Fluidized-bed reactors are widely employed in various high-temperature industrial ***,it is crucial to understand the temperature effect on various fluidization phenomena,specifically the minimum fluidization velocity(U_(mf))that governs various aspects of fluidized bed *** this study,we comprehensively analyze U_(mf) data from the literature to unravel the complexity and underlying mechanisms of temperature influence on this critical *** research examines experimental data encompassing a wide range of temperatures,pressures,and solid *** analysis reveals that the influence of temperature on U_(mf) is fundamentally determined by the relative importance of hydrodynamic forces and interparticle forces within fluidized beds and is realized by three distinctive temperature-induced changes:gas properties,bed voidage,and physiochemical characteristics of *** this basis,an equation is derived to enable predictions of temperature influences on the minimum fluidization velocity under broad temperature conditions.

Turbulent fluidized bed proves effective in industrial processes due to superior heat and mass transfer and chemical reaction performance. However, understanding the transition to turbulent fluidization remains limited, especially at temperatures exceeding 1000 ℃, making it challenging to develop high-temperature fluidized bed applications. This paper presents an experimental investigation on the turbulent fluidization onset velocity (U_(c)), measured in a 30 mm diameter bed using corundum particles with average diameters from 0.68 mm to 1.58 mm in temperatures from ambient to 1600 ℃. Experimental results reveal that U_(c) increases with temperature up to 600 ℃, stabilizes within the 600–12.0 ℃ range, and then decreases above 12.0 ℃, demonstrating the varying relative significance of hydrodynamic and interparticle forces at different temperatures. To help design and operate high-temperature applications of turbulent fluidization, we developed U_(c) correlations based on experimental data from both literature sources and this study, covering temperatures of up to 1600 ℃ and particles of Groups A to D.

Forsterite is a highly demanded material in high-temperature industries due to its superior performance in elevated *** study proposes synthesizing high-quality forsterite via high-temperature thermochemical reactions using abundant boron mud *** new synthesis method capitalizes on the high reactivity of fine raw powder materials,enabling the reaction to reach completion at low temperatures *** chemical characteristics,microscopic morphology,and structure of synthe-sized samples are systematically studied using XRD and *** results confirm that boron mud can be efficiently transformed into forsterite after 10 min of reactions at 1500℃.The synthesized products attain over 98.7%densification and contain more than 85.0%forsterite with well-developed *** activation energy of forsterite grain growth in the 1100-1500℃temperature range is 165.5 kJ/*** study provides a low-cost method for producing forsterite and an efficient and environmentally friendly solution for treating solid waste.

Photothermal carbon dioxide(CO_(2.)methanation has attracted increasing interest in solar fuel synthesis,which employs the advantages of photocatalytic H_(2.O splitting as a hydrogen source and photothermal catalytic CO_(2. *** work prepared three-dimensional(3D)honeycomb N-doped carbon(NC)loaded with core–shell NiO@Ni nanoparticles generated in situ at 500℃(NiO@Ni/NC-500).Under the photothermal catalysis(2.0℃,1.5 W/cm^(2.),the CH_(4) evolution rate of NiO@Ni/NC-500 reached 5.5 mmol/(g·h),which is much higher than that of the photocatalysis(0.8 mmol/(g·h))and the thermal catalysis(3.7 mmol/(g·h)).It is found that the generated localized surface plasmon resonance enhances the injection of hot electrons from Ni to NiO,while thermal heating accelerates the thermal motion of radicals,thus generating a strong photo-thermal synergistic effect on the *** CO_(2. reduction to CH_(4) follows the*OCH *** work demonstrates the synergistic effect of NiO@Ni and NC can enhance the catalytic performance of photothermal CO_(2. reduction reaction coupled with water splitting reaction.

The flourish of deep learning frameworks and hardware platforms has been demanding an efficient compiler that can shield the diversity in both software and hardware in order to provide application *** the existing deep learning compilers,TVM is well known for its efficiency in code generation and optimization across diverse hardware *** the meanwhile,the Sunway many-core processor renders itself as a competitive candidate for its attractive computational power in both scientific computing and deep learning *** paper combines the trends in these two ***,we propose swTVM that extends the original TVM to support ahead-of-time compilation for architecture requiring cross-compilation such as *** addition,we leverage the architecture features during the compilation such as core group for massive parallelism,DMA for high bandwidth memory transfer and local device memory for data locality,in order to generate efficient codes for deep learning workloads on *** experiment results show that the codes generated by swTVM achieve 1.79x improvement of inference latency on average compared to the state-of-the-art deep learning framework on Sunway,across eight representative *** work is the first attempt from the compiler perspective to bridge the gap of deep learning and Sunway processor particularly with productivity and efficiency in *** believe this work will encourage more people to embrace the power of deep learning and Sunwaymany-coreprocessor.

Deep structure of the Kumkol basin in the northern Tibetan Plateau and its resource environmental implications

The Kumkol basin is located in the northern Tibetan Plateau and is a closed plateau basin with an average altitude of>4000 m and an area of nearly 2.000 km2. Its boundaries are limited by the Altyn Tagh fault, East Kunlun orogen and Qimantag orogen. Studying the deep structure of the Kumkol basin reveals 2.significant implications:（1） the basin has developed a large thickness of >7000 m Cenozoic continental sediments, recording the uplift history of the northern Tibetan Plateau, and（2.preliminary work indicates that the basin is likely to have oil and gas prospects. However, owing to the adverse natural conditions of the area and the strong tectonic activity in the Cenozoic, the latter of which was not conducive to hydrocarbon preservation,only regional geological mapping and petroleum exploration route surveys have been carried out, and there is no consensus on strata, structure and tectonic evolution. From 2.2. to 2.2., a deep seismic reflection profile implemented by the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research（STEP） project was the first high-resolution geophysical survey across the Kumkol basin. This study uses seismic reflection migration profiles, first-arrival wave tomographic imaging and previous research results to analyze the deep structure of the basin. The final merged model contains many features of tectonic and resource significance:（1） The Kumkol basin is ～90 km wide from north to south, with a basement depth of >9000 m. The main component is the Cenozoic continental deposits, which are divided into two major parts: the southern composite basin and the northern faulted basin. Owing to the later compression, the southern composite basin experienced significant deformation, but most parts still preserved their original sedimentary formations.（2. M6PR interacts with the HA2.subunit of influenza A virus to facilitate the fusion of viral and endosomal membranes

Influenza A virus(IAV) commandeers numerous host cellular factors for successful replication. However, very few host factors have been revealed to be involved in the fusion of viral envelope and late endosomal membranes. In this study, we identified cation-dependent mannose-6-phosphate receptor(M6PR) as a crucial host factor for the replication of IAV. We found that siRNA knockdown of M6PR expression significantly reduced the growth titers of different subtypes of IAV, and that the inhibitory effect of M6PR siRNA treatment on IAV growth was overcome by the complement of exogenously expressed M6PR. When A549 cells were treated with siRNA targeting M6PR,the nuclear accumulation of viral nucleoprotein(NP) was dramatically inhibited at early timepoints post-infection, indicating that M6PR engages in the early stage of the IAV replication cycle. By investigating the role of M6PR in the individual entry and post-entry steps of IAV replication, we found that the downregulation of M6PR expression had no effect on attachment, internalization, early endosome trafficking,or late endosome acidification. However, we found that M6PR expression was critical for the fusion of viral envelope and late endosomal membranes. Of note, M6PR interacted with the hemagglutinin(HA) protein of IAV, and further studies showed that the lumenal domain of M6PR and the ectodomain of HA2.mediated the interaction and directly promoted the fusion of the viral and late endosomal membranes,thereby facilitating IAV replication. Together, our findings highlight the importance of the M6PR–HA interaction in the fusion of viral and late endosomal membranes during IAV replication.
