Inetetamab combined with tegafur as second-line treatment for human epidermal growth factor receptor-2-positive gastric cancer: A case report

BACKGROUND Human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER-2)plays a vital role in tumor cell proliferation and ***,the prognosis of HER2-positive gastric cancer is ***,a novel anti-HER2 targeting drug independently developed in China,exhibits more potent antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity than trastuzumab,which is administered as the first-line treatment for HER2-positive gastric cancer in combination with *** this case,the efficacy and safety of inetetamab combined with tegafur was investigated as a second-line treatment for HER2-positive gastric *** SUMMARY A 52-year-old male patient with HER2-positive gastric cancer presented with abdominal distension,poor appetite,and fatigue two years after receiving six cycles of oxaliplatin combined with tegafur as first-line treatment after surgery,followed by tegafur monotherapy for six *** patient was diagnosed with postoperative recurrence of gastric *** received 17 cycles of a combination of inetetamab,an innovative domestically developed anti-HER2 monoclonal antibody,and tegafur chemotherapy as the second-line treatment(inetetamab 200 mg on day 1,every 3 wk combined with tegafur twice daily on days 1–14,every 3 wk).Evaluation of the efficacy of the second-line treatment revealed that the patient achieved a stable condition and progression-free survival of 17 *** tolerated the treatment well without exhibiting any grade 3-4 adverse *** Inetetamab combined with chemotherapy for the treatment of metastatic HER2-positive gastric cancer demonstrates significant survival benefits and acceptable safety.

Isolation and Characterization of NBS-LRR Class Resistance Homologous Gene from Wheat

One resistance gene analog fragment named RGA-CIN14 was isolated from TcLr19 wheat,which contains kinase-2,kinase-3a,and the GLPL motif of the NBS-spanning region,using degenerated primers according to the nucleotide binding site （NBS） conserved *** on the RGA-CIN14,a full-length cDNA,CIN14,which was 2 987 bp encoding 880 amino acids,was obtained by using the method of the rapid amplification cDNA ends （RACE）.Bioinformatics analysis showed that the deduced amino acids of CIN14 protein consisted of a NB-ARC conserved domain and many leucine-rich repeats （LRR） *** phylogenetic tree analysis indicated a considerable identity of the protein encoded by CIN14 with that of wheat leaf rust resistance gene Lr1,but a lower similarity with *** expression profile of the CIN14 gene detected by semi-quantitative RT-PCR showed that the CIN14 gene was not induced by Puccinia triticina and it was a constitutive gene with low abundance in the wheat leaf *** resistance homology sequence was successfully obtained,which provides the shortcut for cloning of the resistance gene in TcLr19 wheat.

Nanometer Stripe Microstructure of Supersaturated Solid Solution in Fe-Cu Alloy

Strengthening due to precipitation of Cu in the a-Fe matrix is an important phenomenon utilized in the design of HSLA steels. In the present work, the microstructure of supersaturated solid solution in Fe-1.18%Cu binary alloy was investigated by means of high resolution electron microscopy. The results indicated that the solid solution was heterogeneous, there were lots of Cu atom clusters, which consisted of diffractive stripe microstructure similar to twin crystal. Orientation deviation was observed between two （110）o planes in diffractive stripes, which results in light and shade contrast. Furthermore, formation mechanisms of the nanometre stripe microstructure were discussed in terms of the interaction of Cu and Fe atoms in the Fe-Cu binary alloys.

Characterization of a Novel Plantain Asr Gene,MpAsr,that is Regulated in Response to Infection of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense and Abiotic Stresses

Asr （abscisic acid, stress, ripening induced） genes are typically upregulated by a wide range of factors, including drought, cold, salt, abscisic acid （ABA） and injury; in addition to plant responses to developmental and environmental signals. We isolated an Asr gene, MpAsr, from a suppression subtractive hybridization （SSH） cDNA library of cold induced plantain （Musa paradisiaca） leaves. MpAsr expression was upregulated in Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. cubense infected plantain leaves, peels and roots, suggesting that MpAsr plays a role in plantain pathogen response. In addition, a 581-bp putative promoter region of MpAsr was isolated via genome walking and cis-elements involved in abioUc stress and pathogen-related responses were detected in this same region. Furthermore, the MpAsr promoter demonstrated positive activity and inducibility in tobacco under F. oxysporum f. sp. cubense infection and ABA, cold, dehydration and high salt concentration treatments. Interestingly, transgenic Arabidopsis plants overexpressing MpAsr exhibited higher drought tolerance, but showed no significant decreased sensitivity to F. oxysporum f. sp. cubense. These results suggest that MpAsr might be involved in plant responses to both abiotic stress and pathogen attack.

Source,migration,distribution,toxicological effects and remediation technologies of arsenic in groundwater in China

Groundwater with high arsenic(As) content seriously threatens human life and health. Drinking high-As groundwater for a long time will lead to various pathological changes such as skin cancer, liver cancer,and kidney cancer. High-As groundwater has become one of the most serious environmental geological problems in China and even internationally. This paper aims to systematically summarize the sources,migration, distribution, toxicological effects, and treatment techniques of As in natural groundwater in China based on a large number of literature surveys. High-As groundwater in China is mainly distributed in the inland basins in arid and semi-arid environments and the alluvial and lacustrine aquifers in river deltas in humid environments, which are in neutral to weakly alkaline and strongly reducing *** content of As in groundwater varies widely, and As(Ⅲ) is the main form. The main mechanism of the formation of high-As groundwater in China is the reduced dissolution of Fe and Mn oxides under the action of organic matter and primary microorganisms, alkaline environment, intense evaporation and concentration, long-term water-rock interaction, and slow groundwater velocity, which promote the continuous migration and enrichment of As in groundwater. There are obvious differences in the toxicity of different forms of As. The toxic of As(Ⅲ) is far more than As(V), which is considered to be more toxic than methyl arsenate(MMA) and dimethyl arsenate(DMA). Inorganic As entering the body is metabolized through a combination of methylation(detoxification) and reduction(activation) and catalyzed by a series of methyltransferases and reductases. At present, remediation methods for high-As groundwater mainly include ion exchange technology, membrane filtration technology, biological treatment technology, nanocomposite adsorption technology, electrochemical technology, and so on. The genetic environmental transformation mechanism of coal and oil shale deposits in eastern China’s continental fault basins and the developmental characteristics of the area’s symbiotic assemblages——taking Huangxian Basin as an example

Coal and oil shale are two common sedimentary energy sources which are often symbiotically developed in M esozoic- Cenozoic continental fault basins. However, the mechanisms and characteristics of the symbiotic development are not yet clearly known. In this research study, the typical continental fault basins of eastern China were chosen as examples for the purpose of conducting an examination of the coal and oil shale symbiotic assemblage types, genetic environmental differences, and transformation mechanisms, as well as the development and occurrence characteristics o f different assemblage types. Through a large number of investigations, systematic experimental testing, and sequence stratigraphy studies, the following conclusions were obtained:(1) There were five types of coal and oil shale symbiotic assemblages observed in the continental fault basins,(2) The development of coal and oil shale deposits requires a warm and humid climate, stable structure, abundant organic matter supply, a certain water depth, and a lower terrestrial source debris supply. The observed differences were that the water depth conditions were diversified in the study area, as well as the sources, types, and content of the organic matter.(3) The rapid transformations of the coal and oil shale genetic environments were mainly controlled by the tectonic settings and climatic conditions, which were determined to control the changes in the water depths, salinity,redox conditions, and lake productivity of the genetic environments. Also, in the symbiotic assemblages, genetic environment changes had induced the development of oil shale deposits, which gradually evolved into coal genetic environments.(4) In the isochronous sequence stratigraphic framework of the coal and oil shale symbiotic assemblages, the lake expansion system tracts (EST) were determined to be the most beneficial to the growth o f all the types of assemblages and were characterized by more assemblage development phases and sm

Crystal data for complex 1 [Cd（μ1,3-SCN^-）2（L1）]n： monoclinic system, space group P21/n with a = 6.8342（11）, b = 14.349（2）, c = 10.5443（16）°A,β = 98.534（2）°, V = 1022.5（3）°A^3 Z = 4, C6H4CdN4O2S2, Mr = 340.65, Dc = 2.213 g/cm^3, F（000） = 656 and u = 2.527 mm^-1; and those for 2： triclinic system, space group P/ with a = 7.877（3）, b = 8.693（3）, c = 8.754（3） °A, α= 102.297（6）,β= 102.464（6）, γ= 98.480（6）°, V= 560.0（3） °A^3, Z = 2, CTH6CdN4O2S2, Mr = 354.68, Dc = 2.103 g/cm^3, F（000） = 344 and μ= 2.311 mm^-1. 1 shows a three-dimensional network structure, and along the c direction a one-dimensional chain is constructed by the coordination of Cd（Ⅱ） ions with μ1,3-SCN^- ligands, and the L1 bridging ligands made the chains connect each other leading to the formation of a three-dimensional structure. For 2, the one-dimensional chains along the b axis are generated by the coordination of L2 bridging ligands with Cd（Ⅱ） ions, and the chains are further joined by μ1,3-SCN^- bridging ligands forming a two-dimensional sheet structure on the （10 -1 ） plane. Both complexes 1 and 2 exhibit strong fluorescence emission.

Determination of resveratrol in red wine by solid phase extraction-flow injection chemiluminescence method

A sensitive flow injection chemiluminescence method has been developed for the detection of resveratrol in red wine based on the fact that resveratrol can greatly enhance chemiluminescence reaction between KMnO4 and HCHO in sulfuric acid medium. Analytes were pre-concentrated on solid sorbents （C18 solid-phase extraction cartridges）. Under the optimum conditions, the proposed method allows the measurement of resveratrol over the range of 1.32 × 10^-8 to 1.32 × 10^-5 mol/L with a detection limit of 3.30 ×10^-9 mol/L, and the relative standard deviation for 1.32 ×10^-5 mol/L resveratrol （n = 11） is 3.8%. This method has been successfully applied for the determination of the resveratrol in red wine. Furthermore, the possible reaction mechanism was also discussed.
