An Improved Binary Quantum-based Avian Navigation Optimizer Algorithm to Select Effective Feature Subset from Medical data:A COVID-19 Case Study

Feature Subset Selection(FSS)is an NP-hard problem to remove redundant and irrelevant features particularly from medical data,and it can be effectively addressed by metaheuristic ***,existing binary versions of metaheuristic algorithms have issues with convergence and lack an effective binarization method,resulting in suboptimal solutions that hinder diagnosis and prediction *** paper aims to propose an Improved Binary Quantum-based Avian Navigation Optimizer Algorithm(IBQANA)for FSS in medical data preprocessing to address the suboptimal solutions arising from binary versions of metaheuristic *** proposed IBQANA’s contributions include the hybrid Binary Operator(hBO)and the Distance-based Binary Search Strategy(DBSS).hBO is designed to convert continuous values into binary solutions,even for values outside the[0,1]range,ensuring accurate binary *** the other hand,DBSS is a two-phase search strategy that enhances the performance of inferior search agents and accelerates *** combining exploration and exploitation phases based on an adaptive probability function,DBSS effectively avoids local *** effectiveness of applying hBO is compared with five transfer function families and thresholding on 12 medical datasets,with feature numbers ranging from 8 to 10,***'s effectiveness is evaluated regarding the accuracy,fitness,and selected features and compared with seven binary metaheuristic ***,IBQANA is utilized to detect *** results reveal that the proposed IBQANA outperforms all comparative algorithms on COVID-19 and 11 other medical *** proposed method presents a promising solution to the FSS problem in medical data preprocessing.

Comparative investigation of microstructure and high-temperature oxidation resistance of high-velocity oxy-fuel sprayed CoNiCrAlY/nano-Al_(2)O_(3) composite coatings using satellited powders

Satellited CoNiCrAlY–Al_(2)O_(3)feedstocks with 2wt%, 4wt%, and 6wt% oxide nanoparticles and pure CoNiCrAlY powder were deposited by the high-velocity oxy fuel process on an Inconel738 superalloy substrate. The oxidation test was performed at 1050℃ for 5, 50, 100,150, 200, and 400 h. The microstructure and phase composition of powders and coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction, respectively. The bonding strength of the coatings was also evaluated. The results proved that with the increase in the percentage of nanoparticles(from 2wt% to 6wt%), the amount of porosity(from 1vol% to 4.7vol%), unmelted particles, and roughness of the coatings(from 4.8 to 8.8 μm) increased, and the bonding strength decreased from 71 to 48 MPa. The thicknesses of the thermally grown oxide layer of pure and composite coatings(2wt%, 4wt%, and 6wt%) after 400 h oxidation were measured as 6.5, 5.5, 7.6, and 8.1 μm, *** CoNiCrAlY–2wt% Al_(2)O_(3)coating showed the highest oxidation resistance due to the diffusion barrier effect of well-dispersed nanoparticles. The CoNiCrAlY–6wt% Al_(2)O_(3)coating had the lowest oxidation resistance due to its rough surface morphology and porous microstructure.

Farmland Fertility Algorithm(FFA)is a recent nature-inspired metaheuristic algorithm for solving optimization ***,FFA has some drawbacks:slow convergence and imbalance of diversification(exploration)and intensification(exploitation).An adaptive mechanism in every algorithm can achieve a proper balance between exploration and *** literature shows that chaotic maps are incorporated into metaheuristic algorithms to eliminate these ***,in this paper,twelve chaotic maps have been embedded into FFA to find the best numbers of prospectors to increase the exploitation of the best promising ***,the Quasi-Oppositional-Based Learning(QOBL)mechanism enhances the exploration speed and convergence rate;we name a CQFFA *** improvements have been made in line with the weaknesses of the FFA algorithm because the FFA algorithm has fallen into the optimal local trap in solving some complex problems or does not have sufficient ability in the intensification *** results obtained show that the proposed CQFFA model has been significantly *** is applied to twenty-three widely-used test functions and compared with similar state-of-the-art algorithms statistically and ***,the CQFFA algorithm has evaluated six real-world engineering *** experimental results showed that the CQFFA algorithm outperforms other competitor algorithms.

Recently,unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV)or drones are widely employed for several application areas such as surveillance,disaster management,*** UAVs are limited to energy,efficient coordination between them becomes essential to optimally utilize the resources and effective communication among them and base station(BS).Therefore,clustering can be employed as an effective way of accomplishing smart communication systems among multiple *** this aspect,this paper presents a group teaching optimization algorithm with deep learning enabled smart communication system(GTOADL-SCS)technique for UAV *** proposed GTOADL-SCS model encompasses a two stage process namely clustering and *** the initial stage,the GTOADL-SCS model includes a GTOA based clustering scheme to elect cluster heads(Chs)and organize ***,the GTOADL-SCS model develops a fitness function containing three input parameters as residual energy of UAVs,average neighoring distance,and UAV *** classification process,the GTOADLSCS model applies pre-trained densely connected network(DenseNet201)feature extractor with gated recurrent unit(GRU)*** ensuring the enhanced performance of the GTOADL-SCS model,a widespread simulation analysis is performed and the comparative study reported the significant outcomes over the existing approaches with maximum packet delivery ratio(PDR)of 92.60%.

Wireless Sensor Network(WSN)is a vital element in Internet of Things(IoT)as the former enables the collection of huge quantities of data in energy-constrained *** offers independent access to the target region and performs data collection in an effective *** energy constraints remain a challenging issue in WSN since it operates on in-built *** studies conducted earlier recommended that the energy spent on communication processmust be considerably reduced to improve the efficiency of *** organization and optimal selection of the routes are considered as NP hard optimization problems which can be resolved with the help of metaheuristic *** and routing are considered as effective approaches in enhancing the energy effectiveness and lifespan of *** this background,the current study develops an Improved Duck and Traveller Optimization(IDTO)-enabled cluster-based Multi-hop Routing(IDTOMhR)technique for ***,IDTO algorithm is exploited for the selection of Cluster head(Ch)and construction of ***,Artificial Gorilla Troops Optimization(ATGO)technique is also used to derive an optimal set of routes to the *** clustering and routing approaches derive a fitness function with the inclusion of multiple input *** proposed IDTOMhR model was experimentally validated for its performance under different *** extensive experimental results confirmed the better performance of IDTOMhR model over other recent approaches.

An environmentally benign aqueous protocol for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-（ 1 h）-ones and thiones promoted by a green catalyst, silica gel-supported L-pyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid-4-hydrogen sulfate, has been developed. The use of nontoxic, thermally stable and inexpensive amino acid catalyst makes the process simple with minimal amount of chemical waste. Compared with classical Biginelli reaction conditions, this new method has the advantages of high yields and simple workup procedures.

Studies on product distribution of alkali promoted iron catalyst in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis

The dependencies of hydrocarbon product distributions of alkali promoted iron catalyst in Fischer-Tropsch synthesis have been studied. The concept of two superimposed Anderson-Schulz-Flory distributions has been applied for the representation of the effects of Mg, La and Ca promoters on product distributions. The FTS performance of the catalysts was tested in a fixed bed reactor under the conditions 563 K, 1.7 MPa, h2/CO = 1 and space velocities 4.86 and 13.28 nl·h^-1·gFe^-1. The results indicate that appropriate amounts of these promoters enhance the break in ASF distributions in the order Ca 〉 Mg 〉 La because of the rising of the catalyst surface basicity.

The effects of Mg,La and Ca promoters on primary and secondary CO2 and h2O formation pathways during Fischer-Tropsch synthesis on precipitated Fe/Cu/SiO2 catalysts are *** chemisorbed oxygen atoms in the primary pathway formed in the CO dissociation steps reacted with co-adsorbed hydrogen or carbon monoxide to produce h2O and CO2,*** secondary pathway was the water-gas shift *** results indicated that the CO2 production led to an increase in both primary and secondary pathways,and h2O production decreased when surface basicity of the catalyst increased in the order Ca 〉 Mg 〉 La.

Resistance of helicobacter pylori to furazolidone and levofloxacin: A viewpoint

In their review, Arslan et al[1] did not describe the status of helicobacter pylori(h. pylori) treatment with furazolidone and the resistance to this antibiotic. We have presented different surveys showing the resistance of h. pylori to furazolidone from Asia and South America. The resistance rates varied but were mostly low(here are not enough.data on its efficacy and resistance in the United States and Europe. h. pylori mutations occurring in the oor D gene, including A041 G, A122 G, C349A(G), A78 G, A112 G, A335 G, C156 T and C165 T, and in the por D gene, including G353 A, A356 G, C357 T, C347 T, C347 G and C346 A, have been indicated to be possibly related to the observed resistance. Additionally, to complete Arslan et al 's statement regarding levofloxacin resistance, it should be noted that compound mutations of N87 A, A88 N and V65 I at codon Asn-87 were recently observed in the gyr A gene for the first time. however, the results on these topics are not sufficient, and more worldwide studies are suggested.
