The low-activity cationic monomer tert-butyl-dimethyl-(4-methyl-pent-4-enyloxy)-silane was synthesized by Grignard reaction and hydroxyl-protection reaction. Living polyisobutylene chains were initially synthesized by controlled cationic polymerization and then capped with tert-butyl-dimethyl-(4-methyl-pent-4-enyloxy)-silane. The hydrolysis of these polyisobutylenes end capped with tert-butyl-dimethyl-(4-methyl-pent-4-enyloxy)-silane gave rise to hydroxytelechelic polyisobutylene. NMR analysis confirmed that the hydrolysis was complete. Results also showed that a low polymerization temperature favored the participation of tert-butyl-dimethyl-(4- methyl-pent-4?enyloxy)-silane in the end-capping reaction. Moreover, polyisobutylene-based polyurethane exhibited greater acid resistance than commercial polyurethane.

The trace inverse functions Tr(λx^(-1)) over the finite field F_(2~n) are a class of very important Boolean functions and are used in many stream ciphers such as SFINKS,RAKAPOSHI,the simple counter stream cipher(SCSC) presented by Si W and Ding C(2012),*** order to evaluate the security of those ciphers in resistance to(fast) algebraic attacks,the authors need to characterize algebraic properties of Tr(λx^(-1)).However,currently only some bounds on algebraic immunity of Tr(λx^(-1)) are given in the public literature,for example,the NGG upper bound and the Bayev lower bound,*** paper gives the exact value of the algebraic immunity of Tr(λx^(-1)) over F_(2~n),that is,AI(Tr(λx^(-1))) =[2n^(1/2)]- 2,where n ≥ 2,A ∈ F_(2~n) and λ≠ 0,which shows that Dalai's conjecture on the algebraic immunity of Tr(λx^(-1)) is *** is more,the authors demonstrate some weak properties of Tr(λx^(-1)) against fast algebraic attacks.

A new unsteady three-dimensional convective-diffusive mathematical model for the transportation of macromolecules and water across the arterial wall was proposed . After the formation of leaky junctions due to the mitosis of endothelial cell of the arterial wall, the macromolecular transport happens surrounding the leaky cells. The arterial wall was divided into four layers: the endothelial layer, the subendothelial intima, the internal elastic lamina and the media for the convenience of research. The time-dependent concentration growth,the effect of the shape of endothelial cell and the effect of physiological parameters were analyzed. The analytical solution of velocity field and pressure field of water flow across the arterial wall were obtained; and concentration distribution of three macromolecules ; LDL,HRP and Albumin, were calculated with numerical simulation method. The new theory predicts, the maximum and distribution areas of time dependent concentration with round shape endothelial cell are both larger than that with ellipse-shape endothelial cell. The model also predicts the concentration growth is much alike that of a two-dimensional model and it shows that the concentration reaches its peak at the leaky junction where atherosclerotic formation frequently occurs and falls down rapidly in a limited area beginning from its earlier time growth to the state when macromolecular transfer approaches steadily. These predictions of the new model are in agreement with the experimental observation for the growth and concentration distribution of LDL and Albumin.

A row-type mutant of barley named poly-row-and-branched spike （prbs） was previously obtained from a two-rowed cultivar Pudamai-2 after treated by inflorescence soaking in maize total DNA solution. The mutant produces branched spikes with irregular multiple rows. Genetic analysis indicated that the mutant phenotype was caused by a recessive gene prbs, and the PRBS locus had a recessive epistatic effect on an independent locus （denoted as Vrsx） conferring the variation of two-rowed spike vs. six-rowed spike. This study aimed to map PRBS as well as Vrsx using simple sequence repeats （SSR） markers. We developed an F2 population from a cross between the prbs mutant and a six-rowed cultivar Putianwudu for the gene mapping. As the two target loci interacted to result in a segregation ratio of two-rowed type：six-rowed type：prbs=9：3：4 in the population, we adopted a special strategy to map the two loci. PRBS was mapped between SSR markers HvLTPPB and Bmag0508A on the short arm of chromosome 3H, with distances of 24.7 and 14.3 cM to the two markers, respectively. Vrsx was mapped between SSR markers Bmag0125 and Bmag0378 on chromosome 2H, with distances of 6.9 and 15.3 cM to the two markers, respectively. This suggests that Vrsx should be the known locus Vrs1, which predominantly controls row-type variation in barley cultivars, and PRBS is a new locus related to the row type of spikes in barley.

CdSe semiconductor nanocrystals capped by CdS were synthesized in the aqueous solution with 2 mercaptoethanol as the stabilizer. The CdS capping with a higher band gap than that of the core crystallite has successfully eliminated the surface traps. Optical absorption and fluorescence emission spectra were used to probe the effect of CdS passivation on the electronic structure of the nanocrystals. The composite CdSe/CdS nanocrystals exhibit strong, narrow(FWHM≤40 nm) and stable band edge photoluminescence. X ray powder diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and X ray photoelectron spectroscopy were used to analyze the composite nanocrystals and determine their average size, size distribution, shape, internal structure and elemental composition.

BACKGROUND Sick sinus syndrome is a common disease in *** symptoms include palpitations,dizziness,shortness of breath,chest tightness,and ***,to date,there are no known reports of sick sinus syndrome presenting with *** there is a correlation between headache and sick sinus syndrome merits further *** this report,we describe a case of headache induced by sick sinus *** SUMMARY A 73-year-old female patient presented to our department with the chief complaint of recurrent paroxysmal headache for more than 7 *** patient described paroxysmal palpations,usually headache occurring after *** blood pressure was normal when the most recent headache occurred.A magnetic resonance imaging study and magnetic resonance angiography of the head at another center were normal.A clinical neurological examination was negative.A 24-h Holter electrocardiogram monitoring study showed sick sinus *** patient received dual chamber pacing implantation and was administered drug therapy to control ventricular *** patient’s paroxysmal headaches and palpitations had resolved within 1 year,confirmed via a follow-up telephone *** After dual-chamber pacing implantation and drug therapy administration to control the ventricular rate,the patient’s paroxysmal headaches and palpitations had resolved within 1 year,confirmed via a follow-up telephone *** believe that the headaches were related to the patient’s sick sinus syndrome.

The incidence of obesity has been rapidly increasing, and this condition has become a major public health threat. A substantial shift in environmental factors and lifestyle, such as unhealthy diet, is among the major driving forces of the global obesity pandemic. Longitudinal studies and randomized intervention trials have shown that genetic susceptibility to obesity may interact with dietary factors in relation to the body mass index and risk of obesity. This review summarized data from recent longitudinal studies and intervention studies on variations and diets and discussed the challenges and future prospects related to this area and public health implications.

This paper investigates a dynamic asset allocation problem for loss-averse investors in a jumpdiffusion model where there are a riskless asset and N risky assets. Specifically, the prices of risky assets are governed by jump-diffusion processes driven by an m-dimensional Brownian motion and a（N- m）-dimensional Poisson process. After converting the dynamic optimal portfolio problem to a static optimization problem in the terminal wealth, the optimal terminal wealth is first solved. Then the optimal wealth process and investment strategy are derived by using the martingale representation approach. The closed-form solutions for them are finally given in a special example.
