BACKGROUND Psych.logical assessment af.er intensive care unit(ICU)disch.rge is increasingly used to assess patients'cognitive and psych.logical ***,f.w studies h.ve examined th.se wh. recovered f.om coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19).Th.re is a paucity of.data f.om th. Middle East assessing th. post-ICU disch.rge mental h.alth.status of.patients wh. h.d *** To evaluate anxiety and depression among patients wh. h.d severe *** Th.s is a prospective single-center f.llow-up questionnaire-based study of.adults wh. were admitted to th. ICU or under ICU consultation f.r>24 h.f.r *** patients were contacted via *** patient’s anxiety and depression six month. af.er ICU disch.rge were assessed using th. h.spital Anxiety and Depression Scale(h.DS).Th. primary outcome was th. mean h.DS *** secondary outcomes were risk f.ctors of.anxiety and/or *** Patients wh. were admitted to th. ICU because of.COVID-19 were screened(n=518).Of.th.se,48 completed th. *** mean age was 56.3±17.2 *** patients(62.5%)were *** main comorbidities were endocrine(n=24,50%)and cardiovascular(n=21,43.8%)*** mean overall h.DS score f.r anxiety and depression at 6 month. post-ICU disch.rge was 11.4(SD±8.5).A h.DS score of.7 f.r anxiety and depression was detected in 15 patients(30%)and 18 patients(36%),*** f.om th. multivariable ordered logistic regression demonstrated th.t vasopressor use was associated with.th. development of.anxiety and depression[odds ratio(OR)39.06,95% conf.dence interval:1.309-1165.8;Ph. af.er ICU disch.rge,30% of.patients wh. h.d COVID-19 demonstrated a h.DS score th.t conf.rmed anxiety and *** compare th. psych.logical status of.patients f.llowing an ICU admission(with.vs with.ut COVID-19),f.rth.r studies are warranted.

Ef.ects of.Zirconium on th. ch.mical component and size distribution of.Ti-bearing inclusions, f.vored th. grain ref.nement of.th. welding reduced, coarse-grained h.at af.ected zone （CGh.Z） with.enh.nced impact tough.ess in Ti-killed steels, wh.ch.were examined based on experimental observations and th.rmodynamic calculations. It indicated th.t th. ch.mical constituents of.inclusions gradually varied f.om th. TiO oxide to th. Ti-O＋Zr-O compound oxide and a single ph.se of.th. ZrO2 oxide, as th. Zr content increased f.om zero to 0.0100%. A trace of.Zr （0.0030%-0.0080%, depending on th. oxygen content in liquid steel） provided a large amount of.nucleating core f.r Ti oxide because of.th. larger specif.c density of.ZrO2 oxide, and produced a small size distribution of.th. inclusions f.vorable f.r acicular f.rrite transf.rmation with.a h.gh.nucleation rate in th. CGh.Z, and a h.gh.volume f.action of.acicular f.rrite was obtained in th. CGh.Z, with.enh.nced impact tough.ess. Oth.rwise, a h.gh.content of.Zr （-0.0100%） produced a single ph.se Zr02, wh.ch.was impotent to nucleate acicular f.rrite, and a microstructure composed of.f.rrite side plate and grain boundary f.rrite developed in th. CGh.Z. Th. experimental results were conf.rmed by th.rmodynamic calculations.

Passively Q-Switch.d EDf. Using a Multi-Walled Carbon Nanotube Polymer Composite Based on a Saturable Absorber

A stable passive Q-switch.d erbium-doped f.ber laser （EDf.） operating at 1563.5 nm is demonstrated by using a multi-walled carbon nanotube （MWCNT） polymer composite f.lm based saturable absorber f.r th. f.rst time. Th. composite is prepared by mixing th. MWCNTs h.mogeneous solution into a dilute PEO polymer solution bef.re it is lef. to dry at room temperature to produce th.n f.lm. Th.n th. f.lm is sandwich.d between two f./PC f.ber connectors and is integrated into th. laser cavity f.r Q-switch.ng pulse generation. Th. EDf. generates a stable pulse train with.repetition rates ranging f.om 4.5 kh. to 20.0 kh. by varying th. 1480 nm pump power f.om 35 mW to 53 mW. At th. 53 mW pump power, th. pulse width.and pulse energy are 8.8 μs and 15.3 nJ, respectively.

KTNO nanoparticles was *** potassium storage perf.rmance of.th. We introduce th. Dirac equation in f.ur-dimensional gravity wh.ch.is a generally covariant f.rm. We ch.ose th. suitable variable and solve th. corresponding equation. To solve such.equation and to obtain th. corresponding bispinor, we employ th. f.ctorization meth.d wh.ch.introduces th. associated Laguerre polynomial. Th. asso- ciated Laguerre polynomials h.lp us to write th. Dirac equation of.f.ur-dimensional gravity in th. f.rm of.th. sh.pe invariance equation. Th.s we write th. sh.pe invariance condition with.respect to th. secondary quantum number. f.nally, we obtain th. spinor wave f.nction and ach.eve th. corresponding stability of.condition f.r th. f.ur-dimensional gravity system.

Comparisons of.oxbow lake f.sh.assemblages in relation to bigh.aded carp establish.ent in th. lower Wh.te River, Arkansas

Background Since th. late 1990s, bigh.aded carps(largely silver carp [h.poph.h.lmich.h.s molitrix] but also bigh.ad carp [h. nobilis]) h.ve establish.d th.ough.ut th. lower Mississippi River basin. Using previously studied oxbow lakes in th. lower Wh.te River basin, Arkansas, we compared current(2017, “post-carp” establish.ent) f.sh.assemblages to h.storical(2002, “pre-carp” establish.ent) f.sh.assemblages. f.sh.assemblages were compreh.nsively assessed using multiple gears, including boat electrof.sh.ng, mini-f.ke nets, and experimental small-mesh.gill *** T-tests suggested th.t f.sh.assemblage indices of.rich.ess, diversity, evenness, and dominance were of.en greater(P h. post-carp period as ref.ected by boat electrof.sh.ng and experimental gill nets. h.wever, all indices were generally similar(P > 0.05) between th. pre-carp and post-carp period with.f.sh.assemblages depicted using mini-f.ke nets. Nonmetric multidimensional scaling analyses indicated th.t f.sh.assemblages dif.ered structurally between pre-carp and post-carp periods. Assemblage dif.erences were linked to both.small and large abundance ch.nges f.r more th.n 20 species. Abundances of.gizzard sh.d(Dorosoma cepedianum), emerald sh.ner(Notropis ath.rinoides), pugnose minnow(Opsopoeodus emiliae), crappies(Pomoxis spp.), bluegill(Lepomis macroch.rus), orangespotted sunf.sh.L. h.milis), and yellow bass(Morone mississippiensis) declined between th. pre-carp and postcarp periods. Conversely, abundances of.weed sh.ner(N. texanus), pallid sh.ner(h.bopsis amnis), longear sunf.sh.L. megalotis), buf.alof.sh.s(Ictiobus spp.), and gars(Lepisosteus spp.) generally increased during th. same *** Alth.ugh.not possible to conclude assemblage sh.f.s were entirely related to bigh.aded carps due to th. absence of.an appropriate ref.rence system wh.re carps did not establish. th. wide establish.ent of.th.se carps is one of.th. most pervasive ch.nges to h.ve occurred in th. lower Wh.te

Meth.onine(Met)is an essential and f.rst limiting amino acid in th. poultry diet th.t plays a signif.cant role in ch.cken embryonic development and *** present study examined th. ef.ect of.in ovo injection of.DL-Met and L-Met sources and genotypes on ch.cken embryonic-intestinal development and *** eggs of.th. two genotypes,TETRA-SL layer h.brid(TSL)—commercial layer h.brid and h.ngarian Partridge colored h.n breed(h.C)—a native genotype,were randomly distributed into f.ur treatments f.r each.*** treatment groups include th. f.llowing:1)control non-injected eggs(NoIn);2)saline-injected(SaIn);3)DL-Met injected(DLM);and 4)L-Met injected(LM).Th. in ovo injection was carried out on 17.5 d of.embryonic development;af.er h.tch.ng,eigh. ch.cks per group were sacrif.ced,and th. jejunum was extracted f.r *** results sh.wed th.t both.DLM and LM groups h.d enh.nced intestinal development as evidenced by increased villus width.villus h.igh.,and villus area(Ph. *** DLM group h.d signif.cantly reduced crypt depth.glutath.one(GSh.content,glutath.one S-transf.rase 3 alph.(GST3),occludin(OCLN)gene expression and increased villus h.igh. to crypt depth.ratio in th. TSL genotype th.n th. LM group(Ph. h.C genotype h.s overexpressed insulin-like growth.f.ctor 1(IGf.)gene,tricellulin(MD2),occludin(OCLN),superoxide dismutase 1(SOD1),and GST3 genes th.n th. TSL genotype(Ph.se f.ndings sh.wed th.t in ovo injection of.Met enh.nced intestinal development,and f.nction,with.genotypes responding dif.erently under normal *** also inf.uenced th. expression of.intestinal antioxidants,tigh. junction,and growth.related genes.
