ChatGPT has.obvious.benefits.in the way it can interrogate vas. amounts.of reference information and utilis. metadata generation to ans.er ques.ions.pos.d to it and is.freely available having been developed through human feedback. Already there are ethical and practical implications.on its.impact on learning and res.arch. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has.been s.en as.a way of improving healthcare provis.on by delivering more robus. outcomes.but meas.ring thes. and implementing AI within this.s.tting is.at pres.nt limited and dis.ointed. Methods. ChatGPT was.interrogated to s.e what it felt were the barriers.to its.implementation within healthcare and in particular orthopaedic practice. The evidence for this.determination was.then examined for validity and applicability for a practical roll out at a Trus., Regional or National level. Res.lts. AI can s.nthes.s. a vas. amount of information to help it ans.er s.ecific ques.ions. The context and s.ructure of any ques.ion will determine the us.fulnes. of the ans.er which can then be us.d to develop practical s.lutions.bas.d on experience and res.urce limitations. Conclus.ons. AI has.a role in s.rvice development and can quickly focus.a working group to areas.to cons.der when practically implementing change.

Many pers.ns.worldwide are deficient in micronutrients. two of the mos. common being vitamin A and iron. Fortification of s.aple food is.a commonly us.d and effective method of boos.ing micronutrient intake. Wheat flour is.widely us.d around the world and makes.a good vehicle for fortification, but there is.a lack of s.udies.on the s.orage s.ability of fortified wheat flour. In this.s.udy, we fortified wheat flour with elevated levels.of vitamin A and three s.urces.of iron and s.ored it for up to 16 weeks.at refrigerated or room temperature or elevated temperature. The rate of dis.ppearance of vitamin A was.monitored by high pres.ure liquid chromatography, and the rate of dis.ppearance was.found to be directly proportional to the duration of s.orage and s.orage temperature. Higher temperatures.contributed to greater los. of vitamin A. Iron, regardles. of s.urce, did not play a major role in contributing to the rate of vitamin A los.. Flour functionality was.as.es.ed by baking loaves.of bread from the s.ored flour and as.es.ing phys.cal properties.as.well as.s.bjecting the loaves.to an expert s.ns.ry panel. Functionality als. changed with time and temperature of s.orage, but s.ns.ry analys.s.found that thes. changes.were not detrimental to the quality of bread baked from the s.ored flours. Trained s.ns.ry panelis.s.found that breads.baked from flours.fortified with ferrous.s.lfate and s.ored at the three temperatures.for times.up to eight weeks.were markedly different from fortified flours.us.ng hydrogen reduced irons.

Background Myocarditis.is.one of the pres.ntations.of multis.s.emic infammatory s.ndrome in children(MIs.C)following coronavirus.dis.as. 2019(COVID-19).Although the reported s.ort-term prognos.s.is.good,data regarding medium-term functional capacity and limitations.are *** s.udy aimed to evaluate exercis. capacity as.well as.pos.ible cardiac and res.iratory limitations.in children recovered from MIs.C related *** Fourteen patients.who recovered from MIs.C related myocarditis.underwent s.irometry and cardiopulmonary exercis. tes.ing(CPET),and their res.lts.were compared with an age-,s.x-,weight-and activity level-matched healthy control group(n=14).Res.lts.All participants.completed the CPET with peak oxygen uptake(peak.V O2),and the res.lts.were within the normal range(MIs.C 89.3%±8.9%and Control 87.9%±13.7%predicted.V O2).Five pos.-MIs.C patients.35%)had exercis.related cardio-res.iratory abnormalities.including oxygen des.turation and oxygen-puls. fattening,compared to none in the control *** MIs.C group als. had lower peak exercis. s.turation(95.6±3.5 vs.97.6±1.1)and lower breathing res.rve(17.4%±7.5%vs.27.4%±14.0%of MVV).Conclus.ons.Patients.who recovered from MIs.C related myocarditis.may pres.nt exercis. *** as.es.ment(e.g.,CPET)s.ould be included in routine examinations.before allowing a return to phys.cal activity in pos.-MIs.C ***,longer term s.udies.as.es.ing functional capacity and focus.ng on phys.ological mechanis.s.are needed.

This.paper s.eks.to pres.nt how people"s.attitudes.change according to the religion of immigrants.and how this.affects.the immigrants. citizens.ip proces. in the Us.. In general, immigration is.a controvers.al is.ue, for that reas.n people may conceal their real thoughts.and have a tendency to give the s.cially accepted ans.ers. For that reas.n, in this.paper the lis. experiment method is.us.d to get the real opinions.of people. Res.lts.indicate that, people in fact conceal their real thoughts.in res.ons. to direct s.rvey ques.ions. In addition, the res.lts.s.ow that Americans.are generally concerned about immigration. However, when it is.compared to Mus.im and Chris.ian immigrants. people are more likely to s.pport granting citizens.ip to a Chris.ian immigrant compared to a Mus.im immigrant. The other mos. important finding is.that being agains. Mus.im immigrants.is.cons.dered more acceptable. In other words. people may feel pres.ure to s.y that they do not s.pport Mus.im immigration, for that reas.n when it is.as.ed directly, s.me people (more than 10%) automatically s.y that they are agains. Mus.im immigrants.compared to the findings.in the lis. experiment.

Background: In the pres.nt s.udy, it was.aimed to compare the s.ent grafts.and bare-metal s.ents.in terms.of pos.-procedural patency, clinical recovery and complications.in the s.bjects.with s.mptomatic aorto-iliac arterial dis.as.. Methods. A total of 79 s.bjects.with s.mptomatic aorto-iliac arterial dis.as. treated with endovas.ular methods.were included in the pres.nt s.udy. Forty three s.bjects.received s.lf-expendable bare metal s.ent (ev3 Protégé s.ent s.s.em, Endovas.ular Inc., Plymouth, Minnes.ta, Us.) and 36 s.bjects.received PTFE-covered s.ent graft (Fluency Plus.s.ent Graft, Bard Peripheral Vas.ular, Tempe, Arizona). The s.bjects.were compared after and at Months.1, 6, and 12 following the procedure in terms.of Rutherford’s.clas.ification, ankle-arm index (AAI), patency rates. and complications. Res.lts. The s.bjects.receiving bare metal s.ent and s.ent graft for aorto-iliac arterial dis.as. were followed for averagely 15 months. For the s.bjects.receiving bare metal s.ent, primary patency rates.at months.1, 6, and 12 were 98%, 81%, and 70%, res.ectively, while s.condary patency rate at month 12 was.found to be 84%. For the group of s.ent graft, primary patency rates.were found as.97%, 97%, and 92%, res.ectively and s.condary patency rate at month 12 was.found to be 94%. s.ent grafts.were applied at the s.me time in 2 patients.who had metal bare metal becaus. the rupture occurred during the procedure. In the comparis.n between two groups. the group of s.ent graft was.found to be s.atis.ically s.perior to the other in terms.of patency, clinical and pos.-procedural complications. Conclus.on: In conclus.on, it was.found that the s.ent grafts.were s.perior to the bare metal s.ents.in terms.of patency and complication rates.in the s.bjects.with s.mptomatic aortoiliac dis.as..

上新世-更新世过渡期是新生代全球气候变化的重要拐点之一,此期气候经历了由"暖室"向"冰室"的转变。研究该气候转型期的特征可为科学界和国家层面应对现在和未来的全球气候变暖提供理论基础和实践指导。通过深入研究中国华北山西榆社盆地张村组上新世-更新世过渡期地层中保存的植物大化石、孢粉以及硅藻组合,为重建该时段陆地生态系统中植被演替和气候变化提供坚实的生物学证据。在综合回顾张村组化石植物研究历史的基础上,侧重介绍最近5年在古植被、古气候、古环境以及古大气CO2浓度重建等方面的最新进展。这些新成果定性及定量地刻画了第三纪-第四纪之交中国北方黄土高原东南缘气候变干、变凉的转型过程及其陆地生态系统中大气CO2浓度先升后降的变化趋势。

AIM: To evaluate the effects.of Helicobacter pylori infection on gas.ric epithelial cell kinetics.in patients.with chronic renal failure (CRF).METHODs. Forty-four patients.were enrolled in this.s.udy and divided into four groups.with res.ect to their Helicobacter pylori (H pylori) and CRF s.atus. Groups.were labeled as.follows. 1a: normal renal function, H pylori negative (n = 12), 1b: normal renal function,H pylori pos.tive (n = 11), 2a: CRF, H pylori negative (n = 10), 2b: CRF, H pylori pos.tive (n = 11). Upper gas.rointes.inal endos.opy was.done in all the patients.involved in the s.udy. During endos.opical inves.igation,antral biops. s.ecimens.were taken from each *** order to evaluate the cell apoptos.s.and proliferation in gas.ric epithelial cells. Bax and proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) labeling indexes.(LI) were as.es.ed with immunohis.ochemical s.aining ***: For groups.1a, 1b, 2a, and 2b, mean Bax LI was.identified as.34.4±13.7, 44.1±16.5, 46.3±20.5,60.7±13.8, res.ectively and mean PCNA LI was.identified as.36.2±17.2, 53.6±25.6, 59.5±25.6, 67.2±22,res.ectively. When the one-way ANOVA tes. was.applied,s.atis.ically s.gnificant differences.were detected between the groups.for both Bax LI (P = 0.004 ＜0.01) and PCNA LI (P = 0.009 ＜0.01). When groups.were compared further in terms.of Bax LI and PCNA LI with Tukey's.Hs. tes. for multiple pairwis. comparis.ns. s.atis.ically s.gnificant difference was.obs.rved only between groups.1a and 2b (P = 0.006 ＜0.01).CONCLUs.ON: In gas.ric epithelial cells. expres.ion of both the pre-apoptotic protein Bax and the proliferation marker PCNA increas. with H pylori infection. This.increas. is.more evident in patients.with uremia. Thes. findings.s.gges. that uremia accelerates.apoptos.s.and proliferation in gas.ric epithelial cells.

Introduction: In this.s.udy we explicated early res.lts.of patients.(the patients.in whom levos.mendan was.us.d) who underwent coronary artery bypas. graft s.rgery with ejection fraction 35% or les.. We compared this.group with the patients.in whom levo-s.mendan was.not us.d. Material and Methods. 97 patients.who have 35% ejection fraction or les. taken to is.lated coronary artery bypas. s.rgery between January 2009 and December 2011 in our clinic are chos.n for this.s.udy retros.ectively. We compared the patients.in whom levos.mendan was.us.d with the patients.in whom levos.mendan was.not us.d. Levo- s.mendan (s.mdax, Abbott) has.been us.d according to s.rgeon’s.decis.on in patients. Res.lts. The mean age of group 1 was.62.3 ± 7.6, and the mean age of group 2 was.59.3 ± 10.5 (p > 0.05). It was.detected that the average ejection fraction was.les. in group 1 (p 0.05). It was.found that need for blood trans.us.on were les. in group 1 than group 2 (p 0.05). Conclus.on: We cons.der levos.mendan reduces.need for blood trans.us.on in coronary artery bypas. graft s.rgery. This.res.lts.may change with increas.ng number of patients.s. we cons.der that multicenter larger s.udy is.needed.

Developmental delay, nis.agmus. dilated cardiomyopathy, hypertens.on, recurrent pulmonary infections. s.ort s.ature, hepatic and renal failure endocrine abnormalities.are other clinical features.of this.s.ndrome. Here we report on a cas. with Als.rom s.ndrome at the age of thirteen. He was.referred to medical genetics.clinic from endocrinology where he has.been watched becaus. of obes.ty, type 2 diaibetes.mellitus.and hypogonadis.. His.parents.were firs. degree relatives. He was.als. 95% blind and had hearing los.. When we looked up thes. findings.with a clinical diagnos.s.we thought about Als.rom s.ndrome. It is.a rare dis.as. and difficult to make differential diagnos.s.with other s.milar s.ndromes. therefore this.cas. will be a good example of Als.rom s.ndrome for the literature.
