In th.s paper, th. analytical solution of a viscous and incompressible fluid towards an exponentially stretch.ng porous sh.et with.surface h.at flux in porous medium, for th. boundary layer and h.at transfer flow, is presented. Th. equations of continuity, momentum and th. energy are transformed into non-linear ordinary differential by using similarity transformation. Th. solutions of th.se h.gh.y non-linear ordinary differential equations are found analytically by means of h.motopy Analysis Meth.d (h.M). Th. result obtained by h.M is compared with.numerical results presented in th. literature. Th. accuracy of th. h.M is indicated by close agreement of th. two sets of results. By th.s meth.d, an expression is obtained wh.ch.is admissible for all values of effective parameters. Th.s meth.d h.s th. ability to control th. convergence of th. solution.

Salinity is a major abiotic stress th.t h.nders plant development and productivity and influences agricultural *** priming is a tech.ique used to boost germination and seedling growth.under abiotic stress.A pot experiment was conducted to evaluate th. impact of seed priming with.potassium nitrate(KNO_(3))at various levels(0%,0.50%,1.00%and 1.50%)under salt stress(0,75,100 mM NaCl)on two maize verities(MNh.60 and 30T60)for th. growth.development and metabolic attributes results revealed th.t in maize variety MNh.60,KNO_(3)priming’s significantly enh.nced growth.parameters th.n in maize variety 30T60 under control and salt-stressed *** with.KNO_(3)enh.nced carotenoids and total ch.oroph.ll in th. 30T60 variety th.t protected th. maize plants from salt ***,it was sh.wn th.t priming with.1.00%KNO_(3)acts as safeguarded to protect th.m from oxidative damage by salt stress minimizing reactive oxygen species(ROS)formation th.ough.increased levels of malondialdeh.de(MDA),catalase(CAT),peroxidase(POD),ascorbate peroxidase(APX),and total soluble *** findings of th. present study confirm th.t th. use of th. Anaemia in Pregnancy in an African Setting after Preventive Measures

Background: Anaemia in pregnancy is a public h.alth.issue in developing countries because of its h.gh.prevalence and its maternal and perinatal bad outcomes. It affects 24.8% of th. world population and 67.6% of th. population in sub-Sah.ran Africa. In Burkina Faso, anaemia prevalence is estimated at 68.3%. In Burkina, preventive measures for anaemia in pregnancy h.ve been implemented by th. ministry of h.alth.to reduce its burden. Th.s study aimed to assess th. epidemiological, clinical and th. outcomes of anaemia in pregnant women at OUAh.GOUYA REGIONAL h.SPITAL. Findings will be used to strength.n th. preventives measures for anaemia in pregnancy. Meth.ds: A cross-sectional descriptive and analytical study was conducted during a four-month.period from October, 28th. 2014 to February, 28th. 2015. pregnant women with.h.emoglobin level below 11 g/dL was considered anaemic according to Wh. criteria, and wh. are willing to participate and wh. were admitted at th. obstetrics and Gynecology department of th. REGIONAL h.SPITAL of OUAh.GOUYA. Results: Four h.ndred eigh.y th.ee pregnant women were anaemic out of eigh. h.ndred eigh.y th.ee women h.spitalized. Th. prevalence of maternal anaemia was 54.7% with.significant month.y variations. Th. mean age was 24.7 ± 6.6 years. Th. women with.ut non-salary occupation (h.usewives and pupils) represented 90.1%. A past medical h.story of h.emoglobin defects (6.6%), twin pregnancies (6.0%), malaria (23.6%) bleeding during pregnancy (20.3%) were th. most frequent. Monitoring th. pregnancy was effective in 91.1% of women. Th. mean h.emoglobin level was 8.8 ± 2.1 g/dL. Th. outcome was marked with.1.7% and 18.9% maternal and perinatal death.respectively. Th. most common contributory factors were: Occupational status, number of prenatal visits, length.of treatment with.iron and folic acid, h.story of malaria, h.story of h.emorrh.ge and brach.al perimeter low (p 0.05). Conclusion: Maternal anaemia is a major h.alth.issue at th. OUAh.GOUY

Background: As th. h.lf-life of intact parath.roid h.rmone (iPTh. is very low, it reflects parath.roid insufficiency with.n minutes to h.urs after total th.roidectomy. Th.refore, iPTh.level assessment in th. postoperative period can be used to predict th. development of h.pocalcaemia. Th. optimal time point to measure serum iPTh.is important for th. accurate prediction of h.pocalcaemia. Aim: Th.s paper aims to evaluate th. ability of iPTh.as an early predictive marker of h.pocalcaemia and determine wh.ch.time iPTh.is more able to predict postoperative h.pocalcaemia. Meth.d: Th.s prospective observational study was conducted in th. Department of Otolaryngology-h.ad & Neck Surgery, BSMMU, Dh.ka, from July 2020 to December 2021, with.67 patients wh. underwent total th.roidectomy. iPTh.levels were measured on th. day before th. operation and at 1 h.ur, 4 h.urs, and 24 h.urs after th. operation. *** levels were measured on th. day before th. operation and 1st postoperative day. All th. data were compiled and sorted properly and were analyzed statistically. Results: Postoperative h.pocalcaemia developed in 18 cases, with.an incidence of 26.9%. Pearson correlation sh.wed a significant correlation between postoperative iPTh.at 1 h., 4 h. and 24 h. with.1st postoperative calcium value. Th. Receiver operating ch.racteristic (ROC) curve was processed for th. postoperative iPTh.at 1 h., 4 h. and 24 h.. Th. sensitivity, specificity, cut-off value, and mean AUC found 93.9%, 94.4%, ≤14.0, 0.988;95.9%, 94.4%, ≤09.5, 0.993 and 91.8%, 94.4%, ≤11.0, 0.993 respectively. Conclusion: iPTh.can be used as an early predictor of post-th.-roidectomy h.pocalcaemia. 4 h. iPTh.sh.wed more sensitivity and specificity for a cut-off value near th. laboratory reference range.
