Background:Mufangji tang(MFJT)is composed of Ramulus Cinnamomi,Radix Ginseng,Cocculus orbiculatus(Linn.)DC.,and *** clinical settings,MFJT has been effectively employed in addressing a range of respiratory disorders,notably including pulmonary arterial hypertension(PAH).However,the mechanism of action of MFJT on PAH remains ***:In this study,a monocrotaline-induced PAH rat model was established and treated with *** therapeutic effects of MFJT on PAH rat model were *** pharmacology was conducted to screen the possible targets for MFJT on PAH,and the molecular docking between the main active components and the core targets was carried *** key targets identified from network pharmacology were ***:Results showed significant therapeutic effects of MFJT on PAH rat *** of network pharmacology revealed several potential targets related to apoptosis,inflammation,oxidative stress,and vascular *** docking showed that the key components were well docked with the core *** experimental validation results that MFJT treatment induced apoptosis(downregulated Bcl-2 levels and upregulated Bax levels in lung tissue),inhibited inflammatory response and oxdative stress(decreased the levels of IL-1β,TNF-α,inducible NOS,and malondialdehyde,and increased the levels of endothelial nitric oxide synthase,nitric oxide,glutathione and superoxide dismutase),reduced the proliferation of pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells(downregulated ET-1 andβ-catenin levels and ERK1/2 phosphorylation,increased GSK3βlevels).Conclusion:Our study revealed MFJT treatment could alleviate PAH in rats via induction of apoptosis,inhibition of inflammation and oxidative stress,and the prevention of vascular remodeling.

Query Acceleration of Graph Databases by ID Caching Technology

In this paper, we approach the design of ID caching technology(IDCT) for graph databases, with the purpose of accelerating the queries on graph database data and avoiding redundant graph database query operations which will consume great computer resources. Traditional graph database caching technology(GDCT)needs a large memory to store data and has the problems of serious data consistency and low cache utilization. To address these issues, in the paper we propose a new technology which focuses on ID allocation mechanism and high-speed queries of ID on graph databases. Specifically, ID of the query result is cached in memory and data consistency is achieved through the real-time synchronization and cache memory adaptation. In addition, we set up complex queries and simple queries to satisfy all query requirements and design a mechanism of cache replacement based on query action time, query times, and memory capacity, thus improving the performance *** experiments show the superiority of our techniques compared with the traditional query approach of graph databases.

Improvement Design for Distributed Real-Time Stream Processing Systems

In the era of Big Data, typical architecture of distributed real-time stream processing systems is the combination of Flume, Kafka, and Storm. As a kind of distributed message system, Kafka has the characteristics of horizontal scalability and high throughput, which is manly deployed in many areas in order to address the problem of speed mismatch between message producers and consumers. When using Kafka, we need to quickly receive data sent by producers. In addition, we need to send data to consumers quickly. Therefore, the performance of Kafka is of critical importance to the performance of the whole stream processing system. In this paper, we propose the improved design of real-time stream processing systems, and focus on improving the Kafka's data loading *** use Kafka cat to transfer data from the source to Kafka topic directly, which can reduce the network transmission. We also utilize the memory file system to accelerate the process of data loading, which can address the bottleneck and performance problems caused by disk I/O. Extensive experiments are conducted to evaluate the performance, which show the superiority of our improved design.

Probing the interaction between asphaltene-wax and its effects on the crystallization behavior of waxes in heavy oil via molecular dynamics simulation

High content of asphaltenes and waxes leads to the high pour point and the poor flowability of heavy oil,which is adverse to its efficient development and its transportation in *** the interaction mechanism between asphaltene-wax is crucial to solve these problems,but it is still *** this paper,molecular dynamics simulation was used to investigate the interaction between asphaltenewax and its effects on the crystallization behavior of waxes in heavy *** show that molecules in pure wax are arranged in a paralleled *** wax molecules in heavy oil,which are close to the surface of asphaltene aggregates,are bent and arranged *** the mass fraction of asphaltenes in asphaltene-wax system(ωasp) is 0-25 wt%,the attraction among wax molecules decreases and the bend degree of wax molecules increases with the increase of ω*** ωaspincreases from 0 to 25 wt%,and the attraction between asphaltene-wax is stronger than that among *** causes that the wax precipitation point changes from 353 to 333 *** the ωaspincreases to 50 wt%,wax molecules are more dispersed owing to the steric hindrance of asphaltene aggregates,and the interaction among wax molecules transforms from attraction to *** causes that the ordered crystal structure of waxes can't be formed at normal ***,the asphaltene,with the higher molecular weight or the more hetero atoms,has more obvious inhibition to the formation of wax ***,resins also have an obvious inhibition on the wax crystal due to the formation of asphalteneresin aggregates with a larger *** results reveal the interaction mechanism between asphaltene-wax,and provide useful guidelines for the development of heavy oil.

Flexible Planar Micro-supercapacitors Based on Carbon Nanotubes

The boom in ultrathin electronic devices and the growing need for humanization greatly facilitated the development of wearable fexible *** the technology to deposit electrode material on fexible substrate is still in its ***,the fexible symmetric micro-supercapacitors made of carbon nanotubes(CNTs)on commercial printing paper as electrode materials were fabricated by combining tetrahedral preparator auxiliary coating method and laser-cutting interdigital configuration technique on a large *** electrochemical performance of the obtained micro-supercapacitors can be controlled and tuned by simple choosing different models of tetrahedral preparatory to obtain CNTs film of different *** expected,the micro-supercapacitor based on CNTs film can deliver an areal capacitance up to 4.56 m F/cm^(2) at current of 0.02 m *** if,micro-supercapacitor undergoes continuous 10000 cycles,the performance of device can still remain nearly 100%.The as-demonstrated tetrahedral preparator auxiliary coating method and laser-cutting interdigital configuration technique provide new perspective for preparing microelectronics in an economical *** paper electrode appended by CNTs achieves steerable areal capacitance,showing broad application prospect in fabricating asymmetric micro-supercapacitor with fexible planar configurations in the future.

Experimental Study on Vortex-Induced Vibration of Rough Risers Coupling with Interference Effect in Tandem Arrangement

In order to study the response law of vortex-induced vibration(VIV)of marine risers under the combined action of roughness and interference effects,and to reveal the coupling mechanism of roughness and interference effects on the riser,a VIV experiment of rough risers in tandem arrangement was conducted in a wave−current combined *** experiment characterized the risers’roughness by arranging different specifications of attachments on the surface of the *** rough risers with different roughness and smooth risers were arranged in tandem arrangement,with the rough risers arranged *** experimental results indicate that the suppression of the attachments on the downstream risers’vibration are more significant both in the CF and IL directions as the reduced velocity *** the downstream riser,the amplitude response of rough riser is more significantly weakened compared with the smooth one at high reduced *** the upstream risers,changes in the roughness and spacing ratio have an impact on their‘lock-in’*** the roughness of downstream risers is relatively large(0.1300)and the spacing between risers is small(S/D=4.0),the reduced velocity range of‘lock-in’region in the CF direction of upstream risers is obviously expanded,and the displacement in the‘lock-in’region is severer.

A vortex-induced vibration(VIV)experiment of rough risers with coupling interference effect under a side-by-side arrangement was carried out in a wave-current combined *** roughness of the riser was characterized by arranging different specifications of surface attachments on the surface of the *** risers with three different roughnesses were arranged side by side with smooth risers to explore the VIV response of the riser under the combined action of roughness and interference effect,and to reveal the coupling mechanism between roughness and interference *** experimental results show that,compared with that of a smooth riser,the VIV of a rough riser under the coupling interference effect has a wider"lock-in"region,and the displacement decreases more significantly at a high reduced velocity,which is more likely to excite higher-order modes and frequency *** addition,the displacement response and frequency response of the smooth riser are not significantly affected by wake interference from the rough riser,which is caused by the decrease of the wake region due to the delay of the boundary layer separation point of the rough riser.

Automated regression test method for scientific computing libraries:Illustration with SPHinXsys

Scientific computing libraries,whether in-house or open-source,have witnessed enormous progress in both engineering and scientific ***,it is important to ensure that modifications to the source code,prompted by bug fixing or new feature development,do not compromise the accuracy and functionality that have been already validated and *** paper introduces a method for establishing and implementing an automatic regression test environment,using the open-source multi-physics library SPHinXsys as an illustrative ***,a reference database for each benchmark test is generated from observed data across multiple *** comprehensive database encapsulates the maximum variation range of metrics for different strategies,including the time-averaged,ensemble-averaged,and dynamic time warping *** accounts for uncertainties arising from parallel computing,particle relaxation,physical instabilities,and ***,new results obtained after source code modifications undergo testing based on a curve-similarity comparison against the reference *** the source code is updated,the regression test is automatically executed for all test cases,providing a comprehensive assessment of the validity of the current *** regression test environment has been successfully implemented in all dynamic test cases within SPHinXsys,including fluid dynamics,solid mechanics,fluid-structure interaction,thermal and mass diffusion,reaction-diffusion,and their multi-physics couplings,and demonstrates robust capabilities in testing different *** is noted that while the current test environment is built and implemented for a particular scientific computing library,its underlying principles are generic and can be easily adapted for use with other libraries,achieving equal effectiveness.

Finite-time tracking control of heterogeneous multi-AUV systems with partial measurements and intermittent communication

The development of a distributed trajectory-tracking control strategy that is independent of velocity measurements is critical to achieving finite-time tracking control of autonomous underwater vehicle(AUV) systems. In this study, a group of heterogeneous AUV systems with intermittent communication links is considered and a finite-time trajectory-tracking control strategy is developed. The strategy includes two observers and one controller proposed for each follower-AUV. The first observer, a hybrid finite-time observer,estimates the state of the leader, whereas the second observer, which relies only on the position measurement,is proposed to estimate the states of the follower-AUV itself. In addition, a distributed trajectory-tracking controller is designed using the states estimated by the intermittent communication network even without velocity measurements. A homogeneous technique is utilized to prove that all followers can track the leader in a finite time. Finally, the effectiveness of the developed finite-time tracking control strategy is illustrated by numerical simulations.
