This study is aimed to assess and evaluate the suitability of groundwater of the area located to the south-east of Al-Ain area in the UAE using hydrogeochemcical approach. The chemical analyses of groundwater samples collected from the study area showed that the groundwater salinity is high which resulted from heavy groundwater pumping. High chloride concentrations in groundwater of Mubazarah and Neima might be attributed to the entrapped saline water within the limestone sequence of Jabal hafit, or it can be the agricultural activities as it clear from the positive relationship between Cl- and Br-. High sulphate concentrations in groundwater might be related to the presence of gypsum and anhydrite within the limestone sequence of Jabal hafit. The anionic and cationic compositions of groundwater indicate that the chloride and sodium ions are the dominant and presence of bicarbonate and sulphate may reflect the mixing of such water by the recent freshwater through the existing structural lineaments within the study area. The hydrochemical parameters indicate a relative increase in the concentration of calcium, magnesium and sulphate ions and this could reflect the influence of carbonates and evaporite sediments.

The increasing use of fossil fuels has a significant impact on the environment and ecosystem,which increases the rate of *** the high potential of renewable energy sources inyemen and the absence of similar studies in the region,this study aims to examine the potential of wind energy in Socotra *** was done by analyzing and evaluating wind properties,determining available energy density,calculating wind energy extracted at different altitudes,and then computing the capacity factor for a number of wind turbines and determining the *** average wind speed in Socotra Island was obtained from the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority data,only for the five-year data currently *** results showed high wind speeds from June to September(9.85-14.88 m/s)while the wind speed decreased for the rest of the *** average wind speed in the five years was 7.95 m/*** average annual wind speed,wind energy density,and annual energy density were calculated at different altitudes(10,30,and 50 m).According to the International Wind Energy Rating criteria,the region of Socotra Island falls under Category 7 and is classified as‘Superb’for most of the *** study provides useful information for developing wind energy and an efficient wind approach.

The increasing use of fossil fuels has a significant impact on the environment and ecosystem,which increases the rate of *** the high potential of renewable energy sources in yemen and other Arabic countries,and the absence of similar studies in the *** study aims to examine the potential of wind energy in Mokha *** was done by analyzing and evaluating wind properties,determining available energy density,calculating wind energy extracted at different altitudes,and then computing the capacity factor for a few wind turbines and determining the *** speed was verified as the closest to the average actual wind speed using the cube root,as this was verified using 3 criteria for performance analysis methods(R^(2)=0.9984,RMSE=0.0632,COE=1.028).The wind rose scheme was used to determine the appropriate direction for directing the wind turbines,the southerly direction was appropriate,as the winds blow from this direction for 227 days per year,and the average southerly wind velocity is 5.27 m/s at an altitude of 3 *** turbine selected in this study has a tower height of 100m and a rated power of 3.45 *** capacitance factor was calculated for the three classes of wind turbines classified by the International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC)and compared,and the turbine of the first class was approved,and it is suitable for the study site,as it resists storms more than *** daily and annual capacity of a single,first-class turbine has been assessed to meet the needs of 1,447 housing units in Mokha *** amount of energy that could be supplied to each dwelling was around 19 kWh per day,which was adequate to power the basic loads in the home.

Multicarrier Waveform(MCW)has several advantages and plays a very important role in cellular *** generation(5G)MCW such as Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access(NOMA)and Filter Bank Multicarrier(FBMC)are thought to be important in 5G *** Peak to Average Power Ratio(PAPR)is seen as a serious concern in MCW since it reduces the efficiency of amplifier use in the user *** paper presents a novel Divergence Selective Mapping(DSLM)and Divergence Partial Transmission Sequence(D-PTS)for 5G *** is seen that the proposed D-SLM and PTS lower PAPR with low computational *** work highlighted a combination of multi-data block partial transmit schemes along with tone *** this,an overlapping factor is used to determine the number of data blocks for every ***,considering only those data blocks that have minimum signal power,the use of DSLM and DPTS are required to eliminate the segment’s *** results reveal that the suggested hybrid technique proves to be better than the conventional PTS ***,the power saving performance of FBMC and NOMA is compared with the Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM)waveform.

This paper studies the impact of handicrafts on the promotion of cultural and economic development for students of art education in higher education through handicrafts based on local customs and traditions. Descriptive, analytical, and experimental methods are used in this research. The results of the study are expected to benefit from the results of this study to provide planners handicrafts in the Ministry of Education. An effective strategy can affect the teaching and learning of handicrafts, the protection of its features and its presence and identity. The study sample consists of 45 students of the third level, batch 2012-2013, from the faculty of Education at the University of Khartoum, Republic of the Sudan. The researchers to prepare topics for handicrafts depend on the use of local materials and units which are derived from the environment and represent the Artistic heritage that is shown through handicrafts （pottery, ceramics, calligraphy, decoration, carpet weaving and textile, sewing, embroidery, sculpture and engraving on wood, metal works, and printing works）. The researchers focuse that the students learn the value of handicrafts in terms of economic and method of production and take advantage of it to increase the income of the individual product. The results confLrms the existence of a difference in the quality and value of handicrafts for students in both groups： the experimental and control group, which confirms that the handcrafts lead to the promotion of cultural and economic development for students of art education in higher education. The researchers are recommended to consider of this topic as a main component which enables an area for further studies to develop different strategies in the field of handicrafts, for students to recognize the importance of the handicrafts value in terms of economic and method of production and take advantage of it to increase the income of the individual product.

针对Bernsen算法的缺陷,提出一种名为BM(Bernsen and Mean)的新算法,该算法对于细节较多、形状多样的图像有着良好的处理效果,且能够克服不均匀光照的影响。通过调节算法中的参数就能够满足不同场合和不同类图像的需要。用其得到的目标图形完整真实,且噪声点很少。利用细节信息丰富的车标图片对BM算法进行测试,结果表明该算法整体效果优于其他算法。

Investigate the Corrosion Inhibition of Mild Steel in Sulfuric Acid Solution by Thiosemicarbazide

Corrosion inhibition of mild steel in 0.5 mol/L H2SO4 was investigated in the absence and presence of different concentrations of thiosemicarbazide. The inhibition efficiency of thiosemicarbazide was studied by electrochemical impedance methods, potentiodynamic polarization and scanning electron microscopy at different inhibitor concentrations. Inhibition efficiency, corrosion rate and surface coverage were evaluated at different concentrations of thiosemicarbazide. Electrochemical impedance plots indicated that the presence of the inhibitors increased the charge transfer resistance of the corrosion process, increasing the inhibition efficiency. Polarization curves showed that this compound acted as mixed type inhibitor. The results of the investigation showed that this compound had good inhibiting properties for mild steel corrosion in 0.5 M sulfuric acid. The adsorption isotherm studies showed that Thiosemicarbazide adsorbed chemisorbed and formed a stable surface complex on the mild steel surface. And Langmuir obeyed the adsorption isotherm. Scanning electron microscopy analysis shows that, the surface morphology of the polished mild steel in the presence of thiosemicarbazide as inhibitor is smoother surface as compared with polished mild steel specimen in the absence of inhibitor.

Power-line networks are designed to deliver electricity. They reach most of the domiciles and other buildings nowadays, so most of the people have access to it. On the other hand the backbone for the communications networks is not available in all countries especially the developing ones. A high cost and changing the design for the networks may be needed to construct this backbone. If data can be transmitted over the power-line networks, a recognized cost and time save can be achieved. In Egypt, the infrastructure is not always available for constructing a communications network backbone due to the already designed buildings before the need for these backbones. In this paper, we overcome this problem by designing a reliable Power-line Modem that operates safely on the low voltage grid. The modem is based on the Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum technique. It uses the mains zero crossing as an efficient way for the synchronization between the transmitter and the receiver. The Modem takes into account the problems of the Power-line including noise, attenuation and impedance dismatching.

Physiochemical, Nutritional and Technological Properties of Instant Porridge Supplemented with Mung Bean

The present study was undertaken to prepare instant porridge from some useful and available ingredients such as bulgur powder, potato, tomato, carrot, mung bean (unsoaked, soaked and germinated), then seasoned with onion, garlic, salt, black pepper, cumin and coriander to make B1, B2 and B3 formulas. Chemical, physical properties, amino acids and sensory evaluation of instant porridge formulas were determined. The data showed that B2 formula which contained soaked mung bean had the highest calories value, total essential amino acids, biological value and water absorption index (WAI) compared to the other formulas, also it is recorded the highest degree of lightness L* values (82.39 and 56.65), least redness a*yle="font-family:Verdana;">yle="font-family:Verdana;">
