An Optimal Cluster Head and Gateway Node Selection with Fault Tolerance

In Mobile Ad Hoc Networks(MANET),Quality of Service(QoS)is an important factor that must be analysed for the showing the better *** Node Quality-based Clustering Algorithm using Fuzzy-Fruit Fly Optimiza-tion for Cluster Head and Gateway Selection(NQCAFFFOCHGS)has the best network performance because it uses the Improved Weighted Clustering Algo-rithm(IWCA)to cluster the network and the FFO algorithm,which uses fuzzy-based network metrics to select the best CH and ***,the major drawback of the fuzzy system was to appropriately select the membership ***,the network metrics related to the path or link connectivity were not considered to effectively choose the CH and *** learning fuzzy sets,this algorithm employs a new Continuous Action-set Learning Automata(CALA)approach that correctly modiﬁes and chooses the fuzzy membership *** the fact that it extends the network’s lifespan,it does not assist in the detection of defective nodes in the routing *** of this,a new Fault Tolerance(NQCAEFFFOCHGS-FT)mechanism based on the Distributed Connectivity Restoration(DCR)mechanism is proposed,which allows the net-work to self-heal as a consequence of the algorithm’s self-healing *** of the way this method is designed,node failures may be utilised to rebuild the network topology via the use of cascaded node *** on the fractional network information and topologic overhead related with each node,the DCR is suggested as an alternative to the *** compared to the NQCAFFFOCHGS algorithm,the recreation results display that the proposed NQCAEFFFOCHGS-FT algorithm improves network performance in terms of end-to-end delay,energy consumption,packet Loss Ratio(pLR),Normalized Routing Overhead(NRO),and balanced Load Index(bLI).

Oxidative coupling of methane over LaAlO3 perovskite catalysts prepared by a co-precipitation method: Effect of co-precipitation pH value

Oxidative coupling of methane(OCM) was conducted over LaAlO3X catalysts that were prepared by a coprecipitation method using different co-precipitation pH values(X = 6–10). The aim is to investigate the effect of p H values on the catalytic activity of La AlO3 catalysts in this reaction. The results showed that the co-precipitation pH value affected greatly on the formation of chemical species of precipitate precursors in the co-precipitation step, leading to different phases of the finally obtained LaAlO3 *** the co-precipitation pH value increased up to 8, the lanthanum-related phases such as La2 O3 and La(OH)3 were gradually formed as by-products, preventing the formation of LaAlO3 perovskite crystalline structure and facilitating the formation of oxygen vacancies on catalyst surface. However, at pH value of9 or higher, the lanthanum content in the precipitate precursor was increased greatly. Not LaAlO3 perovskite but lanthanum-related phases were developed as main phases, reducing their catalytic activities in this reaction. Among LaAlO3 catalysts, the one prepared at pH = 8 showed the highest C2 yield due to its well-developed oxygen vacancies and electrophilic lattice oxygen. Therefore, the co-precipitation pH value strongly affected the LaAlO3 catalyst activity in OCM reaction. A precious pH control should be required to prepare various perovskite catalysts for the OCM.

A survey addressing the uses of bismuth oxide in photocatalysis is presented. The richness of literature on such a specific topic proves the growing importance of this compound as a valid tool in pollution abatement and environmental decontamination. Many research groups have focused their activity on how to improve the photocatalytic properties of this semiconductor and several solutions have been adopted in the synthesis method, often based on wet-chemical processes. The impressive development of nanoscience helped in understanding and identifying process variables and operative conditions aiming at optimizing the yield of this promising photocatalytic material in the utilization of solar energy.

The adders are the vital arithmetic operation for any arithmetic operations like multiplication,subtraction,and *** number additions are performed by the digital circuit known as the *** VLSI(Very Large Scale Integration),the full adder is a basic component as it plays a major role in designing the integrated circuits *** minimize the power,various adder designs are implemented and each implemented designs undergo defined *** designed adder requires high power when the driving capability is perfect and requires low power when the delay occurred is *** overcome such issues and to obtain better performance,a novel parallel adder is *** design of adder is initiated with 1 bit and has been extended up to 32 bits so as verify its *** proposed novel parallel adder is attained from the carry look-ahead *** merits of this suggested adder are better speed,power consumption and delay,and the capability in *** designed adders are verified for different supply,delay,power,leakage and its performance is found to be superior to competitive Manchester Carry Chain Adder(MCCA),Carry Look Ahead Adder(CLAA),Carry Select Adder(CSLA),Carry Select Adder(CSA)and other adders.

Modeling and simulation of nanoscale tri-gate MOSFETs including quantum effects

Quantum effects are predominant in tri-gate MOSFETs, so a model should be developed. For the first time, this paper presents the analytical model for quantization effects of thin film silicon tri-gate MOSFETs by using variational approach. An analytical expression of the inversion charge distribution function（ICDF） or wave function for the tri-gate MOSFETs has been obtained. This obtained ICDF is used to calculate the important device parameters, such as the inversion charge centroid and inversion charge density. The results are validated against with the simulation data.

Decay properties of D and D_s mesons in coulomb plus power potential (Cpp_ν)

The decay properties of the D and D s mesons are computed in a nonrelativistic phenomenological quark-antiquark potential of the type V （r） =-4 /3 α s /r＋ Ar ν with different choices of ν.Numerical method to solve the Schrdinger equation has been used to obtain the spectroscopy of qQ *** numerically obtained radial solutions are employed to obtain the decay constant and leptonic decay *** has been observed that predictions of the ground state masses and the decay widths are consistent with other model predictions as well as with the known experimental values.

Combined treatment of phacoemulsification and single-port limited pars plana vitrectomy in acute angle-closure glaucoma

AIM: To evaluate the efficacy of combined treatment of phacoemulsification(pE) and micro-incisional single-port transconjunctival limited pars plana vitrectomy(ppV) in acute angle-closure glaucoma(AACG).METHODS: A retrospective study included 26 patients who underwent pE diagnosed with AACG. Among them, 16 patients(16 eyes) underwent pE alone, 10 patients(10 eyes) underwent combined limited vitrectomy and pE. Then we compared intraocular pressure(IOp), anterior chamber angle, anterior chamber depth, central corneal thickness and corneal endothelial cell count before and after surgery, and effective pE time during cataract ***: Effective pE time was shorter in the combined surgery group than in the single surgery group(p=0.040). There was no statistically significant difference in IOp and best-corrected visual acuity between the two groups postoperatively. At 6 mo postoperatively, there was no difference in the anterior chamber angle, anterior chamber depth, and central corneal thickness between two groups, but corneal endothelial cell count was higher in the combined surgery group than in the single surgery group(p=0.046). No complication such as vitreoretinal disease, endophthalmitis, bullous keratopathy was ***: Combined micro-incisional single-port transconjunctival limited ppV and pE are more effective and safer than pE alone because of less operation time and fewer complications for management of AACG.
