Ni_(47)Ti_(44)Nb_(9)shape memory alloy(SMA)is a promising material in the aerospace field due to its wide transformation *** application of shape memory effect depends on multistep thermomechan-ical loading,viz.,low-temperature deformation and subsequent heating to ***-temperature deformation prestrain plays a pivotal role in shape memory properties tailoring of SMA ***,microstructure evolution and deformation mechanisms of Ni_(47)Ti_(44)Nb_(9)SMA subjected to vari-ous prestrain levels are still *** this end,microstructure evolution and shape memory behaviors of Ni_(47)Ti_(44)Nb_(9)alloy subjected to multistep thermomechanical loading with prestrain levels of 8%-16%at-28℃(M_(s)+30℃)were *** results demonstrate that the stress-strain curve of the specimen exhibits four distinct stages at a maximal prestrain of 16%.Whereas stageⅡand stageⅢend at prestrains of∼8%and∼12%,*** stageⅡ,the stress-induced martensitic transformation is accompanied by the dislocation slip of the NiTi matrix andβ-Nb *** stageⅢ,in addition to the higher density of dislocations and further growth of stress-induced martensite variants(SIMVs),(001)compound twins are introduced as a result of the(001)deformation twinning in stress-induced ***{20-1}martensite twins are gradually introduced in stageⅣ.Correspondingly,after subsequent unloading and heating,a higher density of{114}austenite twins form in the specimen with a larger prestrain of 16%.With increasing prestrain from 8%to 16%,the recoverable strainε_(re)^(T)upon heating increases first and then ***ε_(re)^(T)obtains a maximum of 7.03%at 10%prestrain and de-creases to 6.17%at 16%*** increase ofε_(re)^(T)can be attributed to the formation of new SIMVs,the further growth of existing SIMVs,and the recoverable(001)compound *** the decrease ofε_(re)^(T)is mainly associated with the irrecoverable strain by{20−1}martensite *** effe

Connections Between Induction Generator Effect and Open-loop Modal Proximity to Cause Sub-synchronous Oscillations in Series-compensated Power System

The induction generator effect(IGE)and the openloop modal proximity(OLMP)are two different reasons why subsynchronous oscillations(SSOs)in a series-compensated power system(SCPS)may *** IGE attributes the growing SSOs to negative resistance,while the OLMP explains the SSO mechanism from the standpoint of modal *** this paper,we investigate the connections between the IGE and the OLMP through equivalent RLC circuit and open-loop modal *** investigation is conducted for two types of seriescompensated power systems where either a synchronous generator or a DFIG is connected at the sending *** investigation reveals the conditions,in which the IGE and the OLMP may jointly cause the growing SSOs,i.e.,both the IGE and the OLMP can explain why the growing SSOs ***,the investigation indicates that the IGE and the OLMP may be totally irrelevant and lead to growing SSOs *** implies that it is possible that in a SCPS,the growing SSOs are only due to the IGE,and the OLMP is non-existent,and vice ***,when the growing SSOs occurs in a SCPS,examination based on both the IGE and the OLMP should be carefully conducted in order to find if the oscillatory instability is due to the IGE,or the OLMP,or both of them.

The Wutonggou iron deposit is located in the well-known iron metallogenic belt in the eastern Tianshan,NW China,and has been regarded as a sedimentary iron *** hydrothermal overprinting could play indispensable roles in the formation of high-grade iron ores in sedimentary iron deposits,previous studies mainly focused on sedimentary-related iron mineralization,while the nature and contribution of hydrothermal fluids are poorly ***,an integrated study of ore geology,h-O-C isotopes and^(40)Ar-^(39)Ar dating,is conducted on the Wutonggou deposit,in order to reveal the features,source,and timing of hydrothermal *** studied deposit includes two mining sections namely the Jianshan and ***δ^(18)O values of early magnetite from the Jianshan section range from+3.0‰to+5.8‰that nearly consistent with classic magmatic magnetite,while increase to 6.3‰-8.0‰in the late *** from the two sections shows comparable h-O isotopic compositions and identical fractionation trends,and is plotted in or periphery to the primary magmatic water *** from the two sections are broadly similar in carbon and oxygen isotopic compositions,and siderite from the Wutonggou section is plotted in the same ***,comparable stable isotopic compositions and evolution trends indicate similar magmatic fluids contributed hydrothermal iron mineralization in the two mining ***,water-rock interactions of varying degrees generated distinct mineralization styles in the Jianshan and Wutonggou sections,and caused the isotopic fractionation in late *** extracted from a hydrothermal siderite ore yielded a^(40)Ar-^(39)Ar plateau age of 299.5±2.0 Ma,indicates the timing of hydrothermal iron mineralization is corresponding to the emplacement of vicinity *** together,the hydrothermal mineralization in the Wutonggou iron deposit was the product of remobilization and upgrading of early sedimentary iron ores,a

Insight into the adsorption behavior and mechanism of trace impurities from h_(2)O_(2) solution on functionalized zirconia by tuning the structure of amino groups

Primary,secondary and tertiary amino-functionalized zirconia(ZrO_(2)-Nh_(2),ZrO_(2)-Nh and ZrO_(2)-N)was synthesized by the postgrafting method for the adsorption removal of typical metallic ions,phosphate and total oxidizable carbon from a real h_(2)O_(2) ***_(2)-Nh_(2),ZrO_(2)-Nh and ZrO_(2)-N exhibited similar pore sizes and sequentially increased zeta *** adsorption results of single and binary simulated solutions showed that the removal efficiency increased in the order of Fe^(3+)>Al^(3+)>Ca^(2+)>Na^(+).There is competitive adsorption between metallic ions,and Fe^(3+) has an advantage over the other metals,with a removal efficiency of 90.7%.The coexisting phosphate could promote the adsorption of metallic ions,while total oxidizable carbon had no effect on *** adsorption results of the real h_(2)O_(2)solution showed that ZrO_(2)-Nh_(2) exhibited the best adsorption affinity for metallic ions,as did phosphate and total oxidizable carbon,with a total adsorption capacity of 120.9 mg·g_(-1).Density functional theory calculations revealed that the adsorption process of metallic ions involves electron transfer from N atoms to metals and the formation of N-metal bonds.

Exosomal microRNA let-7c-5p enhances cell malignant characteristics by inhibiting TAGLN in oral cancer

Background: Oral cancer, a malignancy that is prevalent worldwide, is often diagnosed at an advanced stage. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) in circulating exosomes have emerged as promising cancer biomarkers. The role of miRNA let-7c-5p in oral cancer remains underexplored, and its potential involvement in tumorigenesis warrants comprehensive investigation. Methods: Serum samples from 30 patients with oral cancer and 20 healthy controls were used to isolate exosomes and quantify their RNA content. Isolation of the exosomes was confirmed through transmission electron microscopy. Quantitative PCR was used to assess the miRNA profiles. The effects of let-7c-5p and TAGLN overexpression on oral cancer cell viability, migration, and invasion were analyzed via CCK-8 and Transwell assays. Moreover, we conducted mRNA sequencing of exosomal RNA from exosomes overexpressing let-7c-5p to delineate the gene expression profile and identify potential let-7c-5p target genes. Results: let-7c-5p was upregulated in serum-derived exosomes of patients with oral cancer. Overexpression of let-7c-5p in the TCA8113 and CAL-27 cell lines enhanced their proliferative, migratory, and invasive capacities, and overexpression of let-7c-5p cell-derived exosomes promoted oral cancer cell invasiveness. Exosomal mRNA sequencing revealed 2,551 differentially expressed genes between control cell-derived exosomes and overexpressed let-7c-5p cell-derived exosomes. We further identified TAGLN as a direct target of let-7c-5p, which has been implicated in modulating the oncogenic potential of oral cancer cells. Overexpression of TAGLN reverses the promoting role of let-7c-5p on oral cancer cells. Conclusion: Our findings highlight the role of exosomal let-7c-5p in enhancing oral cancer cell aggressiveness by downregulating TAGLN expression, highlighting its potential as a diagnostic and therapeutic strategy. © 2024 The Authors.

Deciphering a Million-Plus RSA Integer with Ultralow Local Field Coefficient h and Coupling Coefficient J of the Ising Model by D-Wave 2000Q
