Ba.teriocin is a.biopreserva.ive a.ent potentia. of suppressing growth.of some conta.ina.t ba.teria.in food industry but its commercia. a.a.la.ility is limited a.d costly. Th. study a.med to select isola.es of La.toba.illus spp. potentia. for producing ba.teriocins to suppress th. growth.of Esch.rich.a.coli a.CC 25922 a.d Ba.illus subtilis NCIB3610, a.d to optimize th. process of ba.teriocin production. Results obta.ned in th.s study sh.wed th.t L. a.idoph.lus isola.e Ch. wa. selected a. th. best ca.dida.e for ba.teriocin a.ong th. four isola.es th.t tested. Th. la.gest a.ounts of th. ba.teriocins were synth.sized only in MRS medium wa. supplemented with.K2h.O4 (1.0%), Tween 80 (1%), Beef extra.t (1%), glucose, cyctein a.d peptone extra.t (1%). Th. optimiza.ion of culture conditions for ba.teriocin production a.ea. sh.wed th.t corn steep liquor medium wa. th. best medium for a.l isola.es a.a.nst Ba.illus subtilis wh.le no effect wa. observed on Esch.rich.a.coli a.CC 25922 except wh.n used MRS medium. Th. optimum conditions for ba.teriocin production were ph.6.0, tempera.ure 34?C with.4% Ph.nyl a.eta.ide sh.wing th. grea.est growth.inh.bition a.ea..

Meth.ds： Eth.nol extra.ts of h. sa.da.iffa.or Z. officina.e [1 g/（kg·da.）] were given p.o. to ma.e a.bino ra.s for 26 da.s, wh.ch.bega. 21 da.s before a.single cispla.in i.p. injection （10 mg/kg body weigh.）. Results： Extra.ts of h. sa.da.iffa.a.d Z. offcina.e reduced th. extent of cispla.in-induced sperm a.norma.ity a.d enh.nced sperm motility. Both.extra.ts restored th. control level of ma.ondia.deh.de （MDa. （lipid peroxida.ion ma.ker） in th. cispla.in-trea.ed testis.
