In the realm of large-scale machine learning,it is crucial to explore methods for reducing computational complexity and memory demands while maintaining generalization ***,since the collected data may contain some sensitive information,it is also of great significance to study privacy-preserving machine learning *** paper focuses on the performance of the differentially private stochastic gradient descent(SGD)algorithm based on random *** begin,the algorithm maps the original data into a lowdimensional space,thereby avoiding the traditional kernel method for large-scale data storage ***,the algorithm iteratively optimizes parameters using the stochastic gradient descent ***,the output perturbation mechanism is employed to introduce random noise,ensuring algorithmic *** prove that the proposed algorithm satisfies the differential privacy while achieving fast convergence rates under some mild conditions.

Algorithms for wavefront sensing and error correction from intensity attract great concern in many *** we propose Bayesian optimization to retrieve phase and demonstrate its performance in simulation and *** small aberration,this method demonstrates a convergence process with high accuracy of phase sensing,which is also verified *** large aberration,Bayesian optimization is shown to be insensitive to the initial phase while maintaining high *** approach’s merits of high accuracy and robustness make it promising in being applied in optical systems with static aberration such as AMO experiments,optical testing shops,and electron or optical microscopes.

On-chip bright quantum sources with multiplexing ability are extremely high in demand for integrated quantum networks with unprecedented scalability and ***,we demonstrate a bright and broadband biphoton quantum source with spectral multiplexing generated in a lithium niobate microresonator *** introducing the conventional domain poling,the on-chip microdisk produces photon pairs covering a broad bandwidth promised by natural phase matching in spontaneous parametric down ***,the multiplexed photon pairs are characterized by 30 nm bandwidth limited by the filtering system,providing over 40 multiplexing channels with a 0.8 nm channel ***,the generation rate reaches 5.13 MHz/μW with a coincidence-to-accidental ratio up to 804,and the quantum source manifests a high purity with a heralded single photon correlation g^((2))_(H)(0)=0.0098±***,the energy-time entanglement is demonstrated with an excellent interference visibility of 96.5%±2%.Such a quantum source at the telecommunication band paves the way for high-dimensional entanglement and future integrated quantum information systems.

A memory-based quantum repeater architecture provides a solution to distribute quantum information to an arbitrary long *** quantum repeaters are likely to be built in optical-fiber networks which take advantage of the low-loss transmission between quantum memory *** quantum memory platforms have characteristic atomic transitions away from the telecommunication band.A nondegenerate photon pair source is therefore useful for connection of a quantum memory to optical ***,we report a high-brightness narrowband photon-pair source which is compatible with a rare-earth-ion-doped crystal Pr^3+:*** photon-pair source is generated through a cavityenhanced spontaneous parametric down-conversion process with the signal photon at 606 nm and the idler photon at 1540 ***,using the telecom C-band idler photons for heralding,we demonstrate the reversible transfer of orbital-angular-momentum qubit between the signal photon and the quantum memory based on Pr3^+:Y2SiO5.

A molecular insight into coke formation process of vacuum residue in thermal cracking reaction

Understanding the coking behaviors has been considered to be really essential for developing better vacuum residue processing technologies.A battery of thermal cracking tests of typical vacuum residue at 410℃ with various reaction time were performed to evaluate the coke formation *** total yields of ideal components including naphtha,atmospheric gas oil(AGO)and vacuum gas oil(VGO)of thermal cracking reactions increased from 10.89%to 40.81%,and the conversion ratios increased from8.05%to 43.33%with increasing the reaction time from 10 to 70 *** asphaltene content increased from 12.14%to a maximum of 22.39%and then decreased,and this maximum of asphaltene content occurred at the end of the coking induction *** asphaltenes during the coking induction period,at the end and after coking induction period of those tested thermal cracking reactions were characterized to disclose the structure changing rules for coke formation process,and the coke formation pathways were discussed to reveal the coke formation process at molecular level.

Diamond/aluminium composites have attracted attention in the field of thermal management of electronic packaging for their excellent *** order to solve the interfacial problem between diamond and aluminium,a novel process combining pressure infiltration with vacuum-assisted technology was proposed to prepare diamond/aluminum *** effect of diamond particle size on the microstructure and properties of the diamond/Al-12Si composites was *** results show that the diamond/Al-12Si composites exhibit high relative density and a uniform *** thermal conductivity and coefficient of thermal expansion increase with increasing particle size,while the bending strength exhibits the opposite *** the average diamond particle size increases from 45μm to 425μm,the thermal conductivity of the composites increases from 455 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)to 713 W·m^(-1)·K^(-1)and the coefficient of thermal expansion increases from 4.97×10^(-6)K^(-1)to 6.72×10^(-6)K^(-1),while the bending strength decreases from 353 MPa to 246 *** research demonstrates that high-quality composites can be prepared by the vacuum-assisted pressure infiltration process and the thermal conductivity of the composites can be effectively improved by increasing the diamond particle size.

The dissipative sensing based on a self-interference microring resonator composed of a microring resonator and a U-shaped feedback waveguide is demonstrated experimentally. Instead of a frequency shift induced by the phase shift of the waveguide or the microcavity, the dissipative sensing converts the phase shift to the effective external coupling rate, which leads to the change of linewidth of the optical resonance and the extinction ratio in the transmission spectrum. In our experiment, the power dissipated from a microheater on the feedback waveguide is detected by the dissipative sensing mechanism, and the sensitivity of our device can achieve0.22 d B/m W. This dissipative sensing mechanism provides another promising candidate for microcavity sensing applications.

The nonlinear fluorescence emission has been widely applied for high spatial resolution optical ***,we studied the fluorescence anomalous saturating effect of the nitrogen vacancy defect in *** fluorescence reduction was observed with high power laser *** increased the nonlinearity of the fluorescence emission,and changed the spatial frequency distribution of the fluorescence *** used a differential excitation protocol to extract the high spatial frequency *** modulating the excitation laser’s power,the spatial resolution of imaging was improved approximately 1.6 times in comparison with the confocal *** to the simplicity of the experimental setup and data processing,we expect this method can be used for improving the spatial resolution of sensing and biological labeling with the defects in solids.
