Lithium–sulfur(Li–S)batteries stand out the energy storage systems because of extremely high energy density(2600 W h Kg−1)and low-cost sulfur ***,the sluggish deposition from liquid Li polysulfides(LiPSs)to solid Li2S leads to mild power density and short cycle *** and regulating Li_(2)S_(2)/Li2S deposition are conceived to be importance to deliver second-plateau capacity in acceptable kinetics,which has the potential to operation Li–S batteries under electrolyte-lean *** perspective aims to summarize the proposed models that can describe the nucleation and propagation of three-dimensional Li_(2)S_(2)/Li2S,as well as affords critical views how electrolyte dictates LiPS conversion from liquid to *** hopes to encourage necessary scaffold strategies and electrolyte formulations to further improve energy density and life span of Li–S batteries.

Water-quenched copper-nickel metallurgical slag enriched with olivine minerals exhibits promising potential for the production of CO_(2)-mineralized cementitious *** this work,copper-nickel slag-based cementitious material(CNCM)was synthesized by using different chemical activation methods to enhance its hydration reactivity and CO_(2) mineralization *** water curing ages and carbonation conditions were explored related to their carbonation and mechanical properties ***,thermogravimetry differential scanning calorimetry and X-ray diffraction methods were applied to evaluate the CO_(2) adsorption amount and carbonation products of *** development of carbonated CNCM blocks was examined by backscattered electron imaging(BSE)with energy-dispersive X-ray *** showed that among the studied samples,the CNCM sample that was subjected to water curing for 3 d exhibited the highest CO_(2) sequestration amount of 8.51wt%at 80℃and 72 h while presenting the compressive strength of 39.07 *** result indicated that 1 t of this CNCM can sequester 85.1 kg of CO_(2) and exhibit high compressive *** the addition of citric acid did not improve strength development,it was beneficial to increase the CO_(2) diffusion and adsorption amount under the same carbonation conditions from BSE *** work provides guidance for synthesizing CO_(2)-mineralized cementitious materials using large amounts of metallurgical slags containing olivine minerals.

Three lanthanide ions and a rigid(1,1'-biphenyl)-2,4,6-tricarboxylic acid(h_(3)bptc) ligand led to the isostructural lanthanide metal-organic frameworks(Ln-MOFs) {[Ln(bptc)(h_(2)O)_(3)]·3h_(2)O}_n(Lnbptc, Ln = Eu,Tb, Gd, Eu_(x)Tb_(1—x), Eu_(x)Gd_(1-x), Tb_(x)Gd_(1-x), and Eu_(0.12)Tb_(0.52)Gd_(0.36)). The density functional theory(DFT) and time-dependent DFT calculation were expanded on h_3bptc, which point to the occurrence of “antenna effect”. The minor diameter samples of Eubptc, Tbbptc, and Gdbptc can also be attained via the microwave synthesis and employed for handwriting anticounterfeiting. Interestingly, the typical red emission of Eu^(3+) and green emission of Tb~(3+) could be fine-tuned by Gd^(3+) via chemical mixing to be full-color emissions bimetallic doped Eu_(x)Tb_(1-x)bptc, Eu_(x)Gd_(1-x)bptc, and Tb_(x)Gd_(1-x)bptc. The above synthetic bimetallic MOFs can be fixed in positioning boxes of quick response(QR) codes with diverse emission for anticounterfeiting. The message can be decoded under the irradiation of 365 nm ultraviolet lamp while invisible in the daylight. Notably, the trimetallic doped Eu_(0.12)Tb_(0.52)Gd_(0.36)bptc emits white light with the CIE color coordinate(0.34, 0.34). Furthermore, Tbbptc is demonstrated to be a sensitive probe toward nitrobenzene and acetone with multiple mechanisms.

The InSight(Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations,Geodesy,and heat Transport)mission has recorded continuous ambient noise signals with many spectral peaks since its landing in *** majority of these peaks are modes produced by instrumental vibrations and are associated with environmental factors,such as temperature and wind energy *** how these modes react under various conditions is crucial because it aids in identifying their *** this study,we analyzed the three-component spectra of InSight recordings from sols 184–738 and obtained the horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio(hVSR,also known as h/V)curves for different time *** primary modes,such as those at 3.3 and 4.1 hz,exhibited different behaviors,suggesting diverse *** modes were sensitive to low temperature and some were sensitive to high ***,we investigated the influence of wind and temperature on the h/V *** peak frequency was mainly affected by temperature,whereas the h/V value was not associated with the temperature or wind *** these modes and elucidating their origins are significant for processing signals from InSight and can provide valuable guidance for designing future planetary seismometers.

In this paper, we study hypersurfaces of h2× h2. We first classify the hypersurfaces with constant principal curvatures and constant product angle functions. Then we classify homogeneous hypersurfaces and isoparametric hypersurfaces, respectively. Finally, we classify the hypersurfaces with at most two distinct constant principal curvatures, as well as those with three distinct constant principal curvatures under some additional conditions.

The hubble tension persists as a challenge in cosmology. Even early dark energy（EDE） models,initially considered the most promising for alleviating the hubble tension, fall short of addressing the issue without exacerbating other tensions, such as the S8tension. Considering that a negative dark matter（DM） equation of state（EoS） parameter is conducive to reduce the value of the σ8parameter, we extend the axion-like EDE model in this paper by replacing the cold dark matter（CDM） with DM characterized by a constant EoS wdm（referred to as WDM hereafter）.We then impose constraints on this axion-like EDE extension model, along with three other models: the axion-like EDE model, ΛWDM, and ΛCDM. These constraints are derived from a comprehensive analysis incorporating data from the Planck 2018 cosmic microwave background, baryon acoustic oscillations, and the Pantheon compilation, as well as a prior on h0（i.e. h0= 73.04 ± 1.04, based on the latest local measurement by Riess et al） and a Gaussianized prior on S8（i.e. S8= 0.766 ± 0.017, determined through the joint analysis of KID1000+BOSS+2dLenS）. We find that although the new model maintains the ability to alleviate the hubble tension to ～1.4σ, it still exacerbates the S8tension to a level similar to that of the axion-like EDE model.

Transition metal-catalyzed olefination of aryl C-h bond is a powerful tool for the synthesis of alkenes. While the Pd-catalyzed oxidative C-h olefination of arenes, also known as Fujiwara-Moritani reaction, has been established as one of the most efficient methods, the substrates are largely limited to terminal olefins with electron-withdrawing group(s). herein, we report a synergistic silver-mediated and palladium-catalyzed non-directed C-h olefination of arenes with vinyl(pseudo)halides, which offers a complementary strategy to the typical Fujiwara-Moritani reaction. The reactions proceeded well for a variety of halogenated arenes, heteroarenes, and olefin substrates, providing an efficient access to various multi-substituted aryl olefins, including trisubstituted/tetrasubstituted olefins and several complex olefins derived from medicines or natural products. Mechanistic studies indicated a bimetallic Pd/Ag cooperation is operative in the catalysis, i.e., the reaction is initiated by aryl C-h bond cleavage via ligation with phosphine/Ag species, followed by transferring of the aryl moiety to a vinyl palladium intermediate,which is in turn formed by oxidative addition of vinyl(pseudo)halide to a Pd complex. This method enables the synthesis of a wide range of challenging multi-substituted vinyl products from simple arenes(directing-group free) in a streamlined and controllable fashion.

Viscoelastic surfactants(VES)are often used as viscous diverters in acidizing stimulation to prolong the acid consumption time and maximize zonal coverage of the acid for improving well ***,the ceiling temperature of commercial VES cannot exceed 120℃in practical use because of the poor thermal stability and fragile molecular structure,hindering their implementation in hightemperature oil reservoirs,i.e.,≥150℃.here we synthesized a novel C22-tailed diamine,N-erucaminopropyl-N,N-dimethylamine(EDPA),and examined comparatively its rheological behavior,assemblies morphology and molecular stability in 20 wt%hCl with a commercial VES,erucyl dimethyl amidopropyl betaine(EDAB).The feasibility of EDPA for acidizing stimulation was assessed by acid etching of carbonate rock with its hCl solution at 150℃.Rheological results showed that the 2.5 wt%EDPA—20 wt%hCl solution maintains stable viscosity of 90 m Pa s at 150℃for 60 min,while that of 2.0 wt%EDAB hCl solution is just 1 m Pa s under identical conditions.1h NMR spectra and cryo-TEM observations revealed that the chemical structure and self-assembled architectures of EDPA remained intact in such context,but the EDAB suffered from degradation due to the hydrolysis of the amide group,accounting for the poor heat-resistance and *** reaction rate of 2.5 wt%EDPA hCl solution with carbonate rock was one order of magnitude lower than that of 20 wt%hCl solution at 150℃,underpinning the potential of EDPA to be used in the high-temperature reservoirs *** work improved the thermal tolerance of VES in highly concentrated hCl solution,paving a feasible way for the acidization of high-temperature reservoir environments(~150℃).
