Stellera chamaejasme *** a traditional Chinese medicine with a long history to treat stubborn skin ulcer,and it also has antiviral and antitumor *** B(NCB),Neochamaejasmine A(NCA)and Chamaechromone(CMC)are the major components in dried roots of Stellera chamaejasme L..Our studies suggested that NCB,NCA and CMC are inhibitors of Organic anion transporter 1(OAT1).OAT1 is encoded by solute carrier family 22 member 6 gene(SLC22 A6)in humans and plays a critical role in the organic anion drug uptake and excretion in the *** is the typical substrate of OAT1 and is frequently used in combination with other antiviral drugs in clinical antiviral *** aim of this study is to investigate the interaction and its mechanism between these bi-flavone components in Stellera chamaejasme *** lamivudine via OAT1 both in vitro and in *** vitro,the uptake studies in Madin-Darby canine kidney(MDCK)cells overexpressing OAT1 suggested that NCB inhibited the uptake of 6-CFL and *** results were obtained for NCA and *** was a noncompetitive and competitive inhibitor interaction with ***50 values of NCB,NCA and CMC for inhibiting OAT1-mediated lamivudine transport were 2.46,8.35 and 0.61μmol·L^–1,*** vivo,the pharmacokinetic results of lamivudine in rats showed that the mean area under the plasma concentration-time curve(AUC0-∞)and maximal plasma concentration(Cmax)of lamivudine after co-administration is increased 2.94-fold and 1.87-fold,respectively,compared to lamivudine administration *** results of interactions between lamivudine and these bi-flavone components in Stellera chamaejasme *** via OAT1 in vivo are consistent with studies in *** inhibition of OAT1-mediated uptake of lamivudine by NCB,NCA and CMC is the possible mechanism for Stellera chamaejasme *** improving the oral bioavailability of lamivudine in rats.

The Pd-promoted Ga/hZSM-5 catalyst was prepared by impregnation method and its catalytic activity for non-oxidative aromatization of C1 to C3 hydrocarbons was assessed using a microreactor-GC system operated with temperature at 823 K and space velocity at 410 h-1. The catalyst is more catalytically active for methane conversion than Ga/hZSM-5. The mass spectroscopy analyses confirmed that 13Ch4 was converted to aromatic products.

The explosive increase of construction and demolition waste(CDW) caused the insufficient source separation and emergency disposal at domestic waste landfills in many developing countries. Some organic fractions were introduced to the CDW landfill process and resulted in serious odor pollution. To comprehensively explore the impacts of organic matters on odor emission patterns, five CDW landfills(OIL), with organic matters/inert CDW components(O/I) from 5% to 30%, and the control group only with inert components(IL) or organics(OL) were simulated at the laboratory. The chemical and olfactive characters of odors were evaluated using the emission rate of 94 odorants content(ER_(total)), theory odor concentration(TOC_(total)), and e-nose concentration(ER_(ENC)), and their correlations with waste properties were also analyzed. It was found that the main contributors to ER_(total)(IL: 93.0% Nh_(3);OIL: 41.6% sulfides, 31.0% Nh_(3), 25.9% oxygenated compounds) and TOC_(total)(IL: 64.1% Ch_3Sh, 28.2% Nh_(3);OIL: 71.7% Ch_(3)Sh, 24.8% h_(2)S) changed significantly. With the rise of O/I, ER_(total), TOC_(total), and ER_(ENC) increased by 10.9, 20.6, and 2.1 times, respectively. And the organics content in CDW should be less than 10%(i.e., DOC he good regressions between waste properties(DOC, DN, ph) and ER_(total),( r = 0.86, 0.86,-0.88, p hat the carbon sources and acidic substances relating to organics degradation might result in that increase. Besides, the correlation analysis results( ER_(ENC) vs. TOC_(total,, r = 0.96, p hat e-nose perhaps was a reliable odor continuous monitoring tool for CDW landfills.

Previous studies have shown that Biochanin A,a flavonoid compound with estrogenic effects,can serve as a neuroprotective agent in the context of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury;howeve r,its effect on spinal cord injury is still unclea r. In this study,a rat model of spinal cord injury was established using the heavy o bject impact method,and the rats were then treated with Biochanin A(40 mg/kg) via intrape ritoneal injection for 14 consecutive *** res ults showed that Biochanin A effectively alleviated spinal cord neuronal injury and spinal co rd tissue injury,reduced inflammation and oxidative stress in spinal cord neuro ns,and reduced apoptosis and *** addition,Biochanin A inhibited the expression of inflammasome-related proteins(ASC,NLRP3,and GSDMD)and the Toll-like receptor 4/nuclear factor-κB pathway,activated the Nrf2/heme oxygenase 1 signaling pathway,and increased the expression of the autophagy markers LC3 Ⅱ,Beclin-1,and *** r,the therapeutic effects of Biochanin A on early post-s pinal cord injury were similar to those of *** findings suggest that Biochanin A protected neurons in the injured spinal cord through the Toll-like receptor 4/nuclear factor κB and Nrf2/heme oxygenase 1 signaling *** findings suggest that Biochanin A can alleviate post-spinal cord injury at an early stage.

Columnar-grained QSn6. 5-0. 1 alloy slabs with a width of 70 mm and thickness of 10 mm were fabricated by heating-cooling combined mold（ hCCM） horizontal continuous casting. The effects of process parameters on solidification microstructure,surface quality,composition segregation and mechanical properties were studied. The results showed that the slabs with good surface quality,excellent mechanical properties and no obvious segregation could be prepared at the melt casting temperature of 1 250 ℃,the heating-mold temperature of 1 150- 1 200℃,the cooling water flow rate of 600 L / h and the casting speed of 20- 80 mm / min. The slabs had the yield strength of 124- 155 MPa,the elongation rate of 46. 6%- 56. 3% and the surface roughness of 0. 22- 0. 55μm,which enabled them to be directly processed without subsequent milling surface. The ratio of Sn content in the surface to that in the core was 0. 83- 1. 10,with an average value close to 1. 0,and not obviously influenced by process parameters. When the casting speed increased from 20 to 80 mm / min,the grain size changed little if the other process parameters were the same. When the heating-mold temperature increased from 1 150 to 1 200℃,the grain size was obviously refined and became more uniform if the casting speed was the same. Within the range of the casting speed at which the columnar grain structure could be obtained,the columnar grain size was mainly influenced by the heating-mold temperature.

Nanowire coordination polymer cobalt–terephthalonitrile(Co-BDCN) was successfully synthesized using a simple solvothermal method and applied as anode material for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs). A reversible capacity of 1132 mAh g^(-1) was retained after 100 cycles at a rate of 100 mAg^(-1), which should be one of the best LIBs performances among metal organic frameworks and coordination polymers-based anode materials at such a rate. On the basis of the comprehensive structural and morphology characterizations including fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,~1 h NMR,^(13)C NMR, and scanning electron microscopy, we demonstrated that the great electrochemical performance of the as-synthesized Co-BDCN coordination polymer can be attributed to the synergistic effect of metal centers and organic ligands, as well as the stability of the nanowire morphology during cycling.

Earthworms are widespread soil organisms that contribute to a wide range of ecosystem *** such,it is important to improve our knowledge,still scanty,of the factors that drive the assembly of earthworm *** aim of the present study was to conjointly evaluate the effects on the assembly of earthworm communities of i)soil properties(texture,organic matter content,and ph),ii)grassland management(grassland age,livestock unit,and type of fertilization),iii)landscape diversity(richness,diversity of surrounding habitats,and grassland plant diversity),and iv)presence of *** study was conducted in temperate grasslands of Brittany,*** were sampled in 24 grasslands and,in three of these grasslands,they were sampled near a hedgerow or near a ditch(control without a hedgerow).Soil properties explained the larger portion of the variation in the earthworm community parameters compared to grassland management or landscape *** increase in soil organic matter content and ph were the most favorable factors for earthworm abundance and biomass,in particular for endogeic *** grassland management,the increase in the livestock unit was the most damaging factor for earthworm communities,in particular for the anecic earthworm biomass and endogeic species ***,landscape diversity negatively affected the total earthworm abundance and epigeic earthworm biomass,but it was related to an increase in the epi-anecic *** a finer scale,we also demonstrated that the presence of hedgerows surrounding grasslands enhanced earthworm species richness,especially within the epigeic and anecic ecological *** study highlights that the earthworm ecological categories respond specifically to environmental filters;further studies need to be conducted to elucidate the factors that drive the assembly of earthworm communities at this ecological category *** recommend that policymakers should act on landscape man

Density Functional Theory Investigation of Structures and Electronic Spectra of N-protonated Corroles

The geometries and electronic spectra of a series of N-protonated corroles, including unsub- stituted h4Cor＋ and meso-triaryl substituted h4TPC＋, h4TpFPC＋, and h4TdCPC＋, were theoretically studied with density functional theory （DFT）. The results indicate that all these compounds have two conformers, one with C2 symmetry （denoted as Sl） is more stable than the other （denoted as $2, C1 symmetry） by 15.8-18.5 kJ/mol. The corrole macrocycles of these compounds show significant out-of-plane deformation. The enantiomerizations of the chiral S1 conformers were found to be a multi-step process with the $2 conformers as the intermediates. Electronic absorption spectra and electronic circular dichroism （ECD） of these compounds were calculated with time-dependent DFT. In comparison with h4Cor＋, the UV- Vis absorptions of meso-triaryl species are significantly red-shifted and their Q bands are enhanced due to the π-π conjugation between the aryl and corrole rings. Several neighboring electronic transitions were calculated with opposite signs in rotatory strengths, suggesting that ECD spectroscopy may be a useful tool in studying the electronic transitions of these compounds.
