Ecological conservation, remediation and construction for building an ecological civilization in China: concepts for ecological activity

This paper explains and discusses the concepts of ecological conservation and construction in China in three parts. The first part provides a brief description of the historical background of ecological activities in China and their major achievements in the past. The second part is a comprehensive review of various types of ecological control activity aimed at the improvement of natural and artificially established ecosystems at the landscape,regional(watershed) and higher levels. The scope of and differences between some ecological terms used in China such as ecological protection, conservation, remediation(rehabilitation), restoration as well as the reestablishment of new ecosystems are elaborated. The review suggests that the term "ecological conservation and construction"should be used to embrace all types of ecological control activity in China. Finally, five guidelines are proposed for promoting the implementation of ecological conservation and construction in China based on the two important governmental documents related to the development of ecological civilization in China.

To develop a biodegradable membrane with guided bone regeneration(GBR),a Mg-2.0Zn-1.0Gd alloy(wt.%,MZG)membrane with Ca-P coating was designed and fabricated in this *** microstructure,hydrophilicity,in vitro degradation,cytotoxicity,antibacterial effect and in vivo regenerative performance for the membrane with and without Ca-P coating were *** coating,the membrane exhibited an enhance hydrophilicity and corrosion resistance,showed good in vitro cytocompatibility upon MC3T3E-1 cells,and exhibited excellent antibacterial effect against ***,Staphylococcus epidermis and Staphylococcus aureus,*** vivo experiment using the rabbit calvarial defect model confirmed that Ca-P coated MZG membrane underwent progressive degradation without inflammatory reaction and significantly improved the new bone formation at both 1.5 and 3 months after the *** the results strongly indicate that MZG with Ca-P coating have great potential for clinical application as GBR membranes.

Personalized precision therapy and rapid osseointegration are the main development directions of dental implants.3 D printing is a vital advanced manufacturing technology for personalized precision ***,the osteogenesis of the 3 D printed Ti6 Al4 V implants is *** the bionic perspective,the hierarchical micro/nano-topography can mimic the microenvironment of the multilevel structure of natural bone tissue and may endow the implant surface with superior *** the present study,the hierarchical micro/nano-topography was successfully fabricated by construction the nanoscale feature on 3 D printed microscale roughness surface of 3 D-printed Ti6 Al4 V implants by alkali-heat treatment and hydrothermal *** the cell biological responses in vitro and osseointegration performance in vivo were systematically *** hierarchical micro/nano-topography evidently increased the roughness,improved the hydrophilicity and accelerated the hydroxyapatite deposition and mineralization,which significantly enhanced the adhesion,differentiation and extracellular matrix mineralization of bone marrow derived mesenchymal stromal cells(BMSCs).Most importantly,the hierarchical micro/nano-topography on 3 D-printed implants facilitated the new bone formation and rapid osseointegration in *** study suggested that 3 D-printed implant with micro/nano-topography may be a promising candidate to be applied in orthopedic field to meet the need of customized therapy and rapid osseointegration.

Genetic studies have revealed a critical role of Distal-homeobox (Dlx) genes in bone formation,and our previous study showed that Dlx2 overexpressing in neural crest cells leads to profound abnormalities of the craniofacial *** aim of this study was to investigate the role and the underlying molecular mechanisms of Dlx2 in osteogenic differentiation of mouse bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) and pre-osteoblast MC3T3-E1 ***,we observed upregulation of Dlx2 during the early osteogenesis in BMSCs and MC3T3-E1 ***,Dlx2 overexpression enhanced alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity and extracellular matrix mineralization in BMSCs and MC3T3-E1 cell *** addition,micro-CT of implanted tissues in nude mice confirmed that Dlx2 overexpression in BMSCs promoted bone formation in ***,Dlx2 overexpression had little impact on the expression level of the pivotal osteogenic transcription factors Runx2,Dlx5,Msx2,and Osterix,but led to upregulation of Alp and Osteocalcin (OCN),both of which play critical roles in promoting osteoblast ***,luciferase analysis showed that Dlx2 overexpression stimulated both OCN and Alp promoter *** chromatin-immunoprecipitation assay and site-directed mutagenesis analysis,we provide molecular evidence that Dlx2 transactivates OCN and Alp expression by directly binding to the Dlx2-response cis-acting elements in the promoter of the two *** on these findings,we demonstrate that Dlx2 overexpression enhances osteogenic differentiation in vitro and accelerates bone formation in vivo via direct upregulation of the OCN and Alp gene,suggesting that Dlx2 plays a crucial role in osteogenic differentiation and bone formation.

We propose a major upgrade to the existing PandaX-4T experiment at the China Jinping Underground *** new experiment,PandaX-xT,will be a multi-ten-tonne liquid xenon,ultra-low background,and general-purpose *** full-scaled PandaX-xT contains a 43-t liquid xenon active *** an experiment will significantly advance our fundamental understanding of particle physics and *** sensitivity of dark matter direct detection will be improved by nearly two orders of magnitude compared to the current best limits,approaching the so-called“neutrino floor”for a dark matter mass above 10 GeV/c^(2),providing a key test to the Weakly Interacting Massive Particle *** searching for the neutrinoless double beta decay of^(136)Xe isotope in the detector,the effective Majorana neutrino mass can be measured to a 10-41 meV/c^(2) sensitivity,providing a key test to the Dirac/Majorana nature of *** neutrinos and other ultra-rare interactions can also be measured and searched for with an unprecedented background level,opening up new windows of *** on the findings,PandaX-xT will seek the next stage upgrade utilizing isotopic separation of natural xenon.

类型电影的研究关键是如何认识这一复杂的电影现象,本文试图从三个方面建构类型电影的新观念。首先,类型电影可以看成是一个由观念与范式集合而成的惯例系统,每一种类型必定具有“祖性”的特征。其次,类型电影的“类”具有相对性,不可能完全排除不同类型电影之间存在着彼此边缘覆盖的可能性。再次,类型电影不应被视为一个在形态学意义上的完全封闭的系统,而是在一种标准化运作中不断发展、变化的开放性系统。
