Effect and mechanism of Qingre Huashi decoction on drug-resistant Helicobacter pylori

Correlation of plasma miR-21 and miR-93 with radiotherapy and chemotherapy efficacy and prognosis in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

Mitochondrial dysfunction is a hallmark feature of cellular senescence and organ ***,we asked whether the mitochondrial antiviral signaling protein(MAVS),which is essential for driving antiviral response,also regulates human stem cell *** answer this question,we used CRISPR/Cas9-mediated gene editing and directed differentiation techniques to generate various MAVS-knockout human stem cell *** found that human mesenchymal stem cells(hMSCs)were sensitive to MAVS deficiency,as manifested by accelerated senescence *** uncovered that the role of MAVS in maintaining mitochondrial structural integrity and functional homeostasis depends on its interaction with the guanosine triphosphatase optic atrophy type 1(OPA1).Depletion of MAVS or OPA1 led to the dysfunction of mitochondria and cellular senescence,whereas replenishment of MAVS or OPA1 in MAVS-knockout hMSCs alleviated mitochondrial defects and premature senescence *** together,our data underscore an uncanonical role of MAVS in safeguarding mitochondrial homeostasis and antagonizing human stem cell senescence.

AIM To investigate the potential role of micro RNA-30 a(mi R-30 a) in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC).METHODS Expression of mi R-30 a-3 p/5 p was analyzed using microarray data and fresh ESCC tissue samples. Both in vitro and in vivo assays were used to investigate the effects of mi R-30 a-3 p/5 p on ESCC cell proliferation. Furthermore,Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes analysis was performed to explore underlying mechanisms involved in ESCC,and then,assays were carried out to verify the potential molecular mechanism of mi R-30 a in *** Low expression of mi R-30 a-3 p/5 p was closely associated with advanced ESCC progression and poor prognosis of patients with ESCC. The effect of hydrogen and helium interaction,especially H-He ratio,on the irradiation behavior of nuclear materials has not yet been ***,this is an important basis for evaluating the irradiation properties of nuclear materials and developing high irradiation resistant ***,30 keV H_(2)^(+)and He^(+)dual beams with four H-He ratios of 0:10,3:10,15:10,and 30:10 were used to irradiate the newly developed Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/M steel in TEM to in-situ study the interaction and ratio effect of hydrogen and *** addition of H atoms significantly promoted the nucleation of dislocation loops and *** the early stage of irradiation,the average size and density of dislocation loops increased with the increase of H-He ***,the larger the H-He ratio,the easier it was to form a complex dislocation ***,the final saturation size of bubbles increased with the increase of H-He *** was first found that the swelling was affected by H concentrations,with high H concentrations slowing down the increase in *** a certain irradiation dose,a specific H-He ratio would lead to a swelling peak of Fe9Cr1.5W0.4Si F/M *** super-sized bubbles at grain boundaries(GBs)were found after H addition,resulting in a bigger swelling of GBs than the *** the swelling of the GBs and the matrix show a dependence on the H-He *** current work is of great significance for understanding the interaction between hydrogen and helium in nuclear materials.

Generation of human/rat xenograft animal model for the study of human donor stem cell behaviors in vivo

AIM： TO accurately and realistically elucidate human stem cell behaviors in vivo and the fundamental mechanisms controlling human stem cell fates in vivo, which is urgently required in regenerative medicine and treatments for some human diseases, a surrogate human-rat chimera model was developed. METHODS： Human-rat chimeras were achieved by in utero transplanting low-density mononuclear cells from human umbilical cord blood into the fetal rats at 9-11 d of gestation, and subsequently, a variety of methods, including flow cytometry, PCR as well as immunohistochemical assay, were used to test the human donor contribution in the recipients. RESULTS： Of 29 live-born recipients, 19 had the presence of human CD45^＋ cells in peripheral blood （PB） detected by flow cytometry, while PCR analysis on genomic DNA from 11 different adult tissues showed that 14 selected from flow cytometry-positive 19 animals possessed of donor-derived human cell engraftment in multiple tissues （i.e. liver, spleen, thymus, heart, kidney, blood, lung, muscle, gut and skin） examined at the time of tissue collection, as confirmed by detecting human 132- microglobulin expression using immunohistochemistry. Tn this xenogeneic system, the engrafted donor-derived human cells persisted in multiple tissues for at least 6 mo after birth. Moreover, transplanted human donor cells underwent site-specific differentiation into CK18-positive human cells in chimeric liver and CEHS-positive human cells in chimeric spleen and thymus of recipients. CONCLUSION： Taken together, these findings suggest that we successfully developed human-rat chimeras, in which xenogeneic human cells exist up to 6 mo later. This humanized small animal model, which offers an in vivo environment more closely resembling to the situations in human, provides an invaluable and effective approach for in vivo investigating human stem cell behaviors, and further in vivo examining fundamental mechanisms controlling human stem cell fates in the fut

Super-high bed sintering for iron ores:behaviors,causes and solutions of horizontal segregation on strand

Horizontal segregation has been a constraint to the development and application of super-high bed *** eliminate the horizontal segregation of super-high bed sintering,several typical sintering machines were sampled and analyzed,and theoretical calculation was made to compare the bed depth and their differences in different areas within the mixture ***,solutions were proposed and applied to a 265 m^(2) sintering *** results showed that the horizontal seg-regation of the 265 m^(2) sintering machine was dominated by particles larger than 8 mm with horizontal segregation degree of 0.48,while 360 and 550 m^(2) sintering machines were affected by 5-8 mm and 1-3 mm particles with horizontal segregation degree of 0.27 and 0.31,*** analysis indicated the different segregation distribution results from the matching of the bed depth of each area within the mixture ***,the horizontal segregation degree not larger than 0.06 was achieved by optimizing the time parameters and the division of three zones on the 265 m^(2) sintering machine.
