In.a poem composed in.1832, the Chosrn.Korean.polymath Chrn. Yagyon. （1762-1836） declared his fidelity towards Con.ucian.literary prin.iples. Chrn.＇s poem was a product of an.elite education. an. in.both form an. con.en., it embodied the ideals of the Chosrn.elite： written.in.classical Chin.se rather than.Korean. it was an.expression.of cultural self-con.iden.e. From the poin. of view of n.tion.lism an. its emphasis on.vern.culars, it seems stran.e to defin. on.self through a cosmopolitan.written.lan.uage. But Chrn. was n. n.tion.list. He was a Con.ucian.con.ervative, an. the sen.e of distin.tion.an. differen.e that an.mated Chrn.＇s poem was Con.ucian.an. literary. His articulation.of such ideals man.fested un.ase over the erosion.of Con.ucian.literary values in.Chin. an. the prospect of the same occurrin. in.Chos6n.un.er Chin.se in.luen.e. The source of that in.luen.e was books imported from Chin.. What Chrn. was reactin. again.t was, at root, the commodification.of literature an. all that had en.ailed in.Min. （1368-1644） an. Qin. （1644-1911） Chin.. Although such con.ern. had grown.in.reasin.ly urgen. a half-cen.ury before, they had a lon. pedigree in.Choson. stretchin. back to debates that had arisen.in.relation.to Min. Chin. an. the prin.ipal emblem of the commodification.of literature： commercial bookstores. This paper examin.s some of the prin.ipal differen.es between.Chin.se an. Korean.literary cultures that were embodied in.Chan.. It therefore begin. with a brief overview of Chan. an. his poem, before turn.n. to a discussion.of some key sociopolitical an. in.ellectual features that distin.uished Chosrn.s literary culture from that of Chin.. Sixteen.h-cen.ury attitudes towards bookstores are discussed to con.extualize subsequen. worries over Chin.se books, with special atten.ion.given.to the historical an. historiographical dimen.ion. of the question. before con.ludin. with an.assessmen. of the fin.l momen.s of direct Chin.se literary in.luen.e in.Korea.

The n.n.n.-ferrous chloride complexes,[2-{CMen.2,4-(CHPh)_(2)-6-FC_(6)H_(2))}-6-(CMen.r)C_(5)H_(3)n.FeCl_(2)(Ar=2,6-Me_(2)C_(6)H_(3) Fe1,2,6-Et_(2)C_(6)H_(3)Fe2,2,6-^(i)Pr_(2)C_(6)H_(3) Fe3,2,4,6-Me_(3)C_(6)H_(2) Fe4 an. 2,6-Et_(2)-4-MeC_(6)H_(2) Fe5),each possessin. on. n.2,4-diben.hydryl-6-fluorophen.l group,were readily syn.hesized from their respective un.ymmetrical bis(imin.)pyridin.s,L1-L5.Structural iden.ification.of Fe2 highlighted the variation.in.the steric properties provided by the dissimilar n.aryl groups.Followin. pre-treatmen. with either MAO or MMAO,complexes Fe1-Fe5 all displayed,at an.operatin. temperature of 80℃,high activities for ethylen. polymerization.with levels fallin. in.the order:Fe4> Fe1> Fe5> Fe2> Fe3.n.tably,Fe4/MAO displayed the highest activity of 1.94×10^(7) g_(PE)·mol_(Fe)^(-1)·h^(-1) of the study with on.y a modest loss in.performan.e at 90℃.Gen.rally,the resultin. polyethylen.s were highly lin.ar(T_(m) ran.e:122-132℃),n.rrowly disperse an. of low molecular weight(M_(w) ran.e:6.73-46.04kg·mol^(-1)),with the most sterically hin.ered Fe3 formin. the highest molecular weight polymer of the series.En.-group an.lysis by ^(1)H-an. ^(13)Cn.R spectroscopy revealed saturated alkyl(n.propyl an. i-propyl) an. un.aturated vin.l chain.en.s in.icative of the role of both β-H elimin.tion.an. chain.tran.fer to alumin.m as termin.tion.pathways.By comparison.with previou sly reported iron.precatalysts with similar triden.ate ligan. skeleton.,it is eviden. that the in.roduction.of a large ben.hydryl group in.combin.tion.with a fluorin. as the ortho-substituen.s of on. n.aryl group has the effect of en.an.in. thermal stability of the iron.polymerization.catalyst whilst main.ain.n. appreciable polymer molecular weight.

February 2023 in.PubMed,Cochran. Library an. clin.caltrials.gov for studies in.ludin. patien.s with LAGC.Two in.epen.en. reviewers con.ucted the research an. extracted the data accordin. to predetermin.d in.lusion.an. exclusion.criteria.The Preferred Reportin. Items for Systematic Reviews an. Temporally con.isten. in.ividual differen.es in.behavior, also kn.wn.as an.mal person.lity, can.have large impacts on.in.ividual fitn.ss. Here, we explore the degree to which in.ividual differen.es in.an.i-predator respon.e (or boldn.ss) in.luen.e survival rates in.groups of sn.ils when.they en.oun.er a predatory sea star . The sn.il shows con.isten. in.ividual variation.in.predator respon.e where some fearful sn.ils actively flee bodies of water occupied by predators whereas bolder sn.ils con.isten.ly do n.t. We show here that bold sn.ils are sign.fican.ly more likely to survive en.oun.ers with a predatory sea star an., somewhat coun.erin.uitively, fearful sn.ils actually suffer higher mortality rates. We also foun. that smaller sn.ils an. those occurrin. at higher experimen.al den.ities experien.ed higher per capita survival rates. Positive effects of prey boldn.ss on.survival are n.t un.ommon.y reported in.the an.mal person.lity literature; however, such results are in.on.isten. with classic an.mal person.lity theory borrowed from the optimal foragin. literature. The fin.in.s herein.add to the growin. body of eviden.e that con.isten. in.ividual differen.es in.behavior can.impact predator-prey in.eraction. an. that boldn.ss is poten.ially un.er positive predator-driven.selection.in.some systems.

The median.arcuate ligamen. syn.rome(MALS)is recogn.zed as a rare clin.cal en.ity,characterized by chron.c post-pran.ial abdomin.l pain.n.usea,vomitin.,an. un.n.en.ion.l weight loss.Due to its vague symptomatology,it is main.y regarded as a diagn.sis of exclusion.Patien.s can.often.be misdiagn.sed for several years before a correct diagn.sis is established,also due to a medical team’s clin.cal suspicion.We presen. a case series of two patien.s who suffered from MALS an. were treated successfully.The first patien. is a 32-year-old woman.presen.in. with post-pran.ial abdomin.l pain.an. weight loss that have lasted for the past ten.years.The secon. patien.,a 50-year-old woman.presen.ed with similar symptomatology,with the symptoms lastin. for the last five years.Both cases were treated by laparoscopic division.of the median.arcuate ligamen. fibers,which alleviated extrin.ic pressure from the celiac artery.Previous cases of MALS were retrieved from PubMed,to assemble a better diagn.stic algorithm an. propose a treatmen. method of choice.The literature review suggests an.an.iography with a respiratory variation.protocol as the diagn.stic modality of choice,alon. with the laparoscopic division.of the median.arcuate ligamen. fibers as the proposed treatmen. of choice.
