Impact of Alcian blue and periodic acid Schiff expression on the prognosis of gastric signet ring cell carcinoma

BACKGROUND The Alcian blue(AB)and periodic acid Schiff(PAS)stains are representative mucus markers in gastric signet ring cell carcinoma(SRCC).They are low-cost special staining methods used to detect acidic mucus and neutral mucus,***,the clinical importance of the special combined AB and PAS stain is *** To investigate AB expression,PAS expression and the AB-to-PAS(A/P)ratio in gastric SRCC patients and to assess patient *** Paraffin-embedded sections from 83 patients with gastric SRCC were stained with AB and PAS,and signet ring cell positivity was assessed ***-histochemical staining for Ki67,protein 53(P53)and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2(HER2)was performed *** cancer-specific survival(CSS)rate was estimated via Kaplan-Meier *** proportional hazards models were used for univariate and multivariate survival *** Kaplan-Meier survival analysis revealed that the 3-year CSS rate was significantly greater in the high-PAS-expression subgroup than in the low-PAS-expression subgroup(P0.5 group(P=0.042).Univariate Cox regression analysis revealed that the factors affecting prognosis included tumor diameter,lymph node metastasis,vessel carcinoma embolus,tumor stage,the A/P ratio and the expression of Ki67,P53 and the *** multivariate regression analysis confirmed that low PAS expression[hazard ratio(HR)=3.809,95%confidence interval(CI):1.563-9.283,P=0.003]and large tumor diameter(HR=2.761,95%CI:1.086-7.020,P=0.033)were independent risk factors for poor *** A/P>0.5 is potentially a risk factor for prognosis,and low PAS expression is an independent risk factor in the prognosis of gastric *** expression and the A/P ratio could help in predicting the clinical prognosis of patients with SRCC.

Cotton leaf disease detection method based on improved SSD

In response to the problems of numerous model parameters and low detection accuracy in SSD-based cotton leaf disease detection methods,a cotton leaf disease detection method based on improved SSD was proposed by combining the characteristics of cotton leaf ***,the lightweight network MobileNetV2 was introduced to improve the backbone feature extraction network,which provides more abundant semantic information and details while significantly reducing the amount of model parameters and computing complexity,and accelerates the detection speed to achieve real-time ***,the SE attention mechanism,ECA attention mechanism,and CBAM attention mechanism were fused to filter out disease target features and effectively suppress the feature information of jamming targets,generating feature maps with strong semantics and precise location *** test results on the self-built cotton leaf disease dataset show that the parameter quantity of the SSD_MobileNetV2 model with backbone network of MobileNetV2 was 50.9%of the SSD_VGG model taking VGG as the *** with SSD_VGG model,the P,R,F1 values,and mAP of the MobileNetV2 model increased by 4.37%,3.3%,3.8%,and 8.79%respectively,while FPS increased by 22.5 frames/*** SE,ECA,and CBAM attention mechanisms were introduced into the SSD_VGG model and SSD_MobileNetV2 *** gradient weighted class activation mapping algorithm to explain the model detection process and visually compare the detection results of each *** results indicate that the P,R,F1 values,mAP and FPS of the SSD_MobileNetV2+ECA model were higher than other models that introduced the attention ***,this model has less parameter with faster running speed,and is more suitable for detecting cotton diseases in complex environments,showing the best detection ***,the improved SSD_MobileNetV2+ECA model significantly enhanced the semantic information of the shallow feature map of the model,and has a goo

Optimal allocation method of electric/air braking force of high-speed train considering axle load transfer

Reasonable distribution of braking force is a factor for a smooth,safe,and comfortable braking of trains.A dynamic optimal allocation strategy of electric-air braking force is proposed in this paper to solve the problem of the lack of consideration of adhesion difference of train wheelsets in the existing high-speed train electric-air braking force optimal allocation *** this method,the braking strategy gives priority to the use of electric braking *** force model of a single train in the braking process is analyzed to calculate the change of adhesion between the wheel and rail of each wheelset after axle load transfer,and then the adhesion of the train is estimated in real ***,with the goal of maximizing the total adhesion utilization ratio of trailer/motor vehicles,a linear programming distribution function is *** proportional coefficient of adhesion utilization ratio of each train and the application upper limit of braking force in the function is updated according to the change time point of wheelset ***,the braking force is dynamically *** simulation results of Matlab/Simulink show that the proposed algorithm not only uses the different adhesion limits of each trailer to reduce the total amount of braking force undertaken by the motor vehicle,but also considers the adhesion difference of each *** strategy can effectively reduce the risk and time of motor vehicles during the braking process and improve the stability of the train braking.

Multi-objective optimization and evaluation of supercritical CO_(2) Brayton cycle for nuclear power generation

The supercritical CO_(2) Brayton cycle is considered a promising energy conversion system for Generation IV reactors for its simple layout,compact structure,and high cycle *** models of four Brayton cycle layouts are developed in this study for different reactors to reduce the cost and increase the thermohydraulic performance of nuclear power generation to promote the commercialization of nuclear *** analysis,multi-objective optimizations,and four decision-making methods are applied to obtain each Brayton scheme’s optimal thermohydraulic and economic *** show that for the same design thermal power scale of reactors,the higher the core’s exit temperature,the better the Brayton cycle’s thermo-economic *** the four-cycle layouts,the recompression cycle(RC)has the best overall performance,followed by the simple recuperation cycle(SR)and the intercooling cycle(IC),and the worst is the reheating cycle(RH).However,RH has the lowest total cost of investment(C_(tot))of$1619.85 million,and IC has the lowest levelized cost of energy(LCOE)of 0.012$/(kWh).The nuclear Brayton cycle system’s overall performance has been improved due to *** performance of the molten salt reactor combined with the intercooling cycle(MSR-IC)scheme has the greatest improvement,with the net output power(W_(net)),thermal efficiencyη_(t),and exergy efficiency(η_(e))improved by 8.58%,8.58%,and 11.21%,*** performance of the lead-cooled fast reactor combined with the simple recuperation cycle scheme was optimized to increase C_(tot) by 27.78%.In comparison,the internal rate of return(IRR)increased by only 7.8%,which is not friendly to investors with limited *** the nuclear Brayton cycle,the molten salt reactor combined with the recompression cycle scheme should receive priority,and the gas-cooled fast reactor combined with the reheating cycle scheme should be considered carefully.

The mitigation of sulphation and parasitic hydrogen evolution is considered as prominent research emphasis for the development of lead-carbon batteries(LCBs)in large-scale energy storage ***,cooperative Pb-C composites consisting of single atom Pb and carbon-encapsulated PbO nanoparticles were prepared by freeze-drying technique and pyrolytic reduction to address above *** innovative use of Pb^(2+)to cross-link sodium alginate enabled a uniform distribution of Pb in the composites,generating Pb-C-PbO three-phase *** analysis and theoretical calculations revealed the synergistic interactions between single-atom Pb and PbO nanoparticles in suppressing parasitic hydrogen evolution and promoting the adsorption of Pb *** presence of monatomic Pb and PbO enhanced the affinity of the composites for the negative active materials and facilitated the transformation of the active materials from bulk into spherical shapes to enhance the specific surface area,thereby counteracting *** the coordinated integration of various functionalities offered by Pb@C-x,the cycle life of the battery at HRPSoC reaches 7025 cycles,which is two times for LCB with pure carbon ***,the discharge capacity increased from 3.52 to 3.79 *** study provides substantial insights into the construction of Pb-C composites for LCBs to inhibit negative sulphation and hydrogen evolution.

A novel minority sample fault diagnosis method based on multisource data enhancement

Effective fault diagnosis has a crucial impact on the safety and cost of complex manufacturing ***,the complex structure of the collected multisource data and scarcity of fault samples make it difficult to accurately identify multiple fault *** address this challenge,this paper proposes a novel deep-learning model for multisource data augmentation and small sample fault *** raw multisource data are first converted into two-dimensional images using the Gramian Angular Field,and a generator is built to transform random noise into images through transposed convolution ***,two discriminators are constructed to evaluate the authenticity of input images and the fault diagnosis *** Vision Transformer network is built to diagnose faults and obtain the classification error for the ***,a global optimization strategy is designed to upgrade parameters in the *** discriminators and generator compete with each other until Nash equilibrium is achieved.A real-world multistep forging machine is adopted to compare and validate the performance of different *** experimental results indicate that the proposed method has multisource data augmentation and minority sample fault diagnosis *** with other state-of-the-art models,the proposed approach has better fault diagnosis accuracy in various scenarios.

Resonant four-photon photoemission from SnSe_(2)(001)

High-order nonlinear multiphoton absorption is usually inefficient,but can be enhanced by designing resonant excitations between occupied and unoccupied energy *** conducted angle-resolved multi-photon photoemission(mPPE)studies on the SnSe_(2)(001)surfaces excited by ultrashort laser *** tuning photon energy and light polarization,we demonstrate the presence of a resonant four-photon photoemission(4PPE)process involving the occupied valence band(VB),the unoccupied second conduction band(CB2)and the unoccupied image-potential state(IPs)of SnSe_(2).In this 4PPE process,VB electrons of SnSe_(2) are resonantly excited into CB2 by adsorbing two photons,followed by the adsorption of another photon to populate the n=1 IPs before being emitted out to the vacuum by adsorbing one more *** results in a double-resonant 4PPE process,which exhibits approximately a 40 times enhancement in photoemission yields compared to cases where one of the resonant pathways,CB2→IPs,is inhibited by involving a virtual state instead of the IPs in the *** double-resonant 4PPE process efficiently excite the bulk VB electrons outside the vacuum,like taking advantage of resonant“ladders”through two real empty electronic states of SnSe_(2).Our results highlight the important applications of mPPE in probing the band-structure,particularly the unoccupied states,of recently emerging main group dichalcogenide ***,the discovered resonant mPPE process contributes to the exploration of their promising optoelectronic applications.
