 W wind power generation system and accumulator groups. The load control circuit made with PIC 16F877 is designed in a manner that will control the lighting armature groups individually activate and deactivate the armature groups according to intensity of illumination in environment. Besides, separately from generation and storing units constituting the hybrid power generation system, data in kWh are recorded by means of software in 10 seconds intervals. With the obtained power generation and storing data, analyzing of power consumption data when the load control system in active or passive position is made. According to analysis results, with controlling of lighting load and using of energy obtained from off grid wind-solar hybrid power generation system, 20.6% energy saving has been ensured.

After the appearance of the globalization process post of 1980＇s, world has becaming a big village, that had been brought many important outcomes related with cooperatives which are aimed to emit the capital to the base. These conditions have been forced the movement to adopt themselves to this process vitally. As of year 2007, there are 26 several types of cooperatives with 90.086 unit cooperatives which have total number of 8,561.618 partners that are all dependent to Turkish cooperative association as well as Ministry of Industry and Commerce. In this study, the web sites of Turkish agricultural cooperatives were examined in terms of their contents. Also, it is tried to find out the sufficiency level of their electronic marketing activities. Within the context of this study, web sites of 5 agricultural cooperatives are examined in terms of their design.

Soil salinity is one of the most important environmental factors limiting plant growth and productivity in many regions in the world. Salt stress directly affects plant photosynthesis, which is an important physiological process to limit plant growth and crop yield. But the effects of salt stress on the mechanism of the photosynthesis is still not clear. In this experiment, the salt tolerant plant Alhagi pseudalhagi was selected as the experiment material, and the salt sensitive plant Vigna radiata as the control, to explore the effects of salt stress on photosynthetic parameters of A. pseudalhagi. Plants were grown in a greenhouse,cultured with 1/2 Hoagland nutrient solution, treated by 0(control), 50, 100 or 200 s of mmol/L of NaCl solution for 12 d. Then,the chlorophyll contents, gas exchange parameters and chlorophyll a fluorescence in each treatment were measured. The results showed that under the salt stress simulated by 50 mmol/L NaCl, the net photosynthetic rate(Pn) and stomatal conductance(gs)of A. pseudalhagi were significantly increased compared with the control, while intercellular CO_2 concentration(Ci) was significantly decreased, Fv'/Fm', Fv/Fm and Fv/Fo were increased over time, but had no significant differences with the control ФPSⅡ,ETR and qP were significantly increased, and NPQ was significantly decreased. Under the salt stress simulated by 100 and 200mmol/L NaCl, Fv'/Fm', Fv/Fm, Fv/Fo, ФPSⅡ and qP of A. pseudalhagi were gradually decreased over time. In contrary, under the salt stress simulated by 50 and 100 mmol/L NaCl, the Pn, gs, Ci, Fv'/Fm', Fv/Fm, Fv/Fo, ФPSII, qP and ETR were all significantly decreased, while NPQ was significantly increased.

Investigation of photon energy absorption properties for some biomolecules

Background:This study aimed to demonstrate the effectiveness of transcutaneos tibial nerve stimulation(TTNS)in the treatment of bladder pain syndrome(BPS).Materials and methods:The data of 16 female patients,diagnosed with BPS in our clinic between 2019 and 2021 and had TTNS twice a week for 12 weeks,were retrospectively analyzed.Results:The mean age of the patients was 46.00±13.11 years,and the mean body mass index was 26.43±3.07 kg/*** the treatment,the median day time frequency of the patients decreased from 13.37(3.69)to 10.25(4.56)(p＜0.001).Nocturia also decreased after treatment from 4.37(1.81)to 3.00(1.94)(p=0.001).The median voiding volume increased by 26.5 mL(p=0.001).The median of the patients'visual analog scale scores decreased after treatment(median of visual analog scale score changed from interquartile range 8[1]to 7[4])(p=0.001).In addition,the median interquartile range interstitial cystitis symptom index scores decreased from 17(4)to 15(10)(p=0.002).Conclusions:In this study it was demonstrated that TTNS is an alternative method that can be successfully applied before invasive methods in the treatment of BPS.

The mass energy absorption coefficient (len=q), effective atomic number (ZPEAeff ), and electron density (NPEAeff ) of some biomolecules with potential application in radiation dosimetry were calculated for their photon energy absorption (PEA) in the energy region of 1–20 MeV. It was noticed that the values of len=q, ZPEAeff , and NPEAeff vary with the energy and composition of the biomolecules. The results for ZPEAeff were compared with effective atomic numbers (ZPIeff ) owing to the photon interaction (PI). Significant differences were noted between ZPEAeff and ZPIeff in the energy region of 10–150 keV for all of the biomolecules involved. A maximum difference of 45.36% was observed at 50 keV for creatinine hydrochloride. Moreover, the studied attenuation parameters were found to be sharply affected at the K-absorption edge of relatively high-Z elements present in the biomolecules.

Dysfunctional audit behavior （DAB） is an accepted problem, associated with decreased audit quality. This study develops and tests a theoretical model that identifies factors contributing to DAB. Budget emphasis, leadership behavior structure and consideration, and effectiveness of audit review were examined as antecedents of attitudes toward DAB. The findings produced consistent evidence in support of the theoretical model. It is not an emphasis on meeting budgets that leads to undesirable behavior, but contextual variables, such as leadership behavior structure and effectiveness of audit review.

Effect of taxifolin on cold-shock damages in spermatozoa in rabbits

Objective:To investigate the effect of taxifolin added to rabbit semen on freezing-induced cold-shock damages in ***:Semen was collected from six adult New Zealand rabbits once a week by artificial *** collected semen was pooled at 38℃ and divided into four equal *** were diluted with 0,50,100 and 200μM taxifolin-containing Tris+egg yolk extender at 38℃ and their temperatures were lowered to 4℃.Following equilibration,semen drawn into 0.25 mL straws were frozen in an automatic semen freezing device and stored in liquid nitrogen container at-196℃.Samples were thawed in 38℃ water for 25 s and the analyses of motility,kinematic parameters,morphological deformities,changes in membrane integrity,mitochondrial membrane potential,dead-live ratio,acrosomal damages and as well as oxidative stress analyses were performed in ***:Addition of 50μM taxifolin significantly improved motility(total,progressive,rapid and static),high mitochondrial membrane potential and the ratios of spermatozoa with acrosomal damage compared to the control *** to the control group,malondialdehyde(MDA)levels in the 50 and 100μM taxifolin groups were significantly lower,while the MDA level was high and viable spermatozoa ratio was low in the 200μM taxifolin *** were no significant differences between the groups in terms of kinematic parameters,morphological deformities,membrane integrity and antioxidant ***:The low dose of taxifolin(50μM)has a positive effect and the high dose(200μM)has a negative ***,it is concluded that the addition of low-dose(50μM)taxifolin to the extenders would be a useful additive in reducing cold-shock damage that occurs during freezing of rabbit semen.

Carcinosarcoma is an uncommon mixed tumor of the lung. It is composed of a mixture of carcinoma and sarcoma elements. We present a case of 64-year-old male with carcinosarcoma of the lung associated with tuberculosis involvement of the same site. The patient was admitted for cough, malaise and fever. Bronchial lavage culture revealed M. tuberculosis. Six months after completion of tuberculosis treatment, the patient was admitted for hemoptysis and headache. CT revealed a solid lesion at the left upper lobe anterior bronchus. Histopathologic examination of the bronchial biopsy specimen revealed carcinosarcoma. Cranial MRI showed a metastatic lesion in the cerebellum which was removed surgically. Four months later, the patient developed bilateral malignant pleural effusions, recurrent cerebellar and skeletal metastases and died in the intensive care unit following intubation for respiratory failure. We describe a case of pulmonary carcinosarcoma occurring at the same localization shortly after successful treatment of tuberculosis with reference to relevant literature.

A case of sarcoidosis associated with chronic eosinophilic pneumonia

A 78-year-old woman was referred to our university hospital due to dry cough, fever, and weight loss. Laboratory revealed blood eosinophilia, high ESR, CRP and LDH. Rheumatologic markers were negative. Chest X-ray showed ground glass opacities in upper lobes. Uveitis developed in the left eye 1 week after admission. Thorax CT revealed ground glass opacities, reticular appearence in the upper lobes, enlarged axillary and mediastinal lymph nodes. Bronchoalveolar lavage CD4/CD8 was 2.1 and had 48% eosinophils. Histopathologic examination revealed eosinophilic infiltration and non-caseating epitheloid granulomas in the lung and mediastinal lymph nodes without vasculitis. Symptoms, blood eosinophilia and initial thorax CT findings improved after two months of methylprednisolone treatment. Chronic eosinophilic pneumonia is a rare disease characterized by systemic and pulmonary manifestations. It may be associated with other diseases.
