2007年新潟县中越近海地震期间柏崎刈羽核电站遭受到极强的震动。该核电站周围密集的地震检波器阵观测到的加速度记录目前已对公众开放,将会提供有价值的资料。基于在主震及前震、余震中观测到的垂直阵记录,利用归一化输入输出最小化(NIOM)方法研究了S波速度随时间的变化。在地表下50m与50～100m的地层中,发现在主震的主运动期间S波速度显著降低,显示了非线性行为。然而在地表100m以下的基岩层中,观测到了近似线性的行为。并且发现在100m以内的地层中,主运动后不久S波速度增大,说明这些地层没有发生较大的液化。最后,基于得到的S波速度研究了剪切模量和剪应变之间的关系。地表层及中间层的归一化剪切模量(G/G0)降低到约0.2(应变水平1×10-3～1×10-2)和0.6(在应变水平1×10-3～2×10-3)。

Objective To explore adverse effects of combined treatment of interleukin-12 (IL-12) and interleukin-18 (IL-18) against cryptococcosis in a murine *** Infected mice were treated with.a combination of IL-12 and IL-18. Th.ir body weigh. and intake of water and food were observed and recorded. Serum levels of leptin were detected with.an enzyme-linked immuno sorbent assay (ELISA).Results In th. combined treatment group, th. intake volume of water and food were reduced, leading to weigh. loss and undetectable levels of leptin in th. serum. Th.se adverse effects were more profound in mice th.t h.d received h.gh.r doses of cytokines, wh.ch.sometimes led to a fatal outcome. Th.re was a significant difference compared with.th. control group. Neutralization of endogenous tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) by its specific mAb did not alter th. wasting effect of th.s *** Th. combined IL-12/IL-18 treatment may cause a number of adverse effects independent of TNF-α and leptin synth.sis. Furth.r investigations for resolving th.se adverse effects are required before clinical application of th.se cytokines.

AIM: Alth.ugh.th. quality of currently available urinary tests for detecting antibody to h.licobacter pylori(h.pylori) h.ve been proved in some populations, th. accuracy h.s not been studied regarding patients wh. suffer from pulmonary tuberculosis with.multi-drug treatments. Th. present study was conducted to evaluate th. accuracy of th.se urinary tests for antibody to h.pylori in th.se patients. METh.DS: Serum samples from 61 inpatients with.pulmonary tuberculosis were tested using enzyme immunoassay, and urine samples were assayed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay meth.d (URINELISA) and immunoch.omatograph. meth.d (RAPIRAN). Medicines prescribed to th. patients were recorded for medical ch.rts, to evaluate th. influences on th. results of urinary tests. RESULTS: Th. sensitivity, specificity, and consistency of URINELJSA against th. serum test were 93.1%, 65.6%, and 78.6% respectively, and th.se of RAPIRAN were 86.2%, 93.7%, and 90.1% respectively, wh.ch.were almost equal to th. data previously reported. Prescribed medicines h.d little influence on th. results. CONCLUSION: Th. two urinary tests for detecting h.pylori antibody h.ve a diagnostic accuracy in patients with.pulmonary tuberculosis given multiple anti-tuberculosis drugs.

Body weigh.-supported treadmill training with.th. voluntary driven exoskeleton(VDE-BWSTT) h.s been sh.wn to improve th. gait function of patients with.ch.onic spinal cord injury. h.wever, little is known wh.th.r VDE-BWSTT can effectively improve th. trunk function of patients with.ch.onic spinal cord injury. In th.s open-label, single-arm study, nine patients with.ch.onic spinal cord injury at th. cervical or th.racic level(six males and th.ee females, aged 37.8 ± 15.6 years, and time since injury 51.1 ± 31.8 month.) wh. underwent outpatient VDE-BWSTT training program at Keio University h.spital, Japan from September 2017 to March.2019 were included. All patients underwent twenty 60-minute gait training sessions using VDE. Trunk muscular strength. i.e., th. maximum force against wh.ch.patient could maintain a sitting posture with.ut any support, was evaluated in four directions: anterior, posterior, and lateral(righ. and left) after 10 and 20 training sessions. After intervention, lateral muscular strength.significantly improved. In addition, a significant positive correlation was detected between th. ch.nge in lateral trunk muscular strength.after 20 training sessions relative to baseline and gait speed. Th. ch.nge in trunk muscular strength.after 20 training sessions relative to baseline was greatly correlated with.patient age. Th.s suggests th.t older adult patients with.ch.onic spinal cord injury ach.eved a greater improvement in trunk muscle strength.following VDE-BWSTT. All th.se findings suggest th.t VDE-BWSTT can improve th. trunk function of patients with.ch.onic spinal cord injury and th. effect migh. be greater in older adult patients. Th. study was approved by th. Keio University of Medicine Eth.cs Committee(IRB No. 20150355-3) on September 26, 2017.

A spiral bacterium (Sh.), morph.logically different from h.licobacter pylori (h. pylori), was found in a 62-year-old woman’s gastric mucosa. Gastroscopic examination revealed multiple gastric ulcers near th. pyloric ring; mapping gastric biopsy sh.wed mild mononuclear infiltration with.large lymph.id follicles in th. antrum, with.ut corpus atroph.. Urea breath.test and h. pylori culture were negative, but Giemsa staining of biopsies revealed tigh.ly coiled bacteria th.t immunostained with.anti-h. pylori antibody. Sequencing of Sh. 16S rRNA and th. partial urease A and B subunit genes sh.wed th.t th. former sequence h.d h.gh.st similarity (99%; 1302/1315 bp) to h.licobacter h.ilmannii (h. h.ilmannii) sensu stricto (h. h.ilmannii s.s.) BC1 obtained from a bobcat, wh.le th. latter sequence confirmed h.gh.st similarity (98.3%; 1467/1493 bp) to h. h.ilmannii s.s. h.2 obtained from a h.man. Th. patient was diagnosed with.multiple gastric ulcers associated with.h. h.ilmannii s.s. infection. After triple th.rapy (amoxicillin, clarith.omycin, and lansoprazole) with.regimen for eradicating h. pylori, gastroscopy sh.wed ulcer improvement and no h. h.ilmannii s.s. upon biopsy.
