Single-cell transcriptomes provide insights into expansion of glial cells in bombyx mori

The diversity of cell types in the brain and how these change during different developmental stages,remains largely *** life cycle of insects is short and goes through 4 distinct stages including embryonic,larval,pupal,and adult *** postembryonic life,the larval brain transforms into a mature adult version after *** silkworm,bombyx mori,is a lepidopteran model ***,we characterized the brain cell repertoire of larval and adult *** by obtaining 50708 single-cell *** and 12 cell clusters from larval and adult brains were assigned based on marker genes,*** cell types include Kenyon cells,optic lobe cells,monoaminergic neurons,surface glia,and astrocyte *** further assessed the cell type compositions of larval and adult *** found that the transition from larva to adult resulted in great expansion of glial *** glial cell accounted for 49.8%of adult midbrain *** to flies and ants,the mushroom body kenyon cell is insufficient in ***,which accounts for 5.4%and 3.6%in larval and adult brains,*** of neuropeptide expression showed that the abundance and specificity of expression varied among individual ***,we found that ion transport peptide was specifically expressed in glial cells of larval and adult *** cell atlas dataset provides an important resource to explore cell diversity,neural circuits and genetic profiles.

Qubit,as the basic unit of quantum operations,has at least two quantum states for *** itself has no superimposable quantum states,but after injecting N atoms,the resulted nitrogenvacancy centers form excellent-performance *** the same purpose,we can also obtain qubits by modifying the matrix without effective quantum ***-1({Cu_(3)(BTC)_(2)(H_(2)O)_(3)},BTC=1,3,5-benzene-tricarboxylate)with S=0 ground state is electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)silent,so it is not a qubit ***,the spontaneously hydrolyzed HKUST-1 produces dilute uncoupled Cu^(Ⅱ)ions with S=1/*** this paper,we utilized the hydrolysis products of HKUST-1 to obtain qubits and assembled a core-shell structural HKUST-1@ZIF-8 by ZIF-8({Zn(mim)_(2)},mim=2-methylimidazole)coated over HKUST-1 for controlling the *** experimental results clearly show that the qubits come from hydrolyzed Cu^(Ⅱ)***,the dilute uncoupled Cu^(Ⅱ)ions in this assembly can effectively reduce the decoherence of *** EPR studies show that the T_(2) of this compound is 1067 ns at 10 K.

Experimental Study on Vortex-Induced Vibration of Rough Risers Coupling with Interference Effect in Tandem Arrangement

In order to study the response law of vortex-induced vibration(VIV)of marine risers under the combined action of roughness and interference effects,and to reveal the coupling mechanism of roughness and interference effects on the riser,a VIV experiment of rough risers in tandem arrangement was conducted in a wave−current combined *** experiment characterized the risers’roughness by arranging different specifications of attachments on the surface of the *** rough risers with different roughness and smooth risers were arranged in tandem arrangement,with the rough risers arranged *** experimental results indicate that the suppression of the attachments on the downstream risers’vibration are more significant both in the CF and IL directions as the reduced velocity *** the downstream riser,the amplitude response of rough riser is more significantly weakened compared with the smooth one at high reduced *** the upstream risers,changes in the roughness and spacing ratio have an impact on their‘lock-in’*** the roughness of downstream risers is relatively large(0.1300)and the spacing between risers is small(S/D=4.0),the reduced velocity range of‘lock-in’region in the CF direction of upstream risers is obviously expanded,and the displacement in the‘lock-in’region is severer.

A vortex-induced vibration(VIV)experiment of rough risers with coupling interference effect under a side-by-side arrangement was carried out in a wave-current combined *** roughness of the riser was characterized by arranging different specifications of surface attachments on the surface of the *** risers with three different roughnesses were arranged side by side with smooth risers to explore the VIV response of the riser under the combined action of roughness and interference effect,and to reveal the coupling mechanism between roughness and interference *** experimental results show that,compared with that of a smooth riser,the VIV of a rough riser under the coupling interference effect has a wider"lock-in"region,and the displacement decreases more significantly at a high reduced velocity,which is more likely to excite higher-order modes and frequency *** addition,the displacement response and frequency response of the smooth riser are not significantly affected by wake interference from the rough riser,which is caused by the decrease of the wake region due to the delay of the boundary layer separation point of the rough riser.

A Defense Planning Model for a Power System Against Coordinated Cyber-physical Attack

This paper proposes a tri-level defense planning model to defend a power system against a coor-dinated cyber-physical attack(CCPA).The defense plan considers not only the standalone physical attack or the cyber attack,but also coordinated *** defense strategy adopts coordinated generation and transmission expansion planning to defend against the *** the process of modeling,the upper-level plan represents the perspective of the planner,aiming to minimize the critical load shedding of the planning system after the *** load resources available to planners are extended to flex-ible loads and critical *** middle-level plan is from the viewpoint of the attacker,and aims at generating an optimal CCPA scheme in the light of the planning strategy determined by the upper-level plan to maximize the load shedding caused by the *** optimal operational behavior of the operator is described by the lower-level plan,which minimizes the load shedding by defending against the *** tri-level model is analyzed by the column and constraint generation algorithm,which de-composes the defense model into a master problem and *** studies on a modified IEEE RTS-79 system are performed to demonstrate the economic effi-ciency of the proposed *** Terms—Coordinated cyber-physical attack,flexible load,column-and-constraint generation,defense planning,robust optimization.

The application of multifunctional materials in various fields such as electronics and signal processors has attracted massive attention. Herein, a new organic-inorganic hybrid material [Et_(3)NCH_(2)Cl]_(2)[MnBr_(4)](1) is reported, which contains two organic amines cations and one [MnBr_(4)] tetrahedral ion. Compound 1 has a dielectric anomaly signal at 338 K, which proves its thermodynamic phase transition. The single crystal measurements at 200 K and 380 K show that the phase transition of compound 1 is caused by the thermal vibration of organic amine cations in the lattice. Moreover, compound 1 shows yellow-green luminescence under UV light irradiation. The magnetism measurements indicate that compound 1 shows switchable magnetic properties. This organic–inorganic material is a multifunctional material with dielectric, optical, and magnetic synergetic switchable effects, which expands a new direction for designing multifunctional materials.

Tendon adhesion is a common complication after tendon injury with the development of accumulated fibrotic tissues without effective anti-fibrotic therapies,resulting in severe *** are widely recognized as a fibrotic trigger during peritendinous adhesion ***,different clusters of macrophages have various functions and receive multiple regulation,which are both still *** our current study,multi-omics analysis including single-cell RNA sequencing and proteomics was performed on both human and mouse tendon adhesion tissue at different stages after tendon *** transcriptomes of over 74000 human single cells were *** results,we found that SPP1^(+)macrophages,RGCC^(+)endothelial cells,ACKR1^(+)endothelial cells and ADAM12^(+)fibroblasts participated in tendon adhesion ***,despite specific fibrotic clusters in tendon adhesion,FOLR2^(+)macrophages were identified as an antifibrotic cluster by in vitro experiments using human ***,ACKR1 was verified to regulate FOLR2^(+)macrophages migration at the injured peritendinous site by transplantation of bone marrow from Lysm-Cre;R26R^(tdTomato) mice to lethally irradiated Ackr1^(-/-)mice(Ackr1^(-/-)chimeras;deficient in ACKR1)and control mice(WT chimeras).Compared with WT chimeras,the decline of FOLR2^(+)macrophages was also observed,indicating that ACKR1 was specifically involved in FOLR2^(+)macrophages *** together,our study not only characterized the fibrosis microenvironment landscape of tendon adhesion by multi-omics analysis,but also uncovered a novel antifibrotic cluster of macrophages and their *** results provide potential therapeutic targets against human tendon adhesion.
