The large-scale implementation of the Gully Stabilization and Land Reclamation(GSLR)project induces various failures of loess slopes due to excavation in Yan'an,***,the deformation and failure behavior of these excavated loess slopes have not been fully *** this study,field investigation was undertaken for analyzing the distributions and failure features of excavation-induced loess slope *** is found that plastic failure mainly occurs in Q_(3. loess layers and brittle failure in Q_(2..To understand the underlying failure mechanism,a series of triaxial shear tests were conducted on intact Q_(3. and Q_(2. loess samples that with different water contents,namely natural water content(natural),dry side of the natural value(drying 5%),and wet side(wetting 5%).The characteristics of stress-strain curves and failure modes of the samples were *** show that the stress-strain curves of Q_(2. samples are dominated by strain-softening characteristics,while Q_(3. samples mainly exhibit strain-harden features except in the drying ***,shear failures of Q_(3. specimens are mainly caused by shear crack planes(single,X or V-shaped).For Q_(2. loess,the dominance of tensile cracks is observed on the surface of damaged *** disclose the different failure modes of excavated slopes located in different strata,that is,the arc sliding failure of Q_(3. loess slopes and the stepped tensile failure of Q_(2. loess slopes,and are helpful in the design and management of the ongoing GSLR projects in the Loess Plateau.

The Moon provides a unique environment for investigating nearby astrophysical events such as *** samples retain valuable information from these events,via detectable long-lived“fingerprint”radionuclides such as^(60)*** this work,we stepped up the development of an accelerator mass spectrometry(AMS)method for detecting^(60)Fe using the HI-13.andem accelerator at the china Institute of Atomic Energy(CIAE).Since interferences could not be sufficiently removed solely with the existing magnetic systems of the tandem accelerator and the following Q3. magnetic spectrograph,a Wien filter with a maximum voltage of±60 kV and a maximum magnetic field of 0.3.T was installed after the accelerator magnetic systems to lower the detection background for the low abundance nuclide^(60)Fe.A 1μm thick Si_(3.N_(4) foil was installed in front of the Q3. as an energy *** particle detection,a multi-anode gas ionization chamber was mounted at the center of the focal plane of the ***,an^(60)Fe sample with an abundance of 1.12.×10^(-10)was used to test the new AMS *** results indicate that^(60)Fe can be clearly distinguished from the isobar^(60)*** sensitivity was assessed to be better than 4.3.10^(-14)based on blank sample measurements lasting 5.8 h,and the sensitivity could,in principle,be expected to be approximately 2.5×10^(-15)when the data were accumulated for 100 h,which is feasible for future lunar sample measurements because the main contaminants were sufficiently separated.

"Juemingzi", a source of traditional chinese herbal medicine, has been demonstrated to play a role in decreasing serum cholesterol concentration. In this study, a novel protein, which has shown an in-hibitory effect on cholesterol biosynthesis, was isolated from Senna obtusifolia L. seed by gel filtration and ion exchange chromatography. The novel protein’s molecular mass was 19.7 kD and its pI was 4.80. Both SDS-PAGE and isoelectric-focusing (IEF) revealed a single Coomassie brilliant blue stained band, indicating that the novel protein was a single peptide. The N-terminal amino acid sequence of the pro-tein was IPYISASFPLNIEFLPSE, which had no similarity with any other protein sequences in the NCBI protein database. Circular dichroism (CD) signals indicated that S. obtusifolia seed protein contained 12.5% α-helix, 55.6% β-sheet, and 3..9% random coil.

The appropriate and specific response of nerve cells to various external cues is essential for the establishment and maintenance of neural circuits,and this process requires the proper recruitment of adaptor molecules to selectively activate downstream ***,we identified that DOK6,a member of the Dok(downstream of tyrosine kinases)family,is required for the maintenance of peripheral axons,and that loss of Dok6 can cause typical peripheral neuropathy symptoms in mice,manifested as impaired sensory,abnormal posture,paw deformities,blocked nerve conduction,and ***,Dok6 is highly expressed in peripheral neurons but not in Schwann cells,and genetic deletion of Dok6 in peripheral neurons led to typical peripheral myelin outfolding,axon destruction,and hindered retrograde axonal ***,DOK6 acts as an adaptor protein for selectivitymediated neurotrophic signal transduction and retrograde transport for TrkC and Ret but not for TrkA and ***6 interacts with certain proteins in the trafficking machinery and controls their phosphorylation,including MAP1B,Tau and Dynein for axonal transport,and specifically activates the downstream ERK1/2.kinase pathway to maintain axonal survival and *** finding provides new clues to potential insights into the pathogenesis and treatment of hereditary peripheral neuropathies and other degenerative diseases.

The discovery of Puguang Gas Field provides the exploration of china deep marine carbonate rock with important *** Puguang Gas Field,the dolomite reservoirs discovered in the deep are the best in the present of china,which present big thickness and wide-range distribution,and develop abundant secondary *** researches show that Puguang Gas Field bears the characteristics of early gas-fil{2.g time,deep burial,high matured organic matter and long-term interaction of hydrocarbon(oil and gas)-water-rock(carbonate reservoir).The developments of secondary pores in this area are affected by multiple diagenesis and their formation mechanisms are *** the research on depositional environment,sedimentary facies and reservoir porosity characters of Changxing and Feixianguan Formations,it is t{3.ght that high-quality dolomite reservoirs of Puguang Gas Field form on the favorable sedimentary facies belts,which are the integrate result affected by several factors including superficial corrosion,burial corrosion,overpressure and tectonic movement,among which burial corrosion of TSR to reservoir and overpressure formed by thermal evolution of organic matter have great effect on the formation of secondary porosity of Changxing and Feixianguan Formations.

Nitrogen(N) is an essential nutrient for food production. The rapid increase in population requires high inputs of N to meet the growing food demand. If not managed well, the substantial loss of N from the food system has multiple impacts on grain yield, air and water pollution, and the economic benefits of agricultural. Multi-objective(food security, environmental sustainability and economic sustainability) synergistic consideration of N management in the food system is still lacking. This study employed strategies for optimizing N management in the food system, using Quzhou County as a typical example on the North china Plain. Firstly, a food chain approach was adopted to understand drivers and reasons behind N losses from the food ***, a top-down approach was used to define multi-objective N management, taking into consideration food security, environmental sustainability and economic sustainability. Multi-objective N management aims to reduce N losses to the environment and increase N use efficiencies,while simultaneously increasing yields and economic benefits. Thirdly, 3.(reduce-retain-recycle) N management strategies were identified for specific crops and animals through a bottom-up approach and then analyzed the potential of these strategies to achieve the multi-objectives. Finally, there is a discussion of how to engage different stakeholders to promote the technologies implementation. This study provides new insights into the synergistic achievement of multi-objective N management in the food system and the development of environmentally-friendly agriculture.

The research of land use and land cover (LUCC) is an important aspect in the global change research. The goal of this study is to find methods of extraction of LUCC’s change outlined and change type from remotely sensed data. Take the country of Fengxian in Shanghai as an example, it was supposed two steps to finish extraction of LUCC information: the first step was to use different methods, which is used to outline change areas; the second step include methods of false composing of two-temporal and threshold value. Through combining two methods, a model rule is built and the LUCC product is obtained, four kinds of change type within the study area are given, and the results are obvious. Finally, the results support the application of the high resolution image and tasseled cap composition (greenness and wetness) in the specific regional too.

The influence of attention on memorizing related items and on available long-term memory (ALTM) was explored,showing that N400 of no-memory items was more negative than that of the memory *** results of the category comparison task indicated that information processing under attention-driven in WM determined the availability of related long-term memory,i.e.,specific content,which was formerly concerned or ignored,yielding different indirect semantic priming *** indicate that the orientation of conceptual attention leads the related representations of LTM to diverse activation patterns,supporting the activation-based model.

In a recent work by Fernandes[***.D 108(6),L061502.2.2.)],an exact stationary and axisymmetric solution was discovered in semiclassical gravity with type-A trace *** was identified as a {3.tum-corrected version of the Kerr black *** this study,we explore the observational signatures of this black hole *** investigation reveals that prograde and retrograde light rings exist,whose radii increase monotonically with the coupling parameterα.Whenαis negative,the shadow area for the {3.tum-corrected black hole is smaller than that of the Kerr black hole,whereas whenαis positive,the area is *** a near-extremal black hole,its high-spin feature(the NHEKline)is found to be highly susceptible to disruption byα.Furthermore,we discuss the images of the {3.tum-corrected black hole in the presence of a thin accretion disk and compare them to those of the Kerr black *** study highlights the importance of near-horizon emission sources in detecting the effects of {3.tum corrections by black hole images.
