The induction generator effect(IGE)and the openloop modal proximity(oLMP)are two different reasons why subsynch.onous oscillations(SSos)in a series-compensated power system(SCPS)may *** IGE attributes the growing SSos to negative resistance,while the oLMP explains the SSo mechanism from the standpoint of modal *** this paper,we investigate the connections between the IGE and the oLMP th.ough equivalent RLC circuit and open-loop modal *** investigation is conducted for two types of seriescompensated power systems where either a synch.onous generator or a DFIG is connected at the sending *** investigation reveals the conditions,in which the IGE and the oLMP may jointly cause the growing SSos,i.e.,both the IGE and the oLMP can explain why the growing SSos ***,the investigation indicates that the IGE and the oLMP may be totally irrelevant and lead to growing SSos *** implies that it is possible that in a SCPS,the growing SSos are only due to the IGE,and the oLMP is non-existent,and vice ***,when the growing SSos occurs in a SCPS,examination based on both the IGE and the oLMP should be carefully conducted in order to find if the oscillatory instability is due to the IGE,or the oLMP,or both.of them.

Primary,secondary and tertiary amino-functionalized zirconia(Zro_(2)-Nh_(2),Zro_(2)-Nh and Zro_(2)-N)was synthesized by the postgrafting method for the adsorption removal of typical metallic ions,phosphate and total oxidizable carbon from a real h_(2)o_(2) ***_(2)-Nh_(2),Zro_(2)-Nh and Zro_(2)-N exhibited similar pore sizes and sequentially increased zeta *** adsorption results of single and binary simulated solutions showed that the removal efficiency increased in the order of Fe^(3+)>Al^(3+)>Ca^(2+)>Na^(+).There is competitive adsorption between metallic ions,and Fe^(3+) has an advantage over the other metals,with a removal efficiency of 90.7%.The coexisting phosphate could promote the adsorption of metallic ions,while total oxidizable carbon had no effect on *** adsorption results of the real h_(2)o_(2)solution showed that Zro_(2)-Nh_(2) exhibited the best adsorption affinity for metallic ions,as did phosphate and total oxidizable carbon,with a total adsorption capacity of 120.9 mg·g_(-1).Density functional th.ory calculations revealed that the adsorption process of metallic ions involves electron transfer from N atoms to metals and the formation of N-metal bonds.

hyperoside and quercetin are similar in molecular *** this study,the antioxidant regulatory targets of hyperoside and quercetin are mainly in the nuclear factor(eryth.oid-2-derived)-related factor 2(Nrf2)pathway predicted by network *** the antioxidant effect and mechanism of hyperoside and quercetin were measured and compared in h_(2)o_(2)-induced hep G2 cells and Caenorhabditis *** findings indicated that quercetin was more effective than hyperoside in reducing oxidative damage,which was proved by improved cell viability,decreased reactive oxygen species(RoS)production,decreased cellular apoptosis,and alleviated mitochondrial *** addition,quercetin was more efficient than hyperoside in enhancing the expression of Nrf2-associated m RNAs,increasing the activities of superoxide dismutase(SoD),glutath.one peroxidase(GSh-Px),and catalase(CAT),and reducing the cellular malondialdehyde(MDA)*** was superior to hyperoside in prolonging the lifespan of worms,decreasing the accumulation of lipofuscin,inhibiting RoS production,and increasing the proportion of skn-1 in the *** the Nrf2 inhibitor ML385,we verified that quercetin and hyperoside primarily protected the cells against oxidative damage via the Nrf2 signalling ***,molecular docking and dynamics simulations demonstrated that the quercetin-Kelch-like ECh-associated protein 1(Keap1)complex was more stable than the hyperoside-Keap1 *** stable structure of the complex might hinder the binding of Nrf2 and Keap1 to release Nrf2 and facilitate its entry into the nucleus to play an antioxidant ***,quercetin had a better antioxidant than hyperoside.

We consider how small delays affect the integral-input-to-state stability(iss)property for a *** result is similar to the input-to-state stability(Iss)result obtained in[1]:the iss property will be preserved in a practical and semi-global manner if the delay interval is small ***,since the iss quantifies the robust stability in terms of a generalized Li norm of the inputs instead of a generalized Loo norm of the inputs for the Iss case,the techniques and proofs for the Iss case do not apply to the iss case *** the proofs in[1]are based on the Lyapunov-Razumikhin approach.our proofs are based on the iss-Lyapunov functions for the zero-delay *** addition to the interest by its own in showing how the iss property is affected by small delays,the result also serves to the study of the iss property for singularly perturbed systems.

Piezoelectric silicon carbide(SiC)has been quite attractive due to its superior chemical and physical properties as well as wide potential ***,the inherent brittleness and unsatisfactory piezoelectric response of piezoelectric semiconductors remain the major obstacles to their diversified ***,flexible multifunctional PVDF/6h-SiC composite fiber films are fabricated and utilized to assemble both piezoelectric nanogenerators(PENGs)and stress/temperature/light *** open cir-cuit voltage(V_(oc))and the density of short circuit current(I_(sc))of the PENG based on the PVDF/5 wt%6h-SiC composite fiber films reach 28.94 V and 0.24μA cm^(-2),showing a significant improvement of 240%and 300%compared with that based on the pure PVDF *** effect of 6h-SiC nanoparticles(NPs)on inducing interfacial polarization and stress concentration in composite fiber films is proved by first-principles calculation and finite element *** stress/temperature/light sensors based on the composite fiber film also show high sensitivity to the corresponding *** study shows that the PVDF/6h-SiC composite fiber film is a promising candidate for assembling high-performance energy harvesters and diverse sensors.

The development of novel piezoelectric catalysts against harsh conditions is indeed crucial for improving the piezo-catalytic degradation efficiency of colored organic dyes in *** this work,6h-SiC nanoparticles（NPs） are utilized to piezo-catalytic degrade rhodamine B（RhB） and methylene blue（MB） under ultrasonic vibration for the first *** degradation efficiency of RhB and MB reaches 98.8% and 98.7%within 80 *** piezoelectricity of 6h-SiC is comprehensively analyzed by the piezoresponse force microscope（PFM） and finite element method（FEM）.The strong oxidizing active free radicals generated by the continuous piezoelectric polarized electric field of 6h-SiC,i.e.,·o2-and·oh,induce the decomposition reactions of colored organic dyes in *** the dyes are proven to degrade to harmless or less-harmful products gradually during the piezo-catalysis process by high-performance liquid ch.omatography tandem mass spectrometry（hPLC-MS）.Moreover,RhB is also decomposed efficiently by 6hSiC NPs under acidic and alkaline *** results prove the feasibility of 6h-SiC for decomposing common water pollutants under harsh conditions and provide a new perspective for water purification.
