Influence of hot rolling on microstructure and mechanical characteristics of explosive-welded FSS/CS laminate

The influence of hot rolling on the microstructure and subsequent mechanical characteristics of explosive-welded ferritic stainless steel （FSS）/carbon steel （CS） laminate was investigated. The results indicate that by hot rolling, decarburization layer disappears and a uniform structure is gained in CS side, but ferrite grains and carbides in constituent FSS form an uneven band microstructure which is denser at superficial zone than near the interface. The transmission electron microscopy results indicate that the layers adhering to the interface show typical deformed microstructure features, i.e., stream-like strips and elongated grains in FSS plates, carbide precipitates and bended cementite fragments in CS plates; and high-density dislocations in both plates, With hot rolling, various mechanical strengths and hardness are increased, while the elongation percentage is diminished. Examination of fractographs from tensile tests reveals predominately small dimples for explosive-welded specimens, whereas both big dimples and cleavage fracture for rolled specimens. Stereomicroscopic fractographs taken on shear samples indicate that the surfaces of explosive-welded specimens exhibit uniform deformation, but uneven deformation is displayed for that of rolled specimens. These results indicate that hot rolling is beneficial to improve the strength of explosive-welded FSS/CS laminate but not good for enhancing its plasticity.

Cu is known to affect the edge cracking characteristics of austenitic stainless steel as it causes *** hot rolling test of four kinds of austenitic stainless steel with different copper content(0,2.42,3.60 and 4.35 wt.%)was carried out to examine the effect of hot rolling cracks on steel containing different copper *** evolution of crack and microstructure was analyzed using the scanning electron microscope,energy-dispersive spectrometer,electron back scattered diffraction and transmission electron *** results showed an upward trend in edge cracking degree when Cu content was 4.35%,and the crack extended from the edge of the steel plate to the middle by about 14 ***,severe oxidation was observed inside the crack by *** the increase in copper content at 1250℃,the content of{110}brass and{112}copper textures *** the content of copper was 4.35%,the decrease was most significant,and{112}copper texture content decreased to only 0.5%.Generally,the textures of 2.42%Cu and 3.60%Cu 304L steel changed little,while a large change in the texture of 4.35%Cu 304L steel was *** conclude,the increase in rolling temperature can prevent edge crack and its propagation effectively.

A novel three-component hybrid-integrated optical accelerometer based on a Mach-Zehnder interferometer with a LiNbO_3 photoelastic waveguide

An investigation of the properties ofa LiNbO3 photoelastic waveguide via the acceleration-induced effect is presented. A novel three-component hybrid-integrated optical accelerometer based on a Mach-Zehnder interferometer with a LiNbO3 photoelastic waveguide has been designed, which is capable of detecting seismic acceleration in high-accuracy seismic exploration. The Mach-Zehnder interferometer was successfully fabricated and a lighting test used to check its quality. The frequency response characteristic of the accelerometer was measured2 The accelerometer with a resonant frequency of 3549 Hz was demonstrated to show good linear frequency responding characteristics in the range of 100-3000 Hz. The accelerometer also shows good stability and consistency. Experimental results indicate that the outputs of the on- and cross-axis are 147 and 21.3 mV, respectively.

Cryptosporidium parvum is a zoonotic pathogen,which can infect a wide range of hosts including animals and *** clinical symptoms caused by *** infection mainly are associated with gastrointestinal diseases,even severe diarrhea in immunocompromised human and *** non-coding RNA(lncRNA) is a non-coding potential RNA with a length of more than 200 *** evidences suggest that lncRNAs act as positive or negative regulators in many diseases through regulating the gene *** the present study,we established a model of HCT-8 cells infecting with *** subtype,and the expression profiles of host lncRNAs were analyzed using microarray assay.A total of 821 significantly differentially expressed IncRNAs were detected in HCT-8 cells infected with *** at 24 h post infection,including 557 up-and 264 down-regulated *** them,the lncRNA BACE1-AS was significantly down-regulated in HCT-8 cells infected with *** at different times(8 h,1 2 h,24 h,48 h).To detect the effect of BACE1-AS on *** infection,we designed an overexpression recombinant vector(pcDNA3.1-BACE1-AS) and siRNAs of *** HCT-8 cells were transfected with pcDNA3.1-BACE1-AS or BACE1-AS siRNA,and the cells were infected with *** IId subtype at 24 h post *** with the control plasmid(pcDNA3.1) group,the infection burden was significantly increased in HCT-8 cells transfected with *** the other hand,the infection burden was significantly decreased in HCT-8 cells treated with siRNA of *** findings suggested the importance of host lncRNA in *** infection.

Giardia duodenalis(*** lamblia,Giardia intestinalis) is an important zoonotic parasite that parasitizes the gastro-intestines of humans and *** infected with ***,serious symptoms could be seen in immunocompromised individuals,including abdominal pain,diarrhea,growth retardation and cognitive *** obvious symptoms were not commonly presented in immunocompetent hosts,they could be reservoirs to transmit *** cysts to environment or other *** has been reported in goats worldwide,and the goat has been indicated as one of the most important reservoirs of *** for *** holds the largest goat populations,but only three previous public reports about *** infections in goats were ***,the systematical investigations of *** on six species of three production categories(meat,cashmere and milk) in Shaanxi province were conducted,and multilocus genotypes(MLGs) of these *** isolates were analyzed using the multilocus genotyping(MLST) technology based on the gene loci of triosephosphate isomerase(tpi),β-giardin(bg) and glutamate dehydrogenase(gdh).A total of 1311 faecal specimens were examined,and the overall prevalence was 7.1%.Although all the meat,cashmere and dairy goats were positive for infection,the highest prevalence was found in cashmere goats(10.2%).Negative correlation between age and prevalence was also observed,and the highest prevalence was detected in 0–2-month *** analysis showed the presence of three assemblages,including two zoonotic(A and B) and one animal-adapted assemblage E,with E as the prevalent assemblage found in all breeds of positive *** zoonotic assemblage A was found in Guanzhong dairy and Shanbei cashmere goats,but B was only detected in Boar ***,mixed assemblages E and A were also identified in two cashmere ***-locus genotyping(MLST) identified four novel multi-locus genotypes(MLGs),including two

Cryptosporidium,a worldwide protozoan parasite,is one of the most common causes of diarrhea for humans and *** aim of the present study was to determine Cryptosporidium species/genotypes in pre-weaned calves in Shaanxi Province using PCR and sequencing based on small subunit ribosomal RNA(SSU rRNA) gene.A total of 258 fecal samples were collected from pre-weaned calves in 19 different farms of six areas in Shaanxi Province,Northwestern *** infection was detected in 14 of 19farms(73.7%),with the total prevalence of 20.2%(52/258).Both dairy and Qinchuan(beef) cattle were found with Cryptosporidium *** Cryptosporidium species,namely ***(n=26),***(n=14)and ***(n=12),were detected in pre-weaned calves in Shaanxi province,with ***(in 12 of farms)as the most common species in cattle *** additional previously unknown *** genotypes CRType Ⅲ and Ⅳ were observed in the present ***,the zoonotic species,***,was not detected in this study,which suggested a low zoonotic potential in Cryptosporidium infected pre-weaned calves in this province.

Cryptosporidium is an important protozoan diarrheal pathogen in animals and *** watery diarrhea caused by Cryptosporidium infection has been reported as potentially fetal in youth,the in immunocompromised(e.g.,HIV/AIDS),and transplant *** infection by the zoonotic protozoan,***,causes significant alterations in the gene expression profile in host epithelial *** molecular mechanisms of how *** may modulate host cell gene transcription and the pathological significance of such alterations are largely *** studies demonstrate that a panel of parasite RNA transcripts are delivered into infected host cells and may modulate host gene *** in vitro models of intestinal cryptosporidiosis,in this study,we analyzed the impact of host delivery of *** Cdg2Lc220 RNA transcript on host gene expression *** found that alterations in host gene expression profile following *** infection were partially associated with the nuclear delivery of ***,we identified a total of 46 overlapping upregulated genes and 8 overlapping downregulated genes in infected cells and cells transfected with ***-suppression of the DAZ interacting zinc finger protein 1 like(DZIP1 L) gene,the top overlapping downregulated gene in host cells following *** infection and cells transfected with Full-Cdg2Lc220,was mediated by G9 a,independent of ***2Lc220-mediated trans-suppression of the DZIP1 L gene was independent of H3 K9 and H3 K27 *** from this study provide additional evidence that delivery of *** Cdg2Lc220 RNA transcript in infected epithelial cells modulates the transcription of host genes,contributing to the alterations in the gene expression profile in host epithelial cells during *** infection.

Cryptosporidium parvum is the most important common enteropathogen inhabiting in many *** of *** in immunocompetent livestock are commonly asymptomatic or self-limited,but it can be life-threaten in immunocomprised or immunodeficent ***,there have been no efficient treatment and prevention measures to control cryptosporidiosis currently and better understanding of the immune response to this parasite is *** anaphylatoxins were throught to be potent proinflammatory mediators among complement activation *** a pivotal part of innate immunity,complement can be triggered via three pathways and product anaphylatoxin which can cause a variety of biological *** order to evaluate the role of anaphylatoxins during Cryptosporidium parvum infection,a curtain number of BABL/c mice were inoculated orally with 1×10 *** oocysts and real-time quantitative PCR(qPCR) were used to exam the expression levels of the C3 a,C5a and their receptors(C3aR and C5aR) in ***-infected *** of C3 a in small intestine showed mRNA level of C3 a was elevated at 48 h pi,peaking at 7d pi,while C3 aR expression increased as early as 6h pi compared with control mice,with a peak at 24 h pi and continuously enhanced at 48 h *** of them were even up-regulated after clearance of parasites(21d pi).In spleen,C3 a and C3 aR were synchronous intensified at 6h pi,12 h pi,7d pi and 21 d *** in small intestine,C5 a were up-regulated at 6h pi,and sustaining elevated at 24 h pi,peaking at 48 h *** the mine time,accelerated expression of C5 aR was also observed at 6h pi,with a peak at 24 h *** spleen,C5 a lifting expression at 6h pi,and with a peak at 72 h *** C5 aR were enhanced at12 h pi,peaking at 14 d *** line of these datas,there is hypothesis that anaphylatoxins may play a contribution role to against *** obtained results could serve as guidelines for future studies on the immunologic mechanism to *** in
