AIM:To determine whether etomidate(ET)has a protective effect on retinal ganglion cells(RGCs)injured with hydrogen peroxide(h_(2)O_(2))and to explore the potential mechanism underlying the antioxidative stress effect of ***:Cultured RGCs were identified by double immunofluorescent labeling of microtubule-associated protein 2 and *** injury model of h_(2)O_(2)-induced RGCs oxidative stress was established in *** were pretreated with different concentrations of ET(1,5,and 10μmol/L)for 4h,followed by further exposure to h_(2)O_(2)at 1000μmol/*** counting kit 8 and Annexin V/propidium iodide assays were applied to detect the viabilities and apoptosis rates of the RGCs at 12,24,and 48h after h_(2)O_(2)*** levels of nitric oxide,malondialdehyde,and glutathione in culture media were measured at these time *** reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)and Western blot were performed to observe the effects of ET on the messenger RNA and protein expression of inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS),nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2),heme oxygenase 1(hO-1),glutathione peroxidase 1 and the level of conjugated acrolein in RGCs at 12,24,and 48h after h_(2)O_(2)stimulation and in the retina at 12h after optic nerve transection(ONT).RESULTS:The applications of 5 and 10μmol/L of ET significantly increased the viability of *** from qRT-PCR indicated a decrease in the expression of iNOS and an increase in the expressions of Nrf2 and hO-1 in ETpretreated RGCs at 12,24 and 48h after h_(2)O_(2)stimulation,as well as in ET-treated retinas at 12h after *** blot analysis revealed a decrease in the expression of iNOS and levels of conjugated acrolein,along with an increase in the expressions of Nrf2 and hO-1 in ET-pretreated RGCs in vitro and ET-treated retinas in ***:ET is a neuroprotective agent in primary cultured RGCs injured by h_(2)O_(2).The effect of ET is dosedependent with the

Converter slag is a by-product of the steelmaking process and contains a large amount of Ca,Fe,P and other *** the phosphorus in the converter slag can be effectively extracted,the resulting phosphorus can be used as a phosphate *** in converter slag is mainly enriched in 2CaO·SiO_(2)-3CaO·P_(2)O_(5)(C_(2)S-C_(3)P)solid solution and is easily dissolved in ***,acid leaching method was used to dissolve the solid solution to extract phosphorus in converter slag,so as to realize the recycling of phosphorus resources in converter *** leaching behavior of three actual converter slags from different steel mills in acid leaching solutions composed of citric acid,sodium hydroxide,hydrochloric acid and deionized water was studied by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy combined with energy dispersive spectrometry,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy to reveal the change in object image structure as well as SiO_(4) and PO_(4) tetrahedron before and after acid *** results show that only a small amount of phosphorus in converter slag with too low basicity is enriched in C_(2)S-C_(3)P solid solution,resulting in poor leaching *** the converter slag has a high basicity,the removal effect of phosphorus is 70.64%-81.88%.In addition,when the basicity of converter slag is roughly the same,the dephosphorization effect of slag with high FeO content is relatively *** acid leaching will cause depolymerization behavior of SiO_(4) and PO_(4) tetrahedron,so that the mole fraction of Q0(Si)(asymmetric stretching vibration of Si-O bond in SiO_(4) tetrahedron with bridge oxygen number of 0)and NBO/Si(non-bridging oxygen in silicate tetrahedra)will ***-containing solids can be obtained from the solution after acid leaching through static precipitation,and the solids have the potential to make phosphate fertilizers.

Pumping ventilation(PV),a special single-sided ventilation(SSV),has been certified as an effective strategy to improve the air exchange rate of ***,most studies targeted on the single space,and few studies have been focused on the effect of internal partitioning on *** paper aims to evaluate the ventilation performance of PV influenced by different configurations of internal *** fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation was used to predict the flow fields and ventilation *** width(w/h),height(h/h)and location(d/h)are the three main internal partition parameters considered in this *** simulation results showed that the total,mean and fluctuating ventilation rates all decrease with wider internal *** normalized total ventilation rate decreases by 7.6%when w/h is increased from 50%to 75%.however,the reduction rate is only 0.23%between w/h=0 and 25%,and only 0.61%between w/h=25%and 50%.The ventilation rate is hardly reduced by increasing the partition width when w/hhereas greatly reduced by wider partition for w/h>50%.Increasing the partition height will reduce the mean ventilation rate but promote the fluctuating and total ventilation rate in some *** increase of total ventilation rate by 1.4%is observed from h/h=50%to 75%.The ventilation rate is larger when the internal partition is attached to the leeward or windward *** total,mean and fluctuating ventilation rates for d/h=50%are relatively higher than d/h=0 by 1.5%,3.1%and 0.8%,*** the internal partition should be mounted attached to the windward wall so as to obtain the greatest pumping ventilation *** periodicity of pumping flow oscillation and pumping frequency are independent of the partition *** peak power of pumping flow is the lowest for the widest internal partition and is negatively affected by the partition height,but it generally has a positive correlation with the distance between the partition and leeward wa

The oxidation behavior of the Al CoCrFeNiYTa_(x)high entropy alloy(hEA)doped with different Ta contents at 1100℃is *** this study,different reasons for the spallation of the oxide scales of hEAs without/with excessive Ta addition after 1000 h of oxidation are discussed,and the most suitable Ta doping content for this hEA is explored,in which the hEA exhibits both an exceptionally low oxidation rate,and the formation of oxide scales composed of intact a-Al_(2)O_(3).Meanwhile,it is found that the addition of Ta can effectively inhibit the phase transition ofβphase,which makes the surface of the oxide scale *** combining our experimental results with Wagner–hauffe theory,the influence of Ta drag effect on oxide scale growth is explained,which provides some theoretical guidance for the subsequent design of AlCoCrFeNi hEAs,and can lead to the development of thermal barrier coatings at higher service temperature.
