Th. present work ai.ed to document th. faci.s development and sedi.entology of th. Ragh.ma carbonates exposed along th. eastern coastal plai. of th. Red Sea, north.estern Saudi.Arabi.. Four strati.raph.c secti.ns were measured and sampled(D1–D4) and th.n secti.ns and major and trace element analyses were prepared and appli.d for petrograph.c and geoch.mi.al approach.s. Th. carbonates were subdi.i.ed i.to th.ee successi.e fore-reef, reef-core, and back-reef deposi.i.nal faci.s. Sandy stromatoli.i. boundstone, mi.robi.l lami.i.es, dolomi.i. ooi.al grai.stone, bi.clasti. coralli.e algal wackestone, sandy bi.clasti. wackestone, and coral boundstones were th. reported mi.rofaci.s types. Petrograph.c analysi. reveals th.t th. studi.d carbonates were affected by di.soluti.n, dolomi.i.ati.n, and aggradi.g recrystalli.ati.n, wh.ch.affects both.th. ori.i.al mi.ri.e matri. and grai.s or acts as fracture and vei.let fi.li.g leadi.g to wi.espread vuggy and moldi. porosi.y. No evi.ence of ph.si.al compacti.n, suggesti.g rapi. li.h.fi.ati.n and recrystalli.ati.n duri.g early di.genesi. and pri.r to substanti.l buri.l and i.tensi.e flush.ng by meteori. waters. Most of th. ori.i.al mi.rostructure of corals were leach.d and destructed. Th.s i. i.di.ated by th. h.gh.r depleti.n i. Sr and Ca levels and i.crease i. Mg,Na, Fe, and Mn levels, especi.lly i. secti.n D1, i. compari.on wi.h.th. worldwi.e carbonates.

We carri.d out th.s research.at Abu-Gaddaf Natural Forest Reserve (ANFR) wh.ch.i. located east of Blue Ni.e Ri.er, i. Blue Ni.e State, Sudan. i. ai.s at explori.g tree composi.i.n assessi.g th.i. di.ersi.y i.di.es, and ecologi.al i.portance values. For survey of types and esti.ati.n of densi.y of tree speci.s i. th. forest, we randomly di.tri.uted 97 ci.cular sample plots (0.1 h.ctare (h.)). i. each.sample plot we i.enti.i.d all trees to th. speci.s level, recorded th.i. frequenci.s and computed speci.s di.ersi.y and i.portance value i.di.es (i.i.. A total of 13 tree speci.s, wh.ch.belong to 12 genera and ni.e fami.i.s, were i.enti.i.d i. th. tree layer of th. forest. Mean tree densi.y i. ANFR was 116 trees/h., composed mai.ly of Boswelli. papyri.era (Del.) h.ch.t. (48), followed by Combretum h.rtmanni.nu (19) and Lannea fruti.osa (18). Fabaceae was th. most common fami.y followed by Combretaceae and Malvaceae. B. papyri.era Deli.e h.ch.t was th. most abundant wh.le Acaci. seyal was th. least abundant speci.s. Speci.s ri.h.ess (R = 1.71), evenness (E = 0.69), domi.ance (0.24) i.di.es and Si.pson’s i.dex of Di.ersi.y (D' = 0.76) suggest a moderate di.ersi.y, moderate numbers of i.di.i.uals i. each.speci.s and a moderate communi.y stabi.i.y. Th. research.provi.es empi.i.al results on di.ersi.y and ecologi.al i.portance value of speci.s, si.ni.i.s th. urgi.g need to safeguard th.eatened speci.s and to pri.ri.i.e th.m for conservati.n, as well as th. need to promote management of abundant speci.s to provi.e multi.le forest ecosystem servi.es.

Fi.e perovski.e cerami.s samples of Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) wi.h.x=0.00,0.05,0.10,0.15,and 0.20 were synth.si.ed usi.g th. conventi.nal soli.-state reacti.n *** prepared samples were ch.racteri.ed by X-ray di.fracti.n(XRD),Fouri.r transforms i.frared(FTi.),and UV-Vi. *** sh.eldi.g properti.s agai.st i.ni.i.g radi.ti.n were also *** XRD analysi. sh.ws th. perovski.e cubi. structure as th. major ph.se i. all *** FTi. reveals a di.ti.cti.e band around 614-620 cm^(-1) ascri.ed to th. anti.ymmetri. O-Sn-O ***-Vi. spectroscopy was used to determi.e th. bandgap accordi.g to di.fuse reflectance,and th. results di.play a fi.ed enh.ncement i. th. bandgap from 3.2 to 3.3 eV for all ***-ray sh.eldi.g properti.s of th. synth.si.ed samples were experi.entally measured and compared wi.h.XCOM computati.nal *** relati.e di.ferences(Δ,%)between experi.ental and th.o reti.al values are low and fall wi.h.n th. 0.446%-7.10%*** addi.i.n of Er leads to th. enh.nced densi.y,neutron,and gamma sh.eldi.g *** contrast,ch.rged parti.les’sh.eldi.g parameters gradually reduce wi.h.ri.i.g Er *** results suggest th.t Ba_(1-x)Er_(x)SnO_(3) samples can be used i. di.ferent radi.ti.n sh.eldi.g appli.ati.ns.

Th.rty-th.ee samples were taken from th. Qazzaz metamorph.c core complex to esti.ate th. fi.i.e strai. for felsi. and mafi. mi.erals. Th.se samples i.cluded gnei.ses rocks, monzograni.e, and metavolcano–sedi.entary rocks for both.th. Th.lbah.and Bayda groups. Usi.g th. Rf/j and Fry meth.ds, th. axi.l rati.s(XZ) range about 2.20 to 7.10 and 1.90 to 9.10, respecti.ely. For vari.us rock uni.s, th. strai. measurements sh.w moderate to h.gh.y deformati.n. Most of th. observed samples sh.w sh.llow WNW di.pi.g along a N to WNW trend of fi.i.e strai.(X). Th. sh.rt axes(Z) based to be subverti.al foli.ti.n related wi.h.a subh.ri.ontal foli.ti.n. Th. results demonstrate th.t contacts generated at semi.bri.tle to ducti.e deformati.n and th.t th. strai. of magni.ude h.s th. same value for di.ferent li.h.logi. uni.s. i. concluded th.t nappe generati.n i. orogens results from pure sh.ar deformati.n.
