The new ferrous-selective modified ca.bon pa.te electrodes (I a.d II) ba.ed on 5,5’-(propa.e-1,3-diylbis(sulfa.ediyl))bis(3-benzyl-4H-1,2,4-tria.ol-4-a.ine) (electrode I, a.ionophore) a.d 5,5’-(buta.e-1,4-diyl-bis(sulfa.e- diyl))bis(3-benzyl-4H-1,2,4-tria.ol-4-a.ine) (electrode II, B-ionophore) a. ionophores a.e described. These electrodes exhibit Nernstia. slopes of 30.2 ± 0.5 a.d 29.1 ± 0.5 mV·deca.e-1, linea. ra.ge of 1.0 × 10-7 - 1.0 × 10-2 mol·L-1 Fe(II) ion a.d detection limit of 1.0 × 10-7 mol·L-1 Fe(II) ion for electrode (I) a.d electrode (II), respectively. Both electrodes (I a.d II) ha.e a.fa.t response time of a.out 15 sa.d ca. be used for a. lea.t 3 months. The two electrodes revea.ed a.good selectivity for Fe(II) over a.wide va.iety of other meta. ions a.d could be used in the pH ra.ge of 1.8 - 3.0 without a.y divergence in potentia.. The proposed sensors were successfully a.plied for the determina.ion of Fe(II) ion in different rea. sa.ples.

The exploita.ion of different pla.t ma.eria.s for the biosynthesis of na.opa.ticles is considered a.green technology beca.se it does not involve a.y ha.mful chemica.s. In this study, iron oxide na.opa.ticles（Fe3O4-NPs） were synthesized using a.completely green biosynthetic method by reduction of ferric chloride solution using brown sea.eed wa.er extra.ts. The two sea.eeds Pa.ina.pa.onica.Linna.us） Thivy a.d Sa.ga.sum a.ina.ium（Linna.us） Setchell 1933 were used in this study. The a.ga. extra.t wa. used a. a.reducta.t of Fe Cl3 resulting in the phytosynthesis of Fe3O4-NPs. The phytogenic Fe3O4-NPs were cha.a.terized by surfa.e pla.mon ba.d observed close to 402 nm a.d 415 nm; the obta.ned Fe3O4-NPs a.e in the pa.ticle sizes ra.ged from 10 to 19.5 nm a.d 21.6 to 27.4 nm for P. pa.onica.a.d S. a.ina.ium, respectively. The strong signa.s of iron were reported in their corresponding EDX spectra. FTIR a.a.yses revea.ed tha. sulpha.ed polysa.cha.ides a.e the ma.n biomolecules in the a.ga. extra.ts tha. do dua. function of reducing the Fe Cl3 a.d sta.ilizing the phytogenic Fe3O4-NPs. The biosynthesized Fe3O4-NPs were entra.ped in ca.cium a.gina.es bea.s a.d used in Pb a.sorption experiments. The biosynthesized Fe3O4-NPs a.gina.e bea.s via.P. pa.onica.Linna.us） Thivy ha. high ca.a.ity for bioremova. of Pb（91%） while tha. of S. a.ina.ium（Linna.us） Setchell 1933 ha. a.ca.a.ity of（78%） a.ter 75 *** va.ues of the process pa.a.eters for the ma.imum Pb remova. efficiency by Fe3O4-NPs a.gina.e bea.s synthesized via.P. pa.onica.Linna.us） Thivy were a.so estima.ed.

With the better understa.ding of molecula. mccha.islns undcrlying ca.cinogenesis a.d cellula. events during ca.cer progression a.d meta.ta.is, it is now possible to use ta.geted thera.y for these molecula. events. Ta.geted thera.y is a.le to identify ca.cer pa.ients with dissimila. genetic defects a. cellula. level for the sa.e ca.cer type a.d consequently requires individua.ized a.proa.h for trea.ment. Ca.cer thera.y begins to shill stea.ily from the tra. ditiona. a.proa.h of ＂one regimen for a.l pa.ients＂ to a.more individua.ized a.proa.h, through which ea.h pa.ient will be trea.ed specifica.ly a.cording to their specific genetic defects.
