Synthesis of shape-controlled Pt nanocrystals is substantial and important for enhancing chemical and electrochemical ***,the removal of capping agents,shape-controlling chemicals,on Pt surfaces is essential prior to conducting the catalytic *** we report a facile one-pot synthesis of Pt nanocubes directly grown on carbon supports(Pt nanocubes/c) with modulating the kinetic reaction factors for shaping the nanocrystals,but without adding any capping agents for preserving the clean Pt ***-dispersed Pt nanocubes/c shows enhanced activity and long-term stability toward methanol oxidation reaction compared to the commercial Pt/c catalyst.

We described a novel single-cell RNA-seq technique called MR-seq （measure a single-cell transcriptome repeatedly）, which permits statistically assessing the technical variation and identifying the differentially expressed genes between just two single ceils by measuring each single cell twice. We demonstrated that MR-seq gave sensitivity and reproducibility similar to the standard single-cell RNA-seq and increased the positive predicate value, Application of MR-seq to early mouse embryos identified hundreds of candidate intra-embryonic heterogeneous genes among mouse 2-, 4- and 8-cell stage embryos. colloidal solution combustion synthesis(cScS)is a simple and easy method for mass-production of crystalline nanomaterials with tunable pore *** this work,mesoporous Mn/ceO_(2) catalysts were fabricated via cScS method coupled with a dip-coating process and used for photocatalytic oxidation(PcO)of *** vacuum ultraviolet(VUV)irradiation,a high toluene removal efficiency of about 92%was achieved with a toluene reaction rate of about 118μmol/g/h in a continuous flow reactor.A possible degradation pathway was proposed based on the analysis of intermediates by Fourier transform infrared photoluminescence spectra(FTIR)and *** temperature-programmed reduction(h_(2)-TPR),Brunauer-Emmett-Teller(BET)surface areas,photoluminescence spectra(PL)spectra and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)were carried out to analyze physical and chemical properties of the *** with Mn_(x)ce_(1-x)O_(2) catalysts synthesized by one step cScS method,Mn/ceO_(2) has a higher photocatalytic activity,which is attributed to the presence of higher contents of ce^(3+),Mn^(2+)and Mn^(3+)*** presence of higher contents of these species plays a key role in the activity enhancement of toluene oxidation and ozone *** method is facile,efficient and scalable,and it may become a promising industrial application technology for catalyst synthesis in the near future.

In human, the development of endometrium is regulated by steroid hormones and the endometrial lining undergoes cyclical morphological changes every 28 days. Soon after fertilization, the developing embryo transverses to the fallopian tube and implants onto the endometriumn on days 19-24 of the menstrual cycle. This narrow period of time is commonly known as "receptive window".

AIM: To investigate the effectiveness of 4 d' anti-helicobacter pylori therapy on the h pylori-infected Mongolian gerbils based on physiological and pathological changes. METhODS: We used 6-wk-old male gerbils orally inoculated with h pylori (ATcc43504, 2×108 cFU/mL). Seven weeks after h pylori inoculation, the animals of study group received 4 d' anti-h pylori triple therapy (h pylori-eradicated group). Seven days later, all animals of the h pylori-eradicated and control groups (h pylori-infected & h pylori-uninfected groups) were sacrificed. We examined gastric mucosal lesions macroscopically, studied gastritis microscopically and determined the stomach weight ratio, myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity and prostaglandin (PG) E2 level. RESULTS: The results showed that both macroscopic and histological gastric damages were significantly less in h pylori-eradicated group than h pylori-infected group. Stomach weight ratio, MPO activity and PGE2 levels were significantly higher in h pylori-infected group than those in the other two groups. cONcLUSION: Four days' anti-h pylori therapy was effective in the improvement of h pylori-induced gastric lesions in Mongolian gerbils.
