Microporous molecular crystals are promising materials because of th.ir designable porosity as well as th.ir resistance to ch.mical and oth.r ***,we developed microporous molecular cocrystals by taking advantage of th. specific interactions between porph.rins and fullerene ***-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed th.t one nickel(II)porph.rin interacts with.two fullerene molecules to form a two-dimensional h.neycomb network with.an eclipsed stacking mode,providing onedimensional void *** th. pores were activated by h.at treatment or mech.nical grinding,th. prepared cocrystal can incorporate gas and solvent molecules reversibly wh.le maintaining its ***,it retained its single-crystallinity in th. presence of water,acid−base,or h.gh.*** findings in th.s study expand th. availability of molecular crystals based on intermolecular interactions as porous materials,wh.ch.are expected to work under conditions th.t h.ve not been applicable to oth.r molecule-based porous materials.

Th. cure rates of h.licobacter pylori (h. pylori) eradication th.rapy using a proton pump inh.bitor (PPI) and antimicrobial agents such.as amoxicillin, clarith.omycin, and metronidazole are mainly influenced by bacterial susceptibility to antimicrobial agents and th. magnitude of th. inh.bition of acid secretion. Annual cure rates h.ve gradually decreased because of th. increased prevalence of h. pylori strains resistant to antimicrobial agents, especially to clarith.omycin. Alternative regimens h.ve th.refore been developed incorporating different antimicrobial agents. Furth.r, standard PPI th.rapy (twice-daily dosing) often fails to induce a long-term increase in intragastric ph.> 4.0. Increasing th. eradication rate requires more frequent and h.gh.r doses of PPIs. Th.rapeutic efficacy related to acid secretion is influenced by genetic factors such.as variants of th. genes encoding drug-metabolizing enzymes (e.g., cytoch.ome P450 2C19, CYP2C19), drug transporters (e.g., multidrug resistance protein-1; ABCB1), and inflammatory cytokines (e.g., interleukin-1β). For example, quadruple daily administration of PPI th.rapy potently inh.bits acid secretion with.n 24 h. irrespective of CYP2C19 genotype. Th.refore, tailored h. pylori eradication regimens th.t address acid secretion and employ optimal antimicrobial agents based on results of antimicrobial agent-susceptibility testing may prove effective in attaining h.gh.r eradication rates.

Pro-inflammatory cytokines are produced in th. gastric mucosa by inflammatory cells activated by ch.onic h.licobacter pylori (h. pylori) infection. Polymorph.sms of th.se cytokine genes are associated with.individual differences in gastric mucosal cytokine mRNA level, wh.ch.result in differences in gastric mucosal inflammation, acid inh.bition and gastroduodenal disease risk in response to h. pylori infection. Alth.ugh.polymorph.sms of interleukin (IL)-1B, IL-1RN and TNF-A h.ve been reported to relate well with.gastric cancer and peptic ulcer risk, th.se of IL-2, IL-4, IL-6 and IL-8 genes are unclear. In combined analyses using data from previous studies, we found th.t th. risk of gastric non-cardia cancer development was significantly associated with.IL-4-168 C allele (OR: 0.81, 95% CI: 0.69-1.00) and IL-4-590 T allele carrier status (0.61, 0.53-0.73), and IL-6-174 G/G genotype (2Pro-inflammatory cytokines are produced in th. gastric mucosa by inflammatory cells activated by ch.onic h.licobacter pylori (h. pylori) infection. Purpose： Th. purpose of th.s paper is to discuss provenance description of metadata terms and metadata vocabularies as a set of metadata terms. Provenance is crucial information to keep track of ch.nges of metadata terms and metadata vocabularies for th.ir consistent maintenance. Design/meth.dology/approach. Th. W3C PROV standard for general provenance description and Resource Description Framework（RDF） are adopted as th. base models to formally define provenance description for metadata ***： Th.s paper defines a few primitive ch.nge types of metadata terms, and a provenance description model of th. metadata terms based on th. primitive ch.nge types. We also provide examples of provenance description in RDF graph. to sh.w th. proposed *** limitations： Th. model proposed in th.s paper is defined based on a few primitive relationsh.ps（e.g. addition, deletion, and replacement） between pre-version and post-version of a metadata term. Th. model is simplified and th. practical ch.nges of metadata terms can be more complicated th.n th. primitive relationsh.ps discussed in th. model. Practical implications： Formal provenance description of metadata vocabularies can improve maintainability of metadata vocabularies over time. Conventional maintenance of metadata terms is th. maintenance of documents of terms. Th. proposed model enables effective and automated tracking of ch.nge h.story of metadata vocabularies using simple formal description sch.me defined based on widely-used ***/value： Ch.nges in metadata vocabularies may cause inconsistencies in th. longterm use of metadata. Th.s paper proposes a simple and formal sch.me of provenance description of metadata vocabularies. Th. proposed model works as th. basis of automated maintenance of metadata terms and th.ir vocabularies and is applicable to various types of ch.nges.

Ch.onic kidney disease(CKD) patients receiving h.modialysis(h.) often develop gastrointestinal abnormalities over th.ir long treatment period. In general, prognosis in such.patients is poor due to th. development of protein-energy wasting(PEW). Th.refore, it is important to clarify th. etiology of PEW and to establish.better strategies to deal with.th.s condition. Ch.onic h.licobacter pylori(h. pylori) infection in th. gastric mucosa h.s a close association with.not only th. development of peptic ulcer disease and gastric cancer, but is also associated with.abnormal plasma and gastric mucosal gh.elin levels th.t are seen in malnutrition. It is unclear wh.th.r h. pylori infection of th. gastric mucosa is directly associated with.prognosis in h. patients by affecting gh.elin levels. Recent studies sh.w th.t th. prevalence of h. pylori infection in h. patients is significantly lower th.n in subjects with.normal renal function. In th. natural h.story of h. pylori infection in h. patients, th. prevalence of infection decreases as th. length.of time on h. increases. Th. severity of gastric mucosal atroph. h.s been suggested as th. major determinant of gh.elin levels in th.se patients, and eradication th.rapy of h. pylori improves nutritional status by increasing serum ch.linesterase and ch.lesterol levels, especially in patients with.mildto-moderate gastric mucosal atroph.. Prompt h. pylori eradication to inh.bit th. progress of gastric atroph. may be required to prevent th.s decrease in gh.elin levels and subsequent PEW and improve th. prognosis of h. patients by improving th.ir nutritional status.

We investigated th. interfacial effects on magnetic properties in Co2Fe(Al,Si)/Ge (CFAS/Ge) and CFAS/MgO/Ge systems to demonstrate th. effects of th. interface structure on magnetic properties. CFAS and CFAS/MgO were deposited on th. i-Ge(111) substrate. In-situ reflection h.gh.energy electron diffraction (Rh.ED) patterns sh.wed epitaxially grown CFAS and MgO on Ge(111). According to th. X-ray diffraction (XRD)φ-scan of CFAS(220), we determined th.t th. crystallograph.c orientation relationsh.ps were CFAS(111)//Ge(111) and CFAS(111)//MgO(111) Ge(111). Th. magnetic properties were measured by th. vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and th. saturation magnetization Ms value of CFAS with.2-nm th.ck MgO reach.d th. value of L21 ordered one. A uniaxial magnetic anisotropy beh.vior was observed both.in CFAS/Ge and CFAS/MgO/Ge structures after annealing. We confirmed th. beh.vior did not only originate from th. CFAS/Ge interface but also CFAS/MgO and th. ordering structure.

AIM： To evaluate th. association between gastroesoph.geal reflux diseases （GERD） and coronary h.art diseases. METh.DS： One th.usand nine h.ndred and seventy consecutive patients wh. attended our h.spital were enrolled. All of th. patients wh. first attend our h.spital were asked to respond to th. F-scale questionnaire regardless of th.ir ch.ef complaints. All patients h.d a careful h.story taken, and resting ech.cardiograph. （ECG） was performed by ph.sicians if th. diagnostic necessity arose. Patients with.ECG signs of coronary artery isch.mia were defined as ST- segment depression based on th. Minnesota code. RESULTS： Among 712 patients （36%） with.GERD, ECG was performed in 171 （24%）, and isch.mic ch.nges were detected in eigh. （5%）. Four （50%） of th.se patients with.abnormal findings upon ECG h.d no ch.st symptoms such.as ch.st pain, ch.st oppression, or palpitations. Th.se patients （0.6%; 4/712） were th.ugh. to h.ve non-GERD h.artburn, wh.ch.may be related to isch.mic h.art disease. Of 281 patients wh. underwent ECG and did not h.ve GERD symptoms, 20 （7%） h.d abnormal findings upon ECG. In patients with.GERD symptoms and ECG signs of coronary artery isch.mia, th. prevalence of linked angina was considered to be 0.4% （8/1970 patients）.CONCLUSION： Th. present study suggested th.t isch.mic h.art disease migh. be found alth.ugh.a patient was referred to th. h.spital with.a complaint of GERD symptoms. Ph.sicians h.ve to be concerned about missing clinically important coronary artery disease wh.le evaluating patients for GERD symptoms.

AIM To investigate th. relationsh.p between plasma gh.elin level, h.licobacter pylori(h. pylori) infection status and th. severity of atroph. in h.modialysis *** One h.ndred eigh.s patients wh. received h.modialysis and 13 non-h.modialysis h. pylori-negative controlsunderwent gastroduodenoscopy to evaluate th. severity of gastric atroph.. Serum levels of pepsinogen(PG) were measured as serum markers of gastric atroph.. h. pylori infection was evaluated by anti-h. pylori IgG antibody, rapid urease test and culture test. We classified h. pylori infection status as non-infection, present infection and past infection. In addition, plasma acyl-gh.elin and desacyl-gh.elin levels were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. RESULTS Infection rate of h. pylori was 45.4%(49/108). Acylgh.elin level in th. non-infection group(39.4 ± 23.0 fmol/ml) was significantly h.gh.r th.n in th. past(23.4 ± 19.9 fmol/ml, P = 0.005) and present infection groups(19.5 ± 14.0 fmol/ml, P h.rmore, desacyl-gh.elin level in th. non-infection group(353.2 ± 190.2 fmol/ml) was significantly h.gh.r th.n th.se in th. past(234.9 ± 137.5 fmol/ml, P = 0.008) and present infection groups(211.8 ± 124.2 fmol/ml, P h.elin was positively correlated with.th. PG Ⅰ level and PG Ⅰ/Ⅱ ratio(|R| = 0.484, P h.gh.elins were significantly decreased in accordance with.th. progress of endoscopic atroph.(both.P h.elin was significantly lower in patients with.mild, moderate and severe atroph.(24.5 ± 23.1 fmol/ml, 20.2 ± 14.9 fmol/ml and 18.3 ± 11.8 fmol/ml) th.n in th.se with.non-atroph.(39.4 ± 22.2 fmol/ml, P = 0.039, P = 0.002 and P h.modialysis patients, plasma gh.elin level was associated with.th. endoscopic and serological severity of atroph. related to h. pylori infection.

Meth.l meth.crylate (MMA) was grafted onto silk fiber in a one-step emulsion system using a dieth.lzinc and 1,10-ph.nanth.oline complex. Th. reaction conditions were investigated by varying temperature and initiator to monomer ratio. Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrum, th.rmogravimetric analysis (TGA), and scanning electron microscopy (SEC) tech.iques were used to ch.racterize th. structure, th.rmal stability, and surface morph.logy of th. obtained product, respectively. Grafting of MMA onto silk increased th. th.rmal stability of silk. Th. FTIR spectrum and SEM images provided furth.r evidence th.t MMA h.s been successfully grafted onto th. silk fiber. A peak ascribed to th. C=O stretch.ng vibration of MMA was detected in th. FTIR spectrum of grafted silk fiber, wh.ch.was not present in th. spectrum of pure silk fiber. Moreover, th. SEM images illustrated th. increase in diameter and surface rough.ess of grafted silk compared with.pure silk. Lastly, th. dyeing performance of th. modified silk was significantly increased.
