High-capacity nickel-rich layered oxides are promising cathode materials for high-energy-density lithium ***,the poor structural stability and severe side reactions at the electrode/electrolyte interface result in unsatisfactory cycle ***,the thin layer of two-dimensional(2D)graphitic carbon-nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))is uniformly coated on the LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(denoted as NCM811@CN)using a facile chemical vaporization-assisted synthesis *** an ideal protective layer,the g-C_(3)N_(4)layer effectively avoids direct contact between the NCM811 cathode and the electrolyte,preventing harmful side reactions and inhibiting secondary crystal ***,the unique nanopore structure and abundant nitrogen vacancy edges in g-C_(3)N_(4)facilitate the adsorption and diffusion of lithium ions,which enhances the lithium deintercalation/intercalation kinetics of the NCM811 *** a result,the NCM811@CN-3wt%cathode exhibits 161.3 mAh g^(−1)and capacity retention of 84.6%at 0.5 C and 55°C after 400 cycles and 95.7 mAh g^(−1)at 10 C,which is greatly superior to the uncoated NCM811(i.e.129.3 mAh g^(−1)and capacity retention of 67.4%at 0.5 C and 55°C after 220 cycles and 28.8 mAh g^(−1)at 10 C).The improved cycle performance of the NCM811@CN-3wt%cathode is also applicable to solid–liquid-hybrid cells composed of PVDF:LLZTO electrolyte membranes,which show 163.8 mAh g^(−1)and the capacity retention of 88.1%at 0.1 C and 30°C after 200 cycles and 95.3 mAh g^(−1)at 1 C.

A stable and highly active core‐shell heterostructure electrocatalyst is essential for catalyzing oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Here,a dual‐trimetallic core‐shell heterostructure OER electrocatalyst that consists of a NiFeWS_(2)inner core and an amorphous NiFeW(OH)_(z)outer shell is designed and synthesized using in situ electrochemical *** electrochemical measurements of different as‐synthesized catalysts with a similar mass loading suggest that the core‐shell Ni_(0.66)Fe_(0.17)W_(0.17)S_(2)@amorphous NiFeW(OH)_(z)nanosheets exhibit the highest overall performance compared with that of other bimetallic reference catalysts for the ***,the nanosheet arrays were in situ grown on hydrophilic‐treated carbon paper to fabricate an integrated three‐dimensional electrode that affords a current density of 10 mA cm^(−2)at a small overpotential of 182 mV and a low Tafel slope of 35 mV decade^(−1)in basic *** Faradaic efficiency of core‐shell Ni_(0.66)Fe_(0.17)W_(0.17)S_(2)@amorphous NiFeW(OH)_(z)is as high as 99.5%for *** scanning electron microscope,transmission electron microscope,and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy analyses confirm that this electrode has excellent stability in morphology and elementary composition after long‐term electrochemical ***,density functional theory calculations further indicate that the core‐shell heterojunction increased the conductivity of the catalyst,optimized the adsorption energy of the OER intermediates,and improved the OER *** study provides a universal strategy for designing more active core‐shell structure electrocatalysts based on the rule of coordinated regulation between electronic transport and active sites.

In order to address the challenge of non-destructive detection of tomato fruit ripeness in controlled environments,this study proposed a real-time instance segmentation method based on the edge *** method combined the principles of phenotype robots and machine vision based on deep learning.A compact and remotely controllable phenotype detection robot was employed to acquire precise data on tomato *** video data were then processed by using an efficient backbone and the FeatFlowNet structure for feature extraction and analysis of key-frame to non-key-frame mapping from video *** enhance the diversity of training datasets and the generalization of the model,an innovative approach was chosen by using random enhancement ***,the PolyLoss optimization technique was applied to further improve the accuracy of the ripeness multi-class detection *** validation,the method of this study achieved real-time processing speeds of 90.1 fps(RTX 3070Ti)and 65.5 fps(RTX 2060 S),with an average detection accuracy of 97%compared to manually measured *** is more accurate and efficient than other instance segmentation models according to actual testing in a ***,the results of this research can be deployed in edge devices and provide technical support for unmanned greenhouse monitoring devices or fruit-picking robots in facility environments.

Mounting evidence suggests that strategies combining DNA-damaging agents and stimulator of interferon genes(STING) agonists are promising cancer therapeutic regimens because they can amplify STING activation and remodel the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment. However, a single molecular entity comprising both agents has not yet been developed. Herein, we designed two PtIV-MSA-2 conjugates(Ⅰand Ⅱ) containing the DNA-damaging chemotherapeutic drug cisplatin and the innate immuneactivating STING agonist MSA-2; these conjugates showed great potential as multispecific small-molecule drugs against pancreatic cancer. Mechanistic studies revealed that conjugate Ⅰ upregulated the expression of transcripts associated with innate immunity and metabolism in cancer cells, significantly differing from cisplatin and MSA-2. An analysis of the tumor microenvironment demonstrated that conjugate I could enhance the infiltration of natural killer(NK) cells into tumors and promote the activation of T cells, NK cells and dendritic cells in tumor tissues. These findings indicated that conjugate I, which was created by incorporating a Pt chemotherapeutic drug and STING agonist into one molecule, is a promising and potent anticancer drug candidate, opening new avenues for small-molecule-based cancer metalloimmunotherapy.

The associations of individual amino acid with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)risk remained *** present study aimed to investigate the associations between the two in the Chinese ***:A community-based health check-up program was conducted in Qingdao,*** was diagnosed by ultrasonography accompanied by epidemiological *** dietary intakes of amino acids were investigated with 3-day,24-h dietary records and calculated by Nutrition Calculator *** cubic spline model was used to evaluate a nonlinear relationship between amino acid intake and NAFLD ***:400 NAFLD subjects were identified,and 400 participants were randomly selected as controls and matched by gender and age(±3 years)Dose-response analysis showed that 1000 mg increment of aromatic amino acids(AAAs)was associated with reduced 16%risk of *** increments of 750 mg/d threonine,950 mg/d valine,or 1700 mg/d lysine were associated with a 20%reduction in the NAFLD risk(all P for linearity<0.05).Conclusion:The present study demonstrated that the dietary increases in milk,eggs and deep-sea fish,which are rich in the amino acids,might contribute to protecting against NAFLD in the elderly.

Tree allometry plays a crucial role in tree survival,stability,and timber quantity and quality of mixed-species ***,the responses of tree allometry to resource utilisation within the framework of interspecific competition and complementarity remain poorly *** into consideration strong-and weakspace competition(SC and WC),as well as N_(2)-fixing and non-N_(2)-fixing tree species(FN and nFN),a mixedspecies planting trial was conducted for Betula alnoides,a pioneer tree species,which was separately mixed with Acacia melanoxylon(SC+FN),Erythrophleum fordii(WC+FN),Eucalyptus cloeziana(SC+nFN)and Pinus kesiya ***(WC+nFN)in southern *** years after planting,tree growth,total nitrogen(N)and carbon(C)contents,and the natural abundances of^(15)N and^(13)C in the leaves were measured for each species,and the mycorrhizal colonisation rates of *** were investigated under each *** variations and their relationships with space competition and nutrient-related factors were *** results showed a consistent effect of space competition on the height-diameter relationship of *** in mixtures with FN or *** tree height growth of *** was significantly promoted under high space competition,and growth in diameter at breast height(DBH),tree height and crown size were all expedited in mixtures with *** symbiotic relationship between ectomycorrhizal fungi and *** was significantly influenced by both space competition and N_(2) fixation by the accompanying tree species,whereas such significant effects were absent for arbuscular mycorrhizal ***,high space competition significantly decreased the water use efficiency(WUE)of ***,and its N use efficiency(NUE)was much lower in the FN *** equation modeling further demonstrated that the stem allometry of *** was affected by its NUE and WUE via changes in its height growth,and crown allometry was influ

Photocatalytic aerobic oxidation desulfurization(PAODS)is a promising and sustainable alternative to conventional,energyintensive desulfurization techniques for petroleum ***,its development is greatly plagued by the low capability in generating highly reactive oxygen species and sluggish kinetics of sulfide oxidation of reported *** we report a class of MoO_(x)nanocluster decorated on ultrathin Mo-doped TiO_(2)nanosheet(MoO_(x)/MoTiO)catalyst for efficiently facilitating the photocatalytic aerobic oxidation of *** demonstrate that MoO_(x)/MoTiO can not only promote the generation of highly reactive singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2))but also enhance the aerobic conversion of sulfides,which leads to a record dibenzothiophene oxidation activity of 3.90 mmol g^(-1)h^(-1).The multiple experimental characterizations and density functional theory calculations collectively reveal that the doped-Mo sites can interact with the photogenerated excitons,enabling directly energy transfer generation of^(1)O_(2)through a new exciton modulation mechanism,and the coordination unsaturated MoO_(x)clusters play the role of co-catalyst to enhance the separation of charge carriers,and effectively catalyze the reaction between sulfides and1O_(2)to form sulfones.

Aging is related to physiological decline and the development of chronic diseases,yet molecular changes and mechanisms underlying the aging process remain *** certain“dark matter”,such as transposable elements with viral origins in the genome,be activated and participate in the aging process?Excitingly,a study by Liu and colleagues revealed that the reactivation of endogenous retroviruses(ERVs)during aging enhances senescence[1].By using cross-species models and multiple techniques,the team uncovered the unusual role of ERV reactivation as a hallmark and driver of *** authors identified that ERV expression is associated with cellular and tissue aging(Fig.1).They found that the accumulation of human ERV group K(HERVK)retrovirus-like particles(RVLPs)mediates aging-promoting effects in recipient cells.
