The multiple-order line rogue wave solutions method is emp loyed for searching the multiple soliton solutions for the generalized(2+1)-dimensional Camassa-HolmKadomtsev-Petviashvili(CHKP)equation,which contains first-order,second-order,and third-order waves *** the critical point,the second-order derivative and Hessian matrix for only one point will be investigated and the lump solution has one minimum *** the case,the lump solution will be shown the bright-dark lump structure and for another case can be present the dark lump structure-two small peaks and one deep ***,the interaction of lump with periodic waves and the interaction between lump and soliton can be obtained by introducing the Hirota *** the meanwhile,the cross-kink wave and periodic wave solutions can be gained by the Hirota *** physical phenomena of these gained multiple soliton solutions are analyzed and indicated in figures by selecting suitable *** alternative offer that the determining method is general,impressive,outspoken,and powerful and can be exerted to create exact solutions of various kinds of nonlinear models originated in mathematical physics and engineering.

Donors for Resistance to Brown Planthopper Nilaparvata lugens(St?l) from Wild Rice Species

Out of 1 989 wild accessions sown in seed boxes for screening, only 1 003 wild accessions with good germination were screened against brown planthopper(BPH), Nilaparvata lugens(St?l) under greenhouse conditions. The collection comprised of accessions from 11 wild species and African cultivated rice. The germplasm was screened for BPH following standard seed box screening technique in the greenhouse. As many as 159 accessions were identified as resistant during the year 2012 based on one year screening. A selected set of BPH resistant accessions were screened again during 2013. Based on the two years screening, seven accessions of O. nivara(AA), one accession of O. officinalis(CC), seven accessions of O. australiensis(EE), five accessions of O. punctata(BB and BBCC) and nine accessions of O. latifolia(CCDD) were confirmed to be resistant to BPH. So far no BPH resistance genes have been identified and designated from O. nivara and O. punctata, hence these may act as new sources of resistance.

Age-related macular degeneration（AMD） is a leading cause of blindness and is becoming a global crisis since affected people will increase to 288 million by ***,age,diabetes,gender,obesity,hypertension,race,hyperopia,iris-color,smoking,sun-light and pyroptosis have varying roles in AMD,but oxidative stress-induced inflammation remains a significant driver of *** is a unique organ as it contains a remarkable oxygengradient that generates reactive oxygen species（ROS） which upregulates inflammatory *** becomes a source of functional and morphological impairments in retinal pigment epithelium（RPE）,endothelial cells and retinal ganglion *** demonstrated that hydrogen sulfide（H2S） acts as a signaling molecule and that it may treat ***,we propose a novel hypothesis that H2S may restore homeostasis in the eyes thereby reducing damage caused by oxidative injury and *** H_2S has been shown to be a powerful antioxidant because of its free-radicals＇ inhibition properties in addition to its beneficial effects in age-relatedconditions,therefore,patients may benefit from H2S salubrious effects not only by minimizing their oxidant and inflammatory injuries to retina but also by lowering retinal glutamate excitotoxicity.

Imaging-based algorithmic approach to gallbladder wall thickening

Gallbladder(GB) wall thickening is a frequent finding caused by a spectrum of conditions. It is observed in many extracholecystic as well as intrinsic GB conditions. GB wall thickening can either be diffuse or focal. Diffuse wall thickening is a secondary occurrence in both extrinsic and intrinsic pathologies of GB, whereas, focal wall thickening is mostly associated with intrinsic GB pathologies. In the absence of specific clinical features, accurate etiological diagnosis can be challenging. The survival rate in GB carcinoma(GBC) can be improved if it is diagnosed at an early stage, especially when the tumor is confined to the wall. The pattern of wall thickening in GBC is often confused with benign diseases, especially chronic cholecystitis, xanthogranulomatous cholecystitis, and adenomyomatosis. Early recognition and differentiation of these conditions can improve the prognosis. In this minireview, the authors describe the patterns of abnormalities on various imaging modalities(conventional as well as advanced) for the diagnosis of GB wall thickening. This paper also illustrates an algorithmic approach for the etiological diagnosis of GB wall thickening and suggests a formatted reporting for GB wall abnormalities.

A Kunitz trypsin inhibitor from chickpea (<i>Cicer arietinum</i>L.) that exerts an antimicrobial effect on Fusarium oxysporum ***. ciceris

Fusarium oxysporum ***. ciceris (Foc) is one of the most important fungal pathogens of chickpea and is regarded as a constant threat in tropical and subtropical countries. In order to correlate Fusarium wilt resistance/susceptibility in Cicer arietinum to the presence or absence of trypsin inhibitor (TI) in the crude extract, trypsin inhibitory assay (TIA) and in vitro activity of TI against Foc were studied. In the present study, a 20 kDa trypsin inhibitor was purified from Fusarium wilt resistant cultivar (viz. JG 2001-12) by ammonium sulfate precipitation, dialysis and chromatographies with Sephadex G-100 and Diethyl aminoethyl cellulose (DEAE-cellulose-52) ion-exchange column. Results of pathogenecity assay were found to be in correlation to the trypsin inhibitor assay where the Fusarium wilt resistant cultivar showed high trypsin inhibitory activity (99%) in the presence of trypsin enzyme using both natural and synthetic substrates. Preliminary studies using crude extracts of JG 2001-12 showed a decrease in radial growth of Foc. A 45%-82% reduction in conidium germination at 20 μg·mL-1?Cicer arietinum trypsin inhibitor (CaTI) concentration was observed, thereby, indicating the use of CaTI in suppression of pathogen and in its deployment through transgenic plants for the management of Fusarium wilt.

Primary biliary cirrhosis in India

BACKGROUND: Primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) is a rare cause of chronic liver disease in India. We analyzed the clinical, biochemical, serological and histological features of patients with PBC for over a 10-year period. METHODS: PBC was diagnosed by the presence of raised level of serum alkaline phosphatase (ALP), anti-mitochondrial antibody (AMA) positivity (1:40 dilution), and/or diagnostic liver histology. RESULTS:Fifteen female patients with mean age of 46.5±11 years were studied. Pruritis (80%) followed by jaundice (67%), skin changes (pigmentation, coarsening, xanthelesma and vitiligo) (67%) and fatigue (60%) were common symptoms. The mean duration of the symptoms was 3.5± 5.4 years (3 months to 20 years). Dryness of eyes was observed in only 2 patients. Hepatomegaly was noted in 87% of the patients and ascites at presentation in 40%. Mean levels of bilirubin and albumin at the time of diagnosis were 3.4±3.3 mg/dl and 3.5±0.8 g/dl, respectively. The level of serum ALP ranged from 54 to 2400 IU/L, with a median being 552 IU/L (2×ULN). In all the 15 patients with AMA positive, 8(53%) were also positive for either anti-nuclear or anti-smooth muscle antibodies. Two patients presented with persistently elevated SAP after an acute hepatitic illness. Liver biopsy was available in 13 patients, diagnostic of PBC Ⅱ & Ⅲ(8) and with evidence of cirrhosis (5). Associated autoimmune disorders were observed in 5 patients (33%). The mean time for follow-up was 26±21 months (1 to 87 months). In 4 deaths, 3 were due to liver related causes. CONCLUSION: PBC is a rare cause of chronic liver disease in India. PBC in India, unlike in the West, presents late, often with features of cirrhosis and decompensation.

Hydrogen sulfide intervention in cystathionine-β-synthase mutant mouse helps restore ocular homeostasis

AIM: To investigate the applications of hydrogen sulfide(H2 S) in eye-specific ailments in ***: Heterozygous cystathionine-β-synthase(CBS+/-) and wild-type C57 BL/6 J(WT) mice fed with or without high methionine diet(HMD) were administered either phosphate buffered saline(PBS) or the slow-release H2 S donor: GYY4137. Several analyses were performed to study GYY4137 effects by examining retinal lysates for key protein expressions along with plasma glutamate and glutathione estimations. Intraocular pressure(IOP) was monitored during GYY4137 treatment; barium sulfate and bovine serum albumin conjugated fluorescein isothiocyanate(BSA-FITC) angiographies were performed for examining vasculature and its permeability post-treatment. Visionguided behavior was also tested employing novel object recognition test(NORT) and light-dark box test(LDBT) ***: CBS deficiency(CBS+/-) coupled with HMD led disruption of methionine/homocysteine(Hcy) metabolism leading to hyperhomocysteinemia(HHcy) in CBS+/-mice as reflected by increased Hcy, and s-adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase(SAHH) levels. Unlike CBS, cystathionine-γ lyase(CSE), methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR) levels which were reduced but compensated by GYY4137intervention. Heightened oxidative and endoplasmic reticulum(ER) stress responses were mitigated by GYY4137 effects along with enhanced glutathione(GSH) levels. Increased glutamate levels in CBS+/-strain were prominent than WT mice and these mice also exhibited higher IOP that was lowered by GYY4137 treatment. CBS deficiency also resulted in vision-guided behavioral impairment as revealed by NORT and LDBT findings. Interestingly, GYY4137 was able to improve CBS+/-mice behavior together with lowering their glutamate levels. Blood-retinal barrier(BRB) appeared compromised in CBS+/-with vessels' leakage that was mitigated in GYY4137 treated group. Effect of Gossypol on Bovine Blastocyst Attachment and Trophoblastic outgrowth in Vitro

The presont study was carried out to investigate the effect of different amounts of gossypol on bovineblastocyst attachment and trophoblastic outgrowth in vitro. Bovine oocyte were collected from theovaries of slaughtered cows and were matured and fertilized in vitro. Cleaved oocyte were culturedin CRlaa + BOEC and TC-199 + 10% FCS combined in an 1:1 ratio. After 8 days of co-culture,the hatched blastocysts were randomly allotted to different treatment groups. All were cultured ona fetal fibroblast monolaycr (prepared from bovine fetuses) in TC-199 culture medium supplementedwith 10% fetal calf serum (TCFCS). But the groups differed from one another in the dose ofgossypol given: 0.01 μg, 0.1 μg, 1 μg, 10 μs/ml, and no gossypol as control. All cultures wereperformed in 24-well culture plates at 39℃ with 5% CO_2 in air. The results indicate that the ratesof attached and outgrowing blastocysts in the medium containing 1 μg/ml gossypol were significantlylowcr than the control group (p<0.01) and outgrowth were inhibited by gossypol in a dose-dependent manner.
