This study investigates the bond performance at the interfacial region shared by Ultra-high Performance Concrete(UhPC)and steel tubes through push-out *** study examines how changes in steel fiber volumetric ratio and thickness of steel tube influence the bond strength *** results show that as the enhancement of the steel tube wall thickness,the ultimate bond strength at the interface improves significantly,whereas the initial bond strength exhibits only slight *** influence of steel fiber volumetric ratio presents a nonlinear trend,with initial bond strength decreasing at low fiber content and increasing significantly as fiber content ***,finite element(FE)simulations were applied to replicate the experimental conditions,and the outcomes showed strong correlation with the experimental data,confirming the exactitude of the FE model in predicting the bond behavior at the UhPC-Steel *** findings provide valuable insights for optimizing the design of UhPC-Filled steel tubes in high-performance structure.

In this paper,we investigate a decentralized diagnosis problem of a discrete-evnt system(DES) subject to unreliable sensors,where the sensor observations of local diagnosers may be non-deterministic as a result of possible *** studies on decentralized robust diagnosis can only deal with different types of sensor failures separately,e.g.,all sensors suffer from the same type of sensor failures such as intermittent sensor failures or permanent sensor ***,since sensors of different local diagnosers may face different external environments and have different internal characteristics,sensors corresponding to different local diagnosers may also have their own fault *** this paper,we propose a flexible framework of decentralized diagnosis for DES subject to unreliable sensors such that sensors of different local diagnosers are permitted to have different types of sensor *** this end,we extend the existing decentralized diagnosis framework to the case where there exist common sensors broadcasting their observations to all local *** apply linear temporal logic(LTL) to constrain infinite behaviors of private sensors of local diagnosers and common ***,a new notion of φ-codiagnosability is proposed as the necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a decentralized diagnoser that works correctly under sensors,satisfying LTL-based sensor ***,we provide an effective approach to verify the φ-codiagnosability.

Carbon nanotubes(CnTs) have garnered great attention in recent years due to their outstanding electrical, thermal, and mechanical properties. The incorporation of small amounts of CnTs in polymers can substantially improve the sensitivity of the polymer's electrical conductivity. This paper presents a modified Maxwell model to evaluate the electrical conductivity of CnTs-filled polymer composites by introducing a transition zone to account for the tunneling effect. In this modified Maxwell model, the CnTs-filled polymer composite is modeled as a three-phase composite, consisting of a matrix(polymer), inclusions(CnTs), and a transition zone(tunneling zone). The effective electrical conductivity(EEC) of the composite is calculated based on the volume fractions and electrical conductivities of the matrix, inclusions, and transition zone. The model's validity is confirmed through the use of available test data, which demonstrates its capability to accurately capture the nonlinear conductivity behavior observed in CnTs-polymer composites. This study offers valuable insights into the design of high-performance conductive polymer nanocomposites, and enhances the understanding of electrical conduction mechanisms in CnT-dispersed polymer composites.

Loess-mudstone landslides are common in the Loess *** into the mechanical theory of loess-mudstone landslides have become a challenging undertaking due to the distinctive interfacial properties of loess-mudstone and the unique water sensitivity characteristics of ***,it is imperative to develop innovative mechanical models and mathematical equations specifically tailored to loess-mudstone *** this study,we analyze the fracture mechanism of the loess-mudstone sliding zone using plastic fracture mechanics and develop a unique fracture yield *** calculate the energy release rate during the expansion of the loess-mudstone interface tip region,the shear fracture energy G is applied,which reflects both the yield failure criterion and the fracture failure *** better understand the instability mechanism of loess-mudstone landslides,equilibrium equations based on G are established for tractive,compressive,and tensile loess-mudstone *** on the equilibrium equation,the critical length Lc of the sliding zone can be used for the safety evaluation of loess-mudstone *** this way,this study proposes a new method for determining the failure mechanism and equilibrium equation of loessmudstone landslides,which resolves their starting mechanism,mechanical equilibrium equations,and safety evaluation indicators,thus justifying the scientific significance and practical value of this research.

The coupling between heat and pressure is the kernel of inertia friction welding(IFW)and is still not fully understood.A novel 3D fully coupled finite element model based on a plastic friction pair was developed to simulate the IFW process of a ni-based superalloy and reveal the omnidirectional thermo-mechanical coupling mechanism of the friction *** numerical model successfully simulated the deceleration,deformation processes,and peak torsional moments in IFW and captured the evolution of temperature,contact pressure,and *** simulated results were validated through measured thermal history,optical macrography,and axial *** results indicated that interfacial friction heat was the primary heat source,and plastic deformation energy only accounted for 4%of the *** increase in initial rotational speed and friction pressure elevated the peak temperature,reaching a maximum of 1525.5K at an initial rotational speed of 2000 r/min and friction pressure of 400 *** interface heat generation could form an axial temperature gradient exceeding 320K/*** radial inhomogeneities of heat generation and temperature were manifested in a concentric ring distribution with maximum heat flux and temperature ranging from 2/5 to 2/3 *** radial inhomogeneities were caused by increasing linear velocity along the radius and an opposite distribution of contact pressure,which could reach 1.7 times the set pressure at the *** circumferential inhomogeneity of thermomechanical distribution during rotary friction welding was revealed for the first time,benefiting from the 3D *** deflection and transformation of distribution in contact pressure and Mises stress were indicators of plastic deformation and transition of quasi-steady state *** critical Mises stress was 0.5 times the friction pressure in this *** presented modeling provides a reliable insight into the thermo-mechanical coupling mechanism of IFW and lays a solid found

Mussels are common anchoring organisms that adhere to the surfaces of various substrates with their *** adhesion of mussel to substrates is contingent upon the presence of mussel foot proteins,of which Mytilus edulis foot protein-1(Mefp-1)has been identified as the most abundant *** has been found that lipids are involved in the mussel adhesion process and can facilitate *** this research,the adhesion behavior of Mefp-1 on various substrate surfaces under the effect of typical seawater cations with or without the presence of lipid were investigated using a quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation(QCM-D).Results indicate that the presence of cations Ca^(2+),Mg^(2+),na^(+),and K^(+)leads to varying degrees of reduction in the adhesion performance of Mefp-1 on different *** degree of this reduction,however,was much alleviated in the presence of palmitic acid,which is involved in the mussel adhesion ***,the involvement of palmitic acid is advantageous for mussel protein adhesion to the substrate surface in the marine *** study illustrated the significant contribution of palmitic acid to mussel adhesion,which can help to better understand biofouling mechanisms and develop biomimetic adhesive materials.

RBOE is a new type of DnAn-based high-energy melt-cast mixed explosive,whose safety under thermal stimulation is significantly affected by heating conditions and venting area of the *** on the thermal decomposition reaction characteristics and combustion characteristics of each component of RBOE explosive,the cook-off calculation models of RBOE warhead before and after ignition were *** addition,closed and vented warheads were designed,as well as fast and slow cook-off test *** cook-off characteristics and thermal safety venting area of RBOE warhead were extensively *** results showed that the closed RBOE warhead underwent deflagration reaction under both slow and fast cook-off *** calculation result of the shell wall temperature before slow cookoff ignition response of the warhead was 454.06 K,with an error of+1.75%compared to the test result of462.15 K,and the temperature rise rate calculated was in good agreement with the *** calculated ignition time of RBOE warhead under fast cook-off was 161 s,with an error of+8.8%compared to the test result of 148 s,which verified the accuracy of cook-off model of RBOE warhead before *** to the cook-off calculation model of the warhead after ignition and cook-off test of the vented warhead,it was determined that the thermal safety venting area was 1124.61 mm^(2)for fast cook-off and 530.66 mm~2 for slow cook-off,effectively preventing the reaction of warhead above ***,this study provides a scientific basis for the thermal safety design and evaluation of insensitive warheads.

Copper-zinc-nickel(Cu-Zn-ni)ferrite nanoparticles are used for wastewater treatment ***,low degradation efficiency and stability are two main issues that make them unsuitable for actual production *** this paper,the citrate-nitrate auto-combustion method was applied for the formation of Cu_(0.5)Zn_(0.25)ni_(0.25)La_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4);(0≤x≤0.1;step 0.02)(CZnL)*** the substitution process entails the replacement of a small ion with a larger one,the lattice constant and crystallite size does not exhibit a consistent incremental *** behavior is justified and *** size of all the CZnL ferrite nanoparticles is in the range of 8-12 nm,and the lattice constant is in the range of 8.6230 to 8.4865 *** morphological analysis conducted using field emission-scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM)reveals that the CZnL exhibits agglomerated spherical *** energy dispersive X-ray spectrameter(EDAX)analysis was employed to confirm the elemental composition of CZnL *** the process entails the substitution of Fe^(3+)magnetic ions with nonmagnetic ions La^(3+),the magnetic parameters of CZnL nanoferrites show a general decreasing trend as *** 20 K,saturation magnetization Ms shows an overall drop in its values from 59.302 emu/g at x=0.0-41.295 emu/g at x=0.1,the smallest value of 37.87 emu/g is recorded at x=*** highest coercivity(h_(c)=125.9 Oe)and remanence(M_(r)=13.32 emu/g)are recorded for x=0.08 and x=0.04 nanoferrite,*** band gap of all the CZnL nanoferrites was determined using the Kubelka-Munk function and Tauc plot for direct permitted *** doping modifies the band gap(within 1.86-1.75 eV),increases light absorption,induces efficient e/h separation and charge migration to Cu_(0.5)Zn_(0.25)ni_(0.25)La_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4)*** nanoferrite Cu_(0.5)Zn_(0.25)ni_(0.25)La_(0.06)Fe_(1.94)O_(4)achieves a degradation efficiency of 97.3%for methylene blue(MB)dye removal
