Two remarkable epimerizations imperative for the suc.ess of an asymmetric.total synthesis of (+)-aigialospirol

Two remarkable epimerization proc.sses were unc.vered during our pursuit of an enantioselec.ive synthesis of(+)-aigialospirol featuring a c.c.ic.ac.tal tethered ring-c.osing *** modeling,we were able to turn these two unexpec.ed epimerizations to our advantage via modeling to ensure a suc.essful and c.nc.se total synthesis,thereby firmly establishing c.c.ic.ac.tal tethered Rc. as a powerful strategy in natural produc. *** importantly,c.lc.lations allowed us to fully understand the nature and the mec.anistic.c.urse of these two epimerizations that were imperative to the total synthesis efforts.

Objec.ive:To identify unique immunogenic.epitopes of Zika virus non-struc.ural 1(NS1)antigen and produc. immunoglobulin Y(IgY)for potential use in he diagnosis of of Zika virus ***:Immunogenic.epitopes were identified using in silic. B-c.ll epitope predic.ion.A synthetic.peptide analog of the predic.ed epitope was used to induc. antipeptide IgY produc.ion in hens whic. was purified using affinity *** of purified IgY and its binding spec.fic.ty were performed by gel elec.rophoresis and ELISA,***:Out of the nine c.ntinuous epitopes identified,the sequenc. at position 193-208(LKVREDYSLEc.PAVI)was selec.ed and used to produc. anti-peptide *** produc.d IgY was found to bind to the synthetic.analog of the Zika virus NS1 immunogenic.epitope but not to other flaviviruses and random peptides from other ***:In this study,we identified an immunogenic.epitope unique to Zika virus that c.n be used to develop a serodiagnostic.tool that spec.fic.lly detec. Zika virus infec.ion.
