We have studied infrared spectral hole burning of the N-D stretching bands of Nh3D+ in salt [(Nh4)2Co0.25Ni0.75 (h2O)6(SO4)2] at 10K. We have observed that the spectral line broadening occurred on a logarithmic timescale, which is consistent with the theoretical prediction of a standard two-level system. The temperature of 10K is also beyond the temperature limit in previous studies on spectral diffusion.

MM： Persistent cholestasis is a rare complication of severe trauma or infections. Little is known about the possible pathomechanisms and the clinical ***： Secondary sclerosing cholangitis was diagnosed in five patients with persistent jaundice after severe trauma （one burn injury, three accidents, one power current injury）. Medical charts were retrospectively reviewed with regard to possible trigger mechanisms for cholestasis, and the clinical course was ***： Diagnosis of secondary sclerosing cholangitis was based in all patients on the primary sclerosing cholangitis （PSC）-Iike destruction of the intrahepatic bile ducts at cholangiography after exclusion of PSC. In four patients, arterial hypotension with subsequent ischemia may have caused the bile duct damage, whereas in the case of power current injury direct thermal damage was assumed to be the trigger mechanism. The course of secondary liver fibrosis was rapidly progressive and proceeded to liver cirrhosis in all four patients with a follow-up 〉2 years. For decades,plants have been the subject of genetic engineering to synthesize novel,value-added ***(PhAs),a large class of biodegradable biopolymers naturally synthesized in eubacteria,are among the novel products that have been introduced to make use of plant acetyl-CoA metabolic *** was hoped that renewable PhA production would help address environmental issues associated with the accumulation of nondegradable plastic ***,after three decades of effort synthesizing PhAs,and in particular the simplest form polyhydroxybutyrate(PhB),and seeking to improve their production in plants,it has proven very difficult to reach a commercially profitable rate in a normally growing *** seems to be due to the growth defects associated with PhA production and accumulation in plant ***,we review major breakthroughs that have been made in plant-based PhA synthesis using traditional genetic engineering approaches and discuss challenges that have been ***,from the point of view of plant synthetic biology,we provide perspectives on reprograming plant acetyl-CoA pathways for PhA production,with the goal of maximizing PhA yield while minimizing growth ***,we suggest genetic elements that can be considered in genetic circuit design,approaches for nuclear genome and plastome modification,and the use of multiomics and mathematical modeling in understanding and restructuring plant metabolic pathways.

In this experimental work,an optically accessible rapid compression machine is used to study the ignition and combustion process under engine relevant operation conditions for five different air-natural gas equivalence ratios(λ)ignited with either 12.2 mg or 6.7 mg of pilot diesel injected at 1,600 *** temperature of the ambient mixture,walls and injector was 333 ***,for the short(6.7 mg)diesel injection,the variation in the ID(ignition delay)for two higher ambient temperatures(343 K and 353 K)was *** and piston displacement are recorded while two high-speed cameras simultaneously capture signals in the visible range spectrum and at 305 nm wavelength for Oh^(*)chemiluminescence *** is measured both from Oh^(*)and pressure *** the recorded data,the heat release ratio is estimated and compared with the visual *** gives an insight of the temporal and spatial evolution of the flame,as well as a qualitative perception of the transition from spray ignition into a premixed flame in the ambient fuel-air *** was found that increasing the methane concertation delays the ignition,reduces the natural flame luminosity and enhances the Oh^(*)chemiluminescence signal.
