The widespread use ofimidacloprid against insect pests has not only increased the rate of the development of target pest resistance but has also resulted in various negative effects on rice plants and Nilaparvata lugens resurgence. However, the effect of imidacloprid on elements in rice plants and the transference of these element changes between rice and N. lugens are currently poorly understood. The present study investigated changes ofCu, Fe, Mn, Zn, Ca, K, Mg and Na contents in rice plants following imidacloprid foliar sprays in the adult female ofN./ugens that develops from nymphs that feed on treated plants and honeydew produced by females. The results indicated that imidacloprid foliar spray significantly increased Fe and K contents in leaf sheaths. Generally, Fe, Mn, K and Na contents in leaf blades were noticeably decreased, but Ca contents in leaf blades for ! 0 and 30 mg/kg imidacloprid treatments were significantly increased. The contents of most elements except K and Mg in the adult females and honeydew were significantly elevated. Multivariate statistical analysis showed that Fe, Mn and Na in leaf blades and Fe and Mn in leaf sheaths could be proportionally transferred to N. lugens. The relationship between most elements in adult female bodies and in the honeydew showed a positive correlation coefficient. There were significant differences in the contents of some elements in rice plants and N. lugens from different regions.

Dark adaptation is a highly sensitive neural function and may be the first symptom of many status including the physiologic and pathologic entity, suggesting that it could be instrumental for diagnose. However, shortcomings such as the lack of standardized parameters, the long duration of examination, and subjective randomness would substantially impede the use of dark adaptation in clinical work. In this review we summarize the recent research about the dark adaptation, including two visual cycles-canonical and cone-specific visual cycle, affecting factors and the methods for measuring dark adaptation. In the opinions of authors, intensive investigations are needed to be done for the widely use of this significant visual function in clinic.

The oxidative dehydrogenation of propane with CO_(2)(CO_(2)-ODP)is a promising technology for the efficient production of propene in tandem with CO_(2)reduction to ***,the rational design of high-performance catalysts for this green process is still challenged by limited understanding of the nature of active sites and the reaction *** this work,the effects of SnO_(2) promoter on Pt/CeO_(2)activity and propene selectivity in CO_(2)-ODP are elucidated through varying the Sn/Pt molar *** the ratio increases,propane conversion gradually decreases,while the propene selectivity *** dependences are explained by increasing the electron density of Pt through the *** strength of this effect is determined by the Sn/Pt *** to the electronic changes of Pt,CO_(2)-ODP becomes more favorable than the undesired CO_(2)reforming of ***-modified Pt–O–Ce bonds are reasonably revealed as the active sites for CO_(2)-ODP occurring through a redox mechanism involving the activation of CO_(2)over oxygen vacancies at Sn-modified Pt and CeO_(2)*** atomic-scale understandings are important guidelines for purposeful development of high-performance Pt-based catalysts for CO_(2)-ODP.

Oilfield analogy and productivity prediction based on machine learning: Field cases in PL oilfield, China

In the early time of oilfield development, insufficient production data and unclear understanding of oil production presented a challenge to reservoir engineers in devising effective development plans. To address this challenge, this study proposes a method using data mining technology to search for similar oil fields and predict well productivity. A query system of 135 analogy parameters is established based on geological and reservoir engineering research, and the weight values of these parameters are calculated using a data algorithm to establish an analogy system. The fuzzy matter-element algorithm is then used to calculate the similarity between oil fields, with fields having similarity greater than 70% identified as similar oil fields. Using similar oil fields as sample data, 8 important factors affecting well productivity are identified using the Pearson coefficient and mean decrease impurity（MDI） method. To establish productivity prediction models, linear regression（LR）, random forest regression（RF）, support vector regression（SVR）, backpropagation（BP）, extreme gradient boosting（XGBoost）, and light gradient boosting machine（Light GBM） algorithms are used. Their performance is evaluated using the coefficient of determination（R2）, explained variance score（EV）, mean squared error（MSE）, and mean absolute error（MAE） metrics. The Light GBM model is selected to predict the productivity of 30 wells in the PL field with an average error of only 6.31%, which significantly improves the accuracy of the productivity prediction and meets the application requirements in the field. Finally, a software platform integrating data query,oil field analogy, productivity prediction, and knowledge base is established to identify patterns in massive reservoir development data and provide valuable technical references for new reservoir development.

Retinitis pigmentosa（RP）is a group of heterogeneous inherited retinal diseases that is characterized by primary death rod photoreceptors and the secondary loss of *** degeneration of cones causes gradual constriction of visual fields,leaving the central islands that are eventually snuffed *** indicate that the hyperoxia causes oxidative damage in the retina and contributes to the cone death of ***,abundant reactive oxidative species（ROS）which are generated in cones may result in mitochondria membrane depolarization,which has been ascribed a central role in the apoptotic process and has been proposed to act as a forward feeding loop for the activation of downstream *** is a potent antioxidant which has been evidenced to be able to counteract oxidative damages,scavenge surplus ROS,and rectify abnormities in the apoptotic *** together with its ability to attenuate inflammation which also contributes to the etiology of RP,it is reasonable to hypothesize that the anthocyanin could act as a novel therapeutic strategy to retard or prevent cone degeneration in RP retinas,particularly if the treatment is timed appropriately and delivered *** pharmacological investigations will identify the anthocyanin as an effective candidate for PR therapy and refinements of that knowledge would ignite the hope of restoring the visual function in RP patients.

Solar vapor generation is a promising sustainable technology that uses solar distillation to produce fresh water from seawater and wastewater,helping relieve global water resource ***,inspired by naturally grown integrally molded mulberry leaves with a Janus hydrophilic and hydrophobic structure,a novel,simple,and efficient integrated molding method is proposed to break through the limitations of the traditional split manufacturing strategy and realizes the integrated formation of Janus *** on the spontaneous sedimentation characteristics of MXene in silk fibroin solution and its regulation of mesoscopic structure and hydrophilicity of silk fibroin,layered structures with different compositions and hydrophilicities were obtained in one ***,ethanol and glutaraldehyde were added to construct a physical crystallization-chemical crosslinking dual stabilization structure in silk *** evaporator has the evaporation rate of 3.07 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1) and the efficiency of 86.8%under 1 sun and maintains high evaporation performance under various extreme test conditions including vigorous washing,repeated compression,and high-intensity ultraviolet(UV)***,the evaporator performs well in practical application scenarios,its evaporation rate in the simulated Dead Sea seawater exceeds 2.13 kg·m^(-2)·h^(-1),and more than 99.9%of the salt,heavy metal ions,oil pollution,and dyes are purified.

Electroporation as a methodology to introduce foreign genes into silkworm eggs was system- atically analyzed. The foreign gene in both the newly hatched and 3rd instar larva DNA can be detected by PCR. The amount of foreign gene in 3rd instar larva DNA was about 1/1000 of that in newly hatched larva DNA. The ratio of foreign gene entering into silkworm eggs was voltage dependent and showed significant difference between the tested silkworm strains. When the piggyBac transposon system was applied, the effect of nuclear localization signal (NLS) peptide and the in vitro transcribed transposase mRNA on the transposi- tion rate has been measured. Results showed that the in vitro transcribed transposase mRNA facilitated trans- position to take place earlier and NLS could result in higher transposition probability and earlier transposition as well. When linearized vectors containing varied length of flanking homologous sequences around a re- porter gene were introduced into silkworm eggs by electroporation, the one with 2.6 kb total arm length gave higher G1 positive ratio than that with total arm length of 1.5 kb and 800 bp.

Objective:To study the correlation of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography time-intensity curve parameters of bladder cancer with the invasive growth of cancer cells and the angiogenesis in the ***: Patients with bladder cancer who underwent surgical resection in Ezhou Central Hospital between March 2015 and April 2017 were selected as the research subjects, they received preoperative contrast-enhanced ultrasonography, the time-intensity curve was drawn, and the parameters AT, PT, WT and PI of bladder cancer tissue and adjacent tissue were calculated;after surgery, the bladder cancer tissue and adjacent tissue were collected to measure the expression of proliferation, invasion and angiogenesis ***: AT, PT and WT levels in bladder cancer tissue were significantly lower than those in adjacent tissue whereas PI level as well as Rce1, YAP,β-catenin, c-myc, CUGBP1, Annexin-II, uPA, CXCL10, CXCR3, ILK, VEGF, COX2, HIF-1 and NAC1 mRNA expression was significantly higher than those in adjacent tissue;Rce1, YAP,β-catenin, c-myc, CUGBP1, Annexin-II, uPA, CXCL10, CXCR3, ILK, VEGF, COX2, HIF-1 and NAC1 mRNA expression in bladder cancer tissue were negatively correlated with the AT, PT and WT levels, and were positively correlated with the PI ***: The change of the contrast-enhanced ultrasonography time-intensity curve parameters of bladder cancer is valuable for evaluating the invasive growth of cancer cells and the angiogenesis in the lesion.
