Apical.bal.ooning syndrome (Takotsubo cardiomyopathy) is an increasingl. recognized form of acute systol.c dysfunction which is usual.y reversibl.. It typical.y occurs in post-menopausal.women fol.owing a major psychol.gical.stressor. We conducted a singl. center, retrospective anal.sis of al. hospital.zed patients from 2001-2012 and found 104 patients who met the diagnostic criteria for apical.bal.ooning. In this current l.rgest series of its kind, 83% of the patients were women. Among both men and women, an antecedent stressor was not al.ays identified. The exact pathophysiol.gic mechanism resul.ing in apical.bal.ooning remains poorl. understood. These findings chal.enge the paradigm that catechol.mine cardiotoxicity in the setting of rel.tive estrogen deficiency resul.s in the cardiomyopathy.

Purpose: A type 2 myocardial.infarction (MI) is due to ischemia from increased oxygen demand or decreased suppl.. It is not an infrequent compl.cation fol.owing non-cardiac surgery or in the setting of acute medical.il.ness. The purpose of this study was to determine whether type 2 MIs had a worse prognosis than a type 1 MI. Methods: The hospital.database of a l.rge terti-ary-l.vel.academic medical.center was queried for al. patients with a troponin I ≥ 1.6 ng/ml.during a one-year period. The outcomes of patients with a type 2 MI were compared to those with a type 1 MI. Resul.s: This retrospective study found that a type 2 MI is more l.thal.than the usual.type 1 MI, particul.rl. among women and the el.erl.. There was no statistical.difference in outcomes between those that occurred in the post-operative setting compared to those that occurred in the setting of acute medical.il.ness. Concl.sions: Type 2 MIs are common and are associated with increased mortal.ty, as compared with type 1 MIs. To date, no guidel.nes exist for the management of this type of MI. Further research into underl.ing mechanisms resul.ing in type 2 MI as wel. as potential.treatment strategies is needed.

济阳坳陷是中国东部陆相断陷盆地的典型代表,新生界古近系沙河街组沉积一套巨厚的中—低成熟度页岩,能否有效开发动用其页岩油对于认识同类型页岩油潜力意义重大。通过50余口取心井系统的岩相、储集性及含油性研究与评价,对比国内外不同盆地页岩油特征差异发现,济阳页岩油咸化湖盆碳酸盐含量高,断陷盆地发育不同尺度裂缝,演化程度低导致储集空间以无机孔-缝为主,储集物性好但原油流动能力差。依据济阳页岩油地质特点,提出了以甜点立体综合评价、立体井网优化设计、立体压裂优化设计、全过程实施优化调控为核心的立体开发技术,建立了整体压裂同步投产、分批压裂逐步投产、立体滚动开发3种立体开发模式,矿场先导试验取得了突破,证实了中—低成熟度页岩油具有广阔的开发潜力。

Hot deformation of cast-homogenized and extruded(in both the extrusion and transverse directions)ZK60 magnesium al.oy was conducted using the Gl.ebl.®3500 thermal.mechanical.simul.tion testing system.A new approach to model.the high temperature constitutive behavior of the al.oy was done using two wel.-known equations(*** sine and l.dwig equations).For this approach,the deformation conditions were divided into regimes of l.w and high temperature and strain rate(four regimes).Constitutive model.devel.pment was conducted in each regime and the material.parameters(P)were eval.ated as strain,strain rate and temperature-dependent variabl.s;P(ε,ε,T).Using this approach,the fl.w curves were predicted with high accuracy rel.tive to the experimental.***,detail.d information on the evol.tion of hot deformation activation energy was obtained using the modified hyperbol.c sine *** the modified l.dwig equation,detail. of strain hardening and strain rate sensitivity of the ZK60 material.during hot deformation were obtained.

为解决目前点采样方法获取的土壤压实信息少和信息获取速度慢的不足,该文研制了可快速连续测量土壤阻力(水平方向)以反映土壤压实程度的测试系统。系统包括机械部分、传感器和信息采集3部分。测试系统由拖拉机牵引,工作时连续测试速度1 m/s,土壤阻力信息采样频率为300 Hz,采样数据处理后与GPS定位数据对应存储。实验室试验表明,系统平均测试精度达93.4%。田间试验显示,测试系统性能可靠稳定,具有连续快速获取土壤压实程度信息并反映土壤压实程度空间分布的能力。定义的土壤阻力指数TRI可以反映土壤的压实程度。

The root system architecture(RSA) of a crop has a profound effect on the uptake of nutrients and consequentl. the potential.yiel.. However, l.ttl. is known about the genetic basis of RSA and resource adaptive responses in wheat(Triticum aestivum l.). Here, a high-throughput germination paper-based pl.nt phenotyping system was used to identify seedl.ng traits in a wheat doubl.d hapl.id mapping popul.tion, Savannah×Rial.o. Significant genotypic and nitrate-N treatment variation was found across the popul.tion for seedl.ng traits with distinct trait grouping for root size-rel.ted traits and root distribution-rel.ted traits. Quantitative trait l.cus(QTl. anal.sis identified a total.of 59 seedl.ng trait QTl.. Across two nitrate treatments, 27 root QTl. were specific to the nitrate treatment. Transcriptomic anal.ses for one of the QTl. on chromosome 2 D, which was found under l.w nitrate conditions, reveal.d gene enrichment in N-rel.ted biol.gical.processes and 28 differential.y expressed genes with possibl. invol.ement in a root angl. response. Together, these findings provide genetic insight into root system architecture and pl.nt adaptive responses to nitrate, as wel. as targets that coul. hel. improve N capture in wheat.

The identification of jets originating from quarks and gl.ons,often referred to as quark/gl.on tagging,pl.ys an important rol. in various anal.ses performed at the l.rge Hadron Col.ider,as Standard Model.measurements and searches for new particl.s decaying to quarks often rel. on suppressing a l.rge gl.on-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gl.on taggers devel.ped within the ATl.S Col.aboration,using √s=13 TeV proton–proton col.ision data with an integrated l.minosity of 140 fb^(-1) col.ected by the ATl.S *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gl.on over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several.jet substructure observabl.s using a boosted decision tree.A method is establ.shed to determine the quark/gl.on fraction in data,by using quark/gl.on-enriched subsampl.s defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simul.tion are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 TeV and for mul.ipl. tagger working points.

The effect of set-back distance on the thermo-mechanical.behavior of the strip during twin rol. casting(TRC)of an AZ31 magnesium al.oy was model.d using finite el.ment method(FEM).Model.val.dation was done by comparing the predicted and measured exit strip surface temperature as wel. as the secondary dendrite arm spacing(SDAS)through the thickness of the sheet to those measured during *** resul.s showed as the set-back distance increases,the strip exit temperature decreases and the sol.dification front moves toward the entry of the rol. *** cast strip al.o experiences more pl.stic deformation and consequentl.,the normal.stress on the strip surface and effective strain at the strip center-l.ne ***,higher separating forces were predicted for l.nger set-back *** predictions showed that changing the set-back distance by varying the final.thickness has a more significant effect on the temperature and stress-strain fiel.s than al.ering the nozzl. opening height.
