Ni-base metal–intermetallic laminate composites were obtained from in situ reaction synthesis between Ni and Al foils by utilizing plasma activated sintering. The effects of Ni foil thickness on the microstructure and tensile properties of the composites were investigated. The results show that the phases forming during reaction synthesis are independent of the starting thickness of the Ni foils. However, thicker reacted layers are obtained in the samples fabricated from 100 lm Ni foils（Ni100） than those obtained in the samples from 50 lm Ni foils（Ni50）when treated at the same process. The tensile strength of Ni100 samples increases with the temperature increasing at the expense of ductility. Dissimilarly, Ni50 composites treated at higher temperatures exhibit enhanced strength and ductility. Both Ni50 and Ni100 laminate fracture in a similar mechanism. Cracking first occurs in the brittle intermetallic layers. These original cracks result in shear bands in Ni layers emitted from the crack tips, and thus producing local stress concentration, which initiates new cracks in adjacent intermetallic layers. The multiplication of cracks and shear bands leads to the failure of the laminates.

The metadynamic recrystallization （MDRX） behavior of as-cast 904L superaustenitic stainless steel was in- vestigated by double pass isothermal compression tests at temperatures of 950-1 150 ℃, strain rates of 0.05-5 s 1 and interval of 1-100 s. The effects of working parameters （deformation temperature, strain rate, pre-strain and in- terval time） on the flow curves and microstructural evolution were discussed. The MDRX fraction increased obvious- ly with the increase of deformation temperature, strain rate and interval time. The MDRX softening was controlled by the migration of grain boundary, annihilation of dislocation and dynamic recrystallization. Moreover, the kinetic model was established for the prediction of MDRX behavior of as-cast 904L superaustenitic stainless steel based on the experimental data. A good agreement between the predicted and the experimental values was achieved （correla- tion coefficient R2= 0.98）, indicating a satisfactory accuracy.

An FeMo-alloy-doped β-SiA1ON （FeMo/β-SiA1ON） composite was fabricated via a reaction-bonding method using raw materials of Si, Al2O3, A1N, FeMo, and Sm2O3. The effects of FeMo on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the composite were investi- gated. Some properties of the composite, including its bending strength at 700℃ and after oxidization at 700℃ for 24 h in air, thermal shock resistance and corrosion resistance to molten aluminum, were also evaluated. The results show that the density, toughness, bending strength, and thermal shock resistance of the composite are obviously improved with the addition of an FeMo alloy. In addition, other properties of the composite such as its high-temperature strength and oxidized strength are also improved by the addition of FeMo alloy, and its corrosion re- sistance to molten aluminum is maintained. These findings indicate that the developed FeMo/β-SiA1ON composite exhibits strong potential for application to molten aluminum environments.

Ni-P(-SiC)composite coatings were successfully deposited on 70 vol%SiC_(p)/Al composite by electroless *** surface microstructures and the phase structures of the Ni-P(-SiC)coatings were examined and analyzed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and X-ray diffraction(XRD)before and after heat-treatment at200-400℃for 2 *** thermal diffusivity of the deposited samples and the interface adhesion between the coating and the substrate were *** experimental results show that SiC content in the coatings increases obviously and XRD peaks are enhanced with SiC content in the bath increasing from 3 to 9 g·L^(-1).After heat-treatment,the surface of the coating becomes smoother and no diffusion layer is produced at the interface.A new phase Ni3P forms in the coating during heat-treatment at 400℃.The critical load(L_(c))of Ni-P-SiC composite coating on SiC_(p)/Al composite reaches the maximum value of 84.9 N with SiC content of 3 g·L^(-1)after heat-treatment at 200℃and more or less decreases with the increase in SiC content and heat-treatment *** thermal diffusivity of deposited samples gradually increases as the temperature increases;however,it reduces firstly and then climbs with the increase in SiC content.

A large-scale fine-grained Mg-Gd-Y-Zn-Zr alloy plate with high strength and ductility was successfully prepared by multi-pass friction stir processing(MFSP)technology in this *** structure of grains and long period stacking ordered(LPSO)phase were characterized,and the mechanical properties uniformity was ***,a quantitative relationship between the microstructure and tensile yield strength was *** results showed that the grains in the processed zone(PZ)and interfacial zone(IZ)were refined from 50μm to 3μm and 4μm,respectively,and numerous original LPSO phases were *** IZ,some block-shaped 18R LPSO phases were transformed into needle-like 14H LPSO phases due to stacking faults and the short-range diffusion of solute *** severe shear deformation in the form of kinetic energy caused profuse stacking fault to be generated and move rapidly,greatly increasing the transformation rate of LPSO *** MFSP,the ultimate tensile strength,yield strength and elongation to failure of the large-scale plate were 367 MPa,305 MPa and 18.0% *** refinement and LPSO phase strengthening were the major strengthening mechanisms for the MFSP *** particularly,the strength of IZ was comparable to that of PZ because the strength contribution of the 14H LPSO phase offsets the lack of grain refinement strengthening in *** result opposes the widely accepted notion that IZ is a weak region in MFSP-prepared large-scale fine-grained plate.

Permanganate/sulfite(Mn(VII)/S(IV))process is a promising pre-oxidation technology for sequestering the emerging organic contaminants in drinking water treatment ***(IPM),a representative of iodinated X-ray contrast media,has been widely detected in water sources and has the risk of forming iodinated disinfection byproducts(I-DBPs)in water treatment *** this study,we investigated the evolution of iodine species during the IPM degradation by the Mn(VII)/S(IV)process and its effect on the subsequent formation of I-DBPs during chlorination at pH 7.0 and *** could be effectively degraded in the Mn(VII)/S(IV)process at environmentally relevant pH(pH 7.0 and 8.0).The results of quenching and competitive oxidation kinetic experiments revealed that SO^(·-)_(4)was the major reactive oxidizing species contributing to the degradation of IPM whereas the contributions of HO·and reactive manganese species were negligible in the Mn(VII)/S(IV)process.I–and IO–3were generated while no HOI was detected during the degradation of IPM in the Mn(VII)/S(IV)*** effects of IPM oxidation by Mn(VII)/S(IV)on the subsequent formation of chlorinated disinfection by-products(Cl-DBPs)during chlorination were related to the category of *** pre-oxidation of IPM by Mn(VII)/S(IV)resulted in the generation of I-DBPs during the disinfection process although no I-DBPs were detected if no pre-oxidation was *** finding of this study suggested that attention should be paid to the toxicity of DBPs when water containing iodinated organic contaminants is treated by Mn(VII)/S(IV)process or other pre-oxidation technologies.

BACKGROUND Total knee arthroplasty(TKA)is recognized as the most effective surgical intervention for relieving pain and improving joint mobility and deformity in patients with knee osteoarthritis and other synovial *** application of accelerated postoperative rehabilitation(enhanced recovery after surgery)has demonstrated its efficacy in improving patient outcomes,and early postoperative joint function exercise has become a key prognostic factor in knee *** unexpected appearance of limb pain and swelling hindered the patient’s tendency for early mobilization,leading in prolonged hospitalization,delayed functional recovery and negative psychological responses.A retrospective analysis was conducted on a cohort of 116 patients who under-went TKA at our hospital between July 2019 and July *** patients were divided into two groups:A control group(n=58)receiving programmatic nur-sing,and an observed group(n=58)receiving programmed nursing combined with a collaborative nursing model.A pain management team consisting of attending physicians,head nurses,and responsible nurses was *** measures included visual analogue scale(VAS)scores,activities of daily living(ADL)scale scores,and functional *** ADL scores of patients in both groups exhibited a continuous ***,there was no statistically significant difference in the ADL scores between the two groups at 48 h and the 7th d post-surgery(P>0.05).Upon reexamination at the 3rd mo,the observation group demonstrated higher ADL scores compared to the control group(67.48±14.69 vs 59.40±16.06,P0.05).The functional status of patients in both groups exhibited a gradual increase prior to intervention and at the 1st,2nd,and 3rd month following discharge(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in knee joint function scores b
