Real-time GNSS precise point positioning with smartphones for vehicle navigation

The availability of raw Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)measurements from Android smart devices gives new possibilities for precise positioning solutions,e.g.,Precise Point Positioning(PPP).however,the accuracy of the PPP with smart devices currently is a few meters due to the poor quality of the raw GNSS measurements in a kinematic scenario and in urban environments,particularly when the smart devices are placed inside *** promote the application of GNSS PPP for land vehicle navigation with smart devices,this contribution studies the real-time PPP with *** data quality analysis and positioning performance validation,two vehicle-based kinematic positioning tests were carried out using two huawei Mate30 smartphones and two huawei P40 smartphones with different installation modes:the vehicle-roof mode with smartphones mounted on the top roof outside the vehicle,and the dashboard mode with smartphones stabilized on the dashboard inside the *** realize high accuracy positioning,we proposed a real-time smartphone PPP method with the data processing strategies adapted for smart *** results show that the real-time PPP can achieve the horizontal positioning accuracy of about 1–1.5 m in terms of root-mean-square and better than 2.5 m at the 95th percentile for the vehicle-based kinematic positioning with the experimental smartphones mounted on the dashboard inside the vehicle,which is the real scenario in vehicle navigation.

Discovering Overlapping Communities by Clustering local link Structures

Recent advances point out that the existing community detection methods commonly face two challenges:incorrect base-structures and incorrect membership of *** overcome both problems,a local link structure(llS) clustering based method for overlapping community detection is *** extend the similarity of a pair of links to a group of links named llS,and thus transform mining llSs as a pattern mining *** prove that llS with an appropriate threshold can filter weak-ties in the form of bridge and local bridge with its span being larger than 3.A compositive framework is presented for overlapping community detection based on llS mining and *** experiments on both synthetical and real-world networks demonstrate that our method has advantage over six existing methods on discovering higher quality communities.

China now faces double challenges of water resources shortage and severe water pollution. To resolve Chinese water pollution problems and reduce its impacts on human health, economic growth and social develop- ment, the situation of wastewater treatment was investi- gated. Excess sludge and greenhouse gases （GhGs） emitted during wastewater treatment were also surveyed. It is concluded that Chinese water pollution problems should be systematically resolved with inclusion of wastewater and the solid waste and GhGs generated during wastewater treatment. Strategies proposed for the wastewater treatment in China herein were also adequate for other countries, especially for the developing countries with similar economic conditions to China.

Design of an electronic label for logistics temperature monitoring with low power consumption

There are many problems when traditional temperature sensing radio frequency identification(RFID) tags are applied to logistics temperature monitoring, such as inconvenient data reading, large power consumption, and low bandwidth. Therefore, a low-dissipation electronic tag is designed in this paper to solve the above problems. The electronic tag and the portable temperature recorder were placed in the same position in the same refrigeration unit, and the temperature of the same space was recorded at the same time. The data measured by the designed electronic tag was used as the measured value, and the data measured by the portable temperature recorder was used as the standard value. The correlation coefficient between the two was calculated to be 0.866 9, the root mean square error(RMSE) was 0.796 7 ℃, and the average relative deviation(ARD) was 16.21%. Therefore, the electronic tag designed in this study can meet the requirements of users for temperature monitoring and recording. The temperature control switch designed in this study can disconnect the power supply to single chip microcomputer(SCM) and other modules when the temperature is in the range of normal threshold, so that the power consumption is further reduced and the cost is reduced. The results of this study laid a foundation for the development of low-cost and easy-to-use temperature monitoring technology in the logistics process.

Assessment of CO_(2)geological storage capacity based on adsorption isothermal experiments at various temperatures:A case study of No.3 coal in the Qinshui Basin

Carbon dioxide(CO_(2))capture,utilization,and storage(CCUS)is an important pathway for China to achieve its“2060 carbon neutrality”*** sequestration of CO_(2)in deep coals is one of the methods of ***,the No.3 anthracite in the Qinshui Basin was studied using the superposition of each CO_(2)geological storage category to construct models for theoretical CO_(2)geological storage capacity(TCGSC)assessment,and CO_(2)adsorption capacity variation with ***_(2)geological storage potential of No.3 anthracite coal was assessed by integrating the adsorption capacity with the static storage and dissolution *** results show that(1)CO_(2)adsorption capacities of XJ and Sh coals initially increased with depth,peaked at 47.7 cm3/g and 41.5 cm3/g around 1000 m,and later decreased with depth.(2)four assessment areas and their geological model parameters were established based on CO_(2)phase variation and spatial distribution of coal thickness,(3)the abundance of CO_(2)geological storage capacity(ACGSC),which averages 40 cm3/g,shows an analogous circularity-sharp distribution,with the high abundance area influenced by depth and coal rank,and(4)the TCGSC and the effective CO_(2)geological storage capacity(ECGSC)are 9.72 Gt and 6.54 Gt;the gas subcritical area accounted for 76.41%of the total *** adsorption-related storage capacity accounted for more than 90%of total TCGSC,its proportion,however,decreased with *** CO_(2)-ECBM project should focus on highrank coals in gas subcritical and gas-like supercritical *** research will provide significant reference for assessment of CO_(2)geological storage capacity in deep coals.

Magnet lattice design of the SSRF electron-beam transfer lines

Under three-dimensional plane geometrical constraints ( X,Y,θ ), with two asymmetric achromatic sections, the combined three-section structural FODO-like magnet lattice design is adopted and finely optimized in the SSRF electron-beam transfer lines. The magnet lattice has high flexibility and robustness, and the Courant–Snyder parameters can be easily adjusted within a wide range to meet the requirements of transmission and injection for different operation modes of the linear accelerator, booster synchrotron, and storage ring. In this article, the main parameters of the linear optics design of the SSRF electron-beam transfer lines are described, involving the physical design criteria, the total geometrical layout, the magnet lattice, and the beam Courant–Snyder parameters matching. The studies of the variant beam dynamic simulation program calculations show that the design purpose of the efficient beam transmission and injection will be basically achieved.

Modelling the impacts of structural conservation measures on sediment and water yield in Thika-Chania catchment, Kenya

Recently, there has been a growing need to implement soil and water conservation measures in order to control sediment and water yield from agricultural areas. The objective of this study was to use a modeling approach to evaluate the impacts of structural conservation measures on water and sediment yield from Thika Chania catchment in Central Kenya. The SWAT model was calibrated and validated for stream flow and sediment yield at a gauging station in the catchment. The calibrated model was run to create a base scenario for the simulation of structural conservation methods, i.e. terraces and grassed waterways. Model simulation results indicated that terraces and grassed waterways would significantly impact water and sediment yield at the catchment outlet. Terraces were found to provide the greatest reduction in sediment yield, by 81% from the baseline scenario, while grassed waterways reduced se-diment yield by 54%. Terraces indicated a reduction in surface runoff by 30% from the base annual average value of 202 mm. This was attributed to the increased infiltration that was indicated by increase in base flow by 8%. however, grassed waterways did not indicate any significant reduction in water yield. The results of this study show that structural conservation measures could reduce sediment yield from cultivated areas by more than 50% at the sub catchment level. Results also indicated that the effective-ness of structural conservation measures can be increased by implementing more than one method. Structural conservation measures studied in the current study were found to have a positive impact in controlling water and sediment yield in the catchment. however, further studies need to be conducted to evaluate the costs and benefits of implementing them at a small scale.

A comprehensive numerical model has been developed to investigate the transient behaviors of particle characteristics, such as temperature, melting, evaporation, and oxidation status during argon-hydrogen DC plasma *** model includes heat, momentum and mass transfer of carrier gas, and particle heating, melting, evaporationand oxidation. Special attentions have been paid to the evaporation-induced mass transfer and oxidation-inducedevaporation as well as variable non-continuum phenomena.

Fragmentation behavior of large-caliber PElE impacting RhA plate at low velocity
