AIM: To investigate the morbidity of functional bowel disorders (FBD) under military stress conditions in order to lay foundations for the prevention and treatment of this disease. METHODS: Four hundred and fifty-seven soldiers who were assigned to specified services and 471 soldiers who were assigned to routine services were enrolled using cluster sampling, with the latter as a control group. They were surveyed using the Rome Ⅲ FBD standard questionnaire. The FBD symptom question-naire included FBD-related symptoms, severity, dura- tion or attack time, and accompanying symptoms. RESULTS: The morbidity of the military stress group (14.6%) was significantly higher than in the control group (9.98%) ( 2 = 4.585, P < 0.05). The incidence of smoking, abdominal pain and acid regurgitation ( 2 = 4.761, P < 0.05) as well as the ZUNG anxiety/depression scores ( 2 = 7.982, P < 0.01) were also sig- nificantly higher in the military stress group compared with the control group. ZUNG anxiety ( 2 = 11.523, P < 0.01) and depression ( 2 = 5.149, P < 0.05) scores were higher in the FBD group compared with the non-FBD group. The differences in the ZUNG self-rated anxiety and depression scales between the 2 groups were statistically significant ( 2 = 14.482, P < 0.01 and 2 = 6.176, P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: The morbidity of FBD was higher under military stress conditions.

Constructing type II heterostructures represents a widely recognized strategy for enhancing charge separation and photocatalytic efficiency,but it remains challenging to fabricate homologous heterostructures based on visible-light-responsive semiconductors,especially for popularly investigated （oxy）nitrides with low thermal ***,we synthesized a homologous heterostructure （denoted as YTON＿H） based on the oxynitrides of YTaO4-xNyand YTa *** heterostructure exhibits type II band structure alignment and intimate interface achieved through a magnesium （Mg） powder-assisted nitridation *** with widely reported heterologous heterostructures,the as-obtained YTON＿H homologous heterostructure could similarly exhibit enhanced charge separation as well as photocatalytic water splitting performance with respect to its counterparts(YTaO4-xNyand YTaON2).Meanwhile,detailed structural characterizations and spectroscopy analysis have been made to confirm the formation of heterostructure and promotion of spatial charge separation.

Patarin proposed the dragon scheme, pointed out the insecurity of the dragon algorithm with one hidden monomial and suggested a candidate dragon signature algorithm with a complicated function. This paper presents an algebraic method to attack the candidate dragon signature algorithm. The attack borrows the basic idea of the attack due to Kipnis and Shamir, and utilizes the underlying algebraic structure of the candidate dragon signature algorithm over the extension field to derive a way to enable the variable Y be viewed as a fixed value. The attack recovers the private keys efficiently when the parameters are n≤2s and D=[logq^d]≤3.

Shale gas gathering systems are of great importance in gas fields for the efficient and reliable transportation of *** traditional design methods,pipeline layouts are optimized only from an economic point of view,where reliability is evaluated after ***,reliability can be enhanced by spare pipelines so that both economic and reliable aspects are evaluated *** on the idea of enhancing reliability,this research proposes a methodology for optimizing the pipeline layout problem including well clustering,stations site selecting,and *** topology arrangements and spare pipelines are investigated to enhance the production efficiency and reliability of the pipeline network under earthquake-related *** evaluation is converted into an economic one so that the objective of this work is to minimize the total annual *** solve such a complex problem,genetic algorithm,K-means algorithm,Geo Steiner algorithm,Kruskal algorithm,linear programming and Monte Carlo simulations are combined.A real-world case study illustrates the effectiveness of the proposed methodology and shows a 36.53%reduction in the total annual cost compared with the initial scheme.

A series of c arbosilane dendrimers with acetyl end-group were synthesized. Their structures were characterized by 1H NMR, IR, and MS, respectively. Then dendrimers were coordinated with lanthanide ions （Eu3＋ and Tb3＋, respectively）. The luminescence spectra of the complexes show narrow-width emissions in visible light region. 2009 Sheng yu feng. BACKGROUND Primary melanomas affecting the central nervous system are very rare,and melanomas originating in the spinal canal or origin of the spinal nerve root are even *** a consequence,not much is known about *** SUMMARY Here we report a case of primary malignant melanoma originating in the cervical spinal cord nerve root.A 64-year-old woman presented with symptoms of numbness in the right side of the neck,pain,and hypoesthesia in the right upper limb which persisted for 1 *** examination showed that the superficial sensation in the right upper limb had decreased with muscle strength of grade *** resonance imaging examination revealed a mass(approximately 2.5 cm×1.4 cm×1 cm)in the right side of the spinal canal in the C-2 *** on findings obtained during operation,perioperative examination,pathological diagnosis,and the diagnostic criteria of primary central melanoma proposed by Hayward,the mass was confirmed to be a melanoma of intraspinal nerve root *** This is the first case of primary malignant melanoma originating from cervical spinal cord nerve roots and spread along the inside and outside of the spinal *** clinical relevance of this case is discussed to provide new insights into the differential diagnosis of intraspinal *** studies are needed to better understand the mechanisms driving the growth pattern and development of this type of tumour.

On the Downshift of Wave Frequency for Bragg Resonance

For surface gravity waves propagating over a horizontal bottom that consists of a patch of sinusoidal ripples,strong wave reflection occurs under the Bragg resonance *** critical wave frequency,at which the peak reflection coefficient is obtained,has been observed in both physical experiments and direct numerical simulations to be downshifted from the well-known theoretical *** has long been speculated that the downshift may be attributed to higher-order rippled bottom and free-surface boundary effects,but the intrinsic mechanism remains *** a regular perturbation analysis,we derive the theoretical solution of frequency downshift due to third-order nonlinear effects of both bottom and free-surface *** is found that the bottom nonlinearity plays the dominant role in frequency downshift while the free-surface nonlinearity actually causes frequency *** frequency downshift/upshift has a quadratic dependence in the bottom/free-surface *** bottom leads to a larger frequency downshift relative to the monochromatic *** addition,direct numerical simulations based on the high-order spectral method are conducted to validate the present *** theoretical solution of frequency downshift compares well with the numerical simulations and available experimental data.
