Building on the recent systematic research on 1hbenzo[f]indole(Bd),an important advancement in constructing ultralong organic room temperature(UOrTP)materials with a universal strategy via a readily obtained unit(7h-Benzo[c]carbazole,BCz)is proposed in this *** powders of BCz and its derivatives merely exhibit blue fluorescence at ambient ***,when BCz and its derivatives are dispersed into polymer or powder matrixes,strong photo-activated green UOrTP can be observed from their doped systems at room ***,the UOrTP color can be tuned between green and yellow depending on the *** ultralong phosphorescence originates from the generation of charge-separated states via *** matrixes play a key role in both stabilizing charge-separated states and controlling UOrTP *** interestingly,when using polymethyl methacrylate as matrix,the doped films achieve stronger photo-activated ultralong phosphorescence underwater than in air at room *** Bd,BCz achieves better performance not only in ultralong phosphorescence properties but also in practical *** work gains a deeper insight into the mechanism of UOrTP and paves a new approach to applying organic phosphorescent materials to underwater coating and imaging.

Acetylacetone(AcAc)is a typical class ofβ-diketones with broad industrial applications due to the property of the keto-enol isomers,but its isomerization and chemical reactions at the air-droplet interface are still ***,using combined molecular dynamics and quantum chemistry methods,the heterogeneous chemistry of AcAc at the air-droplet interface was investigated,including the attraction of AcAc isomers by the droplets,the distribution of isomers at the air-droplet interface,and the hydration reactions of isomers at the air-droplet *** results reveal that the preferential orientation of two AcAc isomers(keto-and enol-AcAc)to accumulate and accommodate at the acidic air-droplet *** isomerization of two AcAc isomers at the acidic air-droplet interface is more favorable than that at the neutral air-droplet interface because the“water bridge”structure is destroyed by h_(3)O^(+),especially for the isomerization from keto-Ac Ac to *** the acidic air-droplet interface,the carbonyl or hydroxyl O-atoms of two AcAc isomers display an energetical preference to ***-diol is the dominant products to accumulate at the air-droplet interface,and excessive keto-diol can enter the droplet interior to engage in the *** photooxidation reaction of AcAc will increase the acidity of the air-droplet interface,which indirectly facilitate the uptake and formation of more *** results provide an insight into the heterogeneous chemistry ofβ-diketones and their influence on the environment.

Photocatalytic CO_(2)reduction is a promising solution to simultaneously provide renewable chemical fuels and address the greenhouse ***,designing practical photocatalysts with advanced architectures remains ***,we report the preparation of a novel CdIn_(2)S_(4)/TiO_(2)binary heterojunction via an in situ solvothermal approach,which exhibits superior photocatalytic activity for sunlight-driven CO_(2)*** CdIn_(2)S_(4)/TiO_(2)composites exhibit significantly enhanced photocatalytic performance for CO_(2)reduction compared to unmodified TiO_(2).Among them,the 3%CdIn_(2)S_(4)/TiO_(2)composite has optimal CO and Ch_(4) evolution rates of 18.32 and 1.03μmol·g–1·h–1,*** yield of CO is 4.7 times higher than that of pristine TiO_(2).This improved photocatalytic activity of the CdIn_(2)S_(4)/TiO_(2)heterostructure can be attributed to its large surface area,extended light absorption range and high separation efficiency of photogenerated electron-hole pairs,which are supported by the results of photoluminescence spectroscopy and the photoelectrochemical ***,the photocatalytic mechanism based on the binary CdIn_(2)S_(4)/TiO_(2)heterojunction is proposed and separation process of photogenerated electron-hole pairs is *** brief,we aim to provide insights into the application of TiO_(2)in energy conversion processes through the construction of heterogeneous junctions.

The metal promoted In_(2)O_(3) catalysts for CO_(2) hydrogenation to methanol have attracted wide attention because of their high activity with high methanol ***,there was still no experimental confirmation if copper could be a good promoter for In_(2)O_(3).herein,the Cu promoted In_(2)O_(3) catalyst was prepared using a deposition-precipitation *** prepared Cu/In_(2)O_(3) catalyst shows significantly higher CO_(2) conversion and space time yield(STY)of methanol,compared to the un-promoted In_(2)O_(3) *** loading of Cu facilitates the activation of both h_(2) and CO_(2) with the interface between the Cu cluster and defective In_(2)O_(3) as the active *** Cu/In_(2)O_(3) catalyst takes the CO hydrogenation pathway for methanol synthesis from CO_(2) *** exhibits a unique size effect on the CO *** temperatures below 250℃,CO adsorption on Cu/In_(2)O_(3) is stronger than that on In_(2)O_(3),causing higher methanol *** increasing temperatu res,the Cu catalyst aggregates,which leads to the formation of weak CO adsorption site and causes a decrease in the methanol *** with other metal promoted In_(2)O_(3) catalysts,it can be concluded that the catalyst with stronger CO adsorption possesses higher methanol selectivity.

Low thermal conductivity,compatible thermal expansion coefficient,and good calcium–magnesium–aluminosilicate(CmaS)corrosion resistance are critical requirements for environmental barrier coatings used on silicon-based ***2Si2O7(rE=rare earth)has been widely recognized as one of the most promising candidates for environmental barrier coatings due to its good water vapor corrosion ***,the relatively high thermal conductivity and poor resistance to CmaS corrosion have limited its practical *** by the high entropy effect,in this work,a novel rare earth disilicate(Lu_(_(1/7))Yb_(_(1/7))Sc_(_(1/7))Er_(_(1/7))Y_(_(1/7))ho_(_(1/7))Dy_(_(1/7)))2Si2O7((7rE_(_(1/7)))2Si2O7)has been designed and synthesized by a solid reaction process.(7rE_(_(1/7)))2Si2O7 showed a low thermal conductivity of 1.81 W·m^(−1)·K^(−1)at 1273 ***,the thermal expansion coefficient of(7rE_(_(1/7)))_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)(4.07×10^(−6)℃^(−1)from room temperature(rT)to 1400℃)is close to that of the SiC-based ceramic matrix composites(SiC-CMCs)((4.5–5.5)×10^(−6)℃^(−1)).Additionally,(7rE_(_(1/7)))2Si2O7 exhibited excellent resistance to CmaS *** exposed to CmaS at 1300℃for 48 h,the reaction layer thickness was 22μ*** improved performance of(7rE_(_(1/7)))2Si2O7 highlights its potential as a promising candidate for thermal/environmental barrier coatings.

Janus films with asymmetric physical/chemical properties have attracted con siderable attention due to their promising applications in personal thermal management,electronic skin s,sensors,actuators,***,traditional methods for fabricating Janus films conventionally need the assistance of an interface or auxiliary equipment,which are usually complex and ***,flexible poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA)/graphene oxide(GO)/h-BN(recorded as PVA/GO/h-BN)Janus films with thermally,optically,and electrically anisotropic properties are fabricated by a simple density deposition self-assem bly method,which just utilizes the density difference between GO and h-BN during water *** results show that the two sides of the acquired Janus films have obvious asymmetric *** the original state of the PVA/GO/h-BN Janus films,the thermal conductivity of the GO side(10.06 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1))is generally lower than that of the h-BN side(10.48W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)).But after GO is reduced,the thermal conductivity of the rGO side reaches 12.17 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1),surpassing that of the h-BN *** addition,the relative reflectance of the h-BN side of Janus film is also significantly higher than that of the rGO side,and the su rface resistance difference between the two sides is about 4 orders of *** prepared PVA/GO/h-BN Janus films show great application potential in human thermal management,light conversion switches,and electronic *** study provides a simple and versatile strategy for fabricating Janus films with multifunctional(such as thermal,optical,and electrical)anisotropies.

Abscisic acid(ABA),hydrogen peroxide(h_(2)O_(2)) and ascorbate(AsA)–glutathione(GSh)cycle are widely known for their participation in various ***,the relationship between ABA and h_(2)O_(2) levels and the AsA–GSh cycle under drought stress in wheat has not been *** this study,a hydroponic experiment was conducted in wheat seedlings subjected to 15%polyethylene glycol(PEG)6000–induced *** stress caused the rapid accumulation of endogenous ABA and h_(2)O_(2) and significantly decreased the number of root tips compared with the *** application of ABA significantly increased the number of root tips,whereas the application of h_(2)O_(2) markedly reduced the number of root tips,compared with that under 15%*** addition,drought stress markedly increased the DhA,GSh and GSSG levels,but decreased the AsA levels,AsA/DhA and GSh/GSSG ratios compared with those in the *** activities of the four enzymes in the AsA–GSh cycle were also markedly increased under drought stress,including glutathione reductase(Gr),ascorbate peroxidase(APX),monodehydroascorbate reductase(MDhAr)and dehydroascorbate reductase(DhAr),compared with those in the ***,the application of an ABA inhibitor significantly inhibited Gr,DhAr and APX activities,whereas the application of an h_(2)O_(2) inhibitor significantly inhibited DhAr and MDhAr ***,the application of ABA inhibitor significantly promoted the increases of h_(2)O_(2) and the application of h_(2)O_(2) inhibitor significantly blocked the increases of ABA,compared with those under 15% *** together,the results indicated that ABA and h_(2)O_(2) probably interact under drought stress in wheat;and both of them can mediate drought stress by modulating the enzymes in AsA–GSh cycle,where ABA acts as the main regulator of Gr,DhAr,and APX activities,and h_(2)O_(2) acts as the main regulator of DhAr and MDhAr activities.

In this paper,to present a lightweight-developed front underrun protection device(FUPD)for heavy-duty trucks,plain weave carbon fiber reinforced plastic(CFrP)is used instead of the original high-strength ***,the mechanical and structural properties of plain carbon fiber composite anti-collision beams are comparatively analyzed from a multi-scale *** studying the design capability of carbon fiber composite materials,we investigate the effects of TC-33 carbon fiber diameter(D),fiber yarn width(W)and height(h),and fiber yarn density(N)on the front underrun protective beam of carbon fiber *** on the investigation,a material-structure matching strategy suitable for the front underrun protective beam of heavy-duty trucks is ***,the composite material structure is optimized by applying size optimization and stack sequence optimization methods to obtain the higher performance carbon fiber composite front underrun protection beam of commercial *** results show that the fiber yarn height(h)has the greatest influence on the protective beam,and theh1matching scheme for the front underrun protective beamwith a carbon fiber composite structure exhibits superior *** proposed method achieves a weight reduction of 55.21% while still meeting regulatory requirements,which demonstrates its remarkable weight reduction effect.
