Four isolates of Bacillus subtilis coded,B4,B7,B8 and B10 were examined as biocontrol agents for their abilities and antagonistic effect on the in vitro growth of certain phytopathogenic fungi of peanut,Rhizoctonia solani and Sclerotium *** subtilis isolate B4(GenBank accession ***150884)was the highly effective one for inhibiting the fungal mycelial *** fermentation of *** isolate B4 was carried out and the maximum biomass achieved was 4.53 g L-1 at 11 *** subtilis isolate B4 was formulated and evaluated as a biofungicide to reduce peanut soil-borne diseases under greenhouse and field conditions at the side of Rizolex-T(fungicide)as *** by formulated plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria(PGPR)*** B4 and Rizolex-T in a soil infested with ***,*** and mixture of them were more effective in decreasing percentage of damping-off,root and pod rot disease incidence(%)in greenhouse and open field environment during the two seasons 2015 and *** by PGPR gave highly dry weight and number of healthy pods compared to control of fungi treatment which was nearby to dry weights of healthy pods achieved by treatments by Rizolex-T in a soil infested with ***,*** and mixture of *** PGPR *** B4 gave higher increasing of yield percentage than treatment by Rizolex-T in the two evaluated seasons 2015 and *** can conclude that the produced bioforumlated agent was more efficient as fungicide when compared with the other chemical synthesized fungicides,safe for human and the environment and economy.

Unveiling the intrinsic properties of single NiZnFeO_x entity for promoting electrocatalytic oxygen evolution

Although considerable research efforts have been devoted to the design and development of non-noble electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OeR), substantial enhancement of OeR performance with commercial-scale water electrolysis remains a big challenge. This could result from the difficulties in detecting the intrinsic properties and overlooking the assembly process for electrochemical OeR process. Here, we employ a microjet collision method to investigate the intrinsic OeR activities of individual NiZnFeO_x entities with and without a moderate magnetic field. Our results demonstrate that single NiZnFeO_x nanoparticles(NPs) show the excellent OeR performance with a lowest onset potential(~1.35 V vs. RHe) and a greatest magnetic enhancement(~118%) among bulk materials, single agglomerations and NPs. Furthermore, we explore the utility of theoretical investigation by density functional theory(DFT)calculations for studying OeR process on NiZnFeO_x surfaces without and with spin alignment, indicating monodispersed NiZnFeO_xNPs with totally spin alignment facilitates the OeR process under the external magnetic field. It is found that the well-dispersion of NiZnFeO_x NPs would increase the electrical conductivity and the surface spin state, resulting in promoting their OeR activities. This work provides a test for uncovering the essential roles of NPs assembly to a significant promotion of their magnet-assisted OeR.

Tungsten ion source under double-pulse laser ablation system

New tungsten ion source is produced by using single and double-pulse laser ablation system. Combined collinear Nd：YAG laser beams（266＋1064 nm） are optimized to focus on the sample in air. Optimization of the experimental parameters is achieved to enhance the signal-to-noise ratio of the emission spectra. The velocity distribution of the emitted plasma cloud is carefully measured. The influences of the potential difference between the bias electrodes, laser wavelength and intensity on the current signal are also studied. The results show that the increase in the tungsten ion velocity under the double-pulse lasers causes the output current signal to increase by about three folds. The electron density and temperature are calculated by using the Stark-broadened line profile of tungsten line and Boltzmann plot method of the upper energy levels, respectively. The signal intensity dependence of the tungsten ion angular distribution is also analyzed. The results indicate that the double-pulse laser ablation configuration is more potent technique for producing more metal ion source deposition, thin film formation, and activated plasma-facing component material.

Coverless Image Steganography Based on Jigsaw Puzzle Image Generation

Current image steganography methods are working by assigning an image as a cover file then embed the payload within it by modifying its pixels,creating the stego ***,the left traces that are caused by these modifications will make steganalysis algorithms easily detect the hidden payload.A coverless data hiding concept is proposed to solve this *** does not mean that cover is not required,or the payload can be transmitted without a ***,the payload is embedded by cover generation or a secret message mapping between the cover file and the *** this paper,a new coverless image steganography method has been proposed based on the jigsaw puzzle image generation driven by a secret ***,the image is divided into equal rows then further divided into equal columns,creating blocks(i.e.,sub-images).Then,according to secret message bits and a proposed mapping function,each block will have tabs/blanks to get the shape of a puzzle piece creating a fully shaped jigsaw puzzle *** that,the generated jigsaw puzzle image is sent to the *** results and analysis show a good performance in the hiding capacity,security,and robustness compared with existing coverless image steganography methods.

Steganography has been used to prevent unauthorized access to private information during *** is the scheme of securing sensitive information by concealing it within carriers such as digital images,videos,audio,or *** steganography methods are working by assigning a cover le then embed the payload within it by making some modications,creating the ***,the left traces that are caused by these modications will make steganalysis algorithms easily detect the hidden *** to solve this issue,a novel,highly robust steganography method based on hacking anti-shoplifting systems has proposed to hide data within *** anti-Shoplifting system is an anti-theft security system that protects goods and products,leaving the store in an illegal way(i.e.,without paying for them).The proposed method works by modifying the default anti-shoplifting system by changing its built-in soft RFID(radio-frequency identication)tags sewn in clothes into NFC(Near Field Communication)*** NFC tags are smart tags that can communicate with NFC-enabled smart-phones using NDeF(NFC Data exchange Format).NDeF is one of the advancements added to RFID technology by NFC,which allows the data *** NDeF message has one/more NDeF records that contain record type,a unique ID,a length,and a payload of data that contains the secret message content that can be any type of data that ts in a byte *** on NDeF and NFC-enabled smart-phones,the proposed method will take the secret message from the sender,make use of his NFC-enabled smart-phone to communicate with the NFC tag,then hide the secret message within the NDeF’s payload of the NFC tag stuck in ***,to evaluate the proposed method,it has been compared with default(digital)steganography weak *** as time,lockable,robustness,attacks,capacity,and a few more *** results and comparisons showed that the proposed method is more efcient than default(digital)steganography and

Predictors and effects of Persistent Hypertension after Successful Treatment of Coarctation of the Aorta

Background:Coarctation of the aorta is a congenital heart disease that sometimes remains clinically silent until adulthood,usually presenting with arterial *** is well known that after coarctation treatment,many patients remain hypertensive despite successful *** this study we approached the predictors and effects of residual hypertension after successful coarctation ***:It was a cross sectional observational study involving 50 patients who underwent Coarctation repair/angioplasty in Ain Shams university *** divided the patients into two groups(hypertensive and normotensive)and we studied their demographic data(e.g.,age,gender,age at first repair,follow up period,etc.)to conclude the possible predictors of persistent hypertension in such *** also performed full echocardiographic assessment including 3D speckle tracking echocardiography to detect subtle changes in left ventricular systolic ***:Hypertensive patients had significantly higher BMI(29.1 kg/m^(2))as compared to normotensives(24 kg/m^(2)),pervention was significantly higher in hypertensive *** patients had significantly lower 3D left ventricular strain measures(Global area strain,global circumferential strain and global longitudinal strain).The incidence of bicuspid aortic valve was significantly higher in the hypertensive group,yet it was not an independent predictor of persistent ***:The predictors for residual hypertension post successful CoA repair were late intervention and higher *** aortic valve was more common in the hypertensive *** the effects of such disease domain,treated CoA patients with persistent hypertension tended to have higher LV mass index and lower values of LV deformation.

The Need for Cardiac Pacing after Isolated Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery

Background: The aim of this study is to assess the necessity of temporary cardiac pacing and identify the predictors of pacing after coronary artery bypass graft (CABG). Methods: This was a retrospective observational study of 150 patients who had isolated CABG between November 2013 and December 2021. Patients were classified into two groups: group A, (n = 135) who did not need to be paced and group B, (n = 15) who needed temporary epicardial pacing. Only 10% (15/150) of patients in the study needed pacing. The primary outcome variable was assessment of the need for postoperative temporary cardiac pacing (TCP) (patients were paced during chest closure or at any time during hospital admission). The incidence of pacing during the postoperative period was observed. Univariate and multivariate predictors for postoperative pacing were determined and specicific predictors for cardiac pacing were found. Results: In both univariate and multivariate analysis, Old age > 65 years, diabetes mellitus, pacing to come off cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), CPB time > 100 min, cardioversion to leave OR, antiarrhythmics to leave OR and new onset of atrial fibrillation (AF), were found to be significant predictors for the need to cardiac pacing. Conclusion: After coronary artery bypass surgery, a small percentage of patients require TCP. We emphasize unique predictors for postoperative pacing in this study.

Development of a new connection for precast concrete walls subjected to cyclic loading

The Industrialized Building System （IBS） was recently introduced to minimize the time and cost of project construction. Accordingly, ensuring the integration of the connection of precast components in IBS structures is an important factor that ensures stability of buildings subjected to dynamic loads from earthquakes, vehicles, and machineries. However, structural engineers still lack knowledge on the proper connection and detailed joints o fiBS structure construction. Therefore, this study proposes a special precast concrete wall-to-wall connection system for dynamic loads that resists multidirectional imposed loads and reduces vibration effects （PI2014701723）. This system is designed to connect two adjacent precast wall panels by using two steel U-shaped channels （i.e., male and female joints）. During casting, each joint is adapted for incorporation into a respective wall panel after considering the following conditions： one side of the steel channel opens into the thickness face of the panel; a U-shaped rubber is implemented between the two channels to dissipate the vibration effect; and bolts and nuts are used to create an extension between the two U-shaped male and female steel channels. The developed finite element model of the precast wall is subjected to cyclic loads to evaluate the performance of the proposed connection during an imposed dynamic load. Connection performance is then compared with conventional connections based on the energy dissipation, stress, deformation, and concrete damage in the plastic range. The proposed precast connection is capable of exceeding the energy absorption of precast walls subjected to dynamic load, thereby improving its resistance behavior in all principal directions.
