Pt/Au Schottky contacts were fabricated on modulation-doped Al0.22GaN0.78/GaN heterostructures. Some different pre-deposition surface treatments were used to prevent the formation of the native oxide layer on the Al0.22GaN0.78 surface. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy measurements indicate that the pre-deposition surface treatment with boiling (NH4)2S solution can remove the native oxide layer on the Al0.22Ga0.78N surface effectively. the highest Schottky barrier height of 1.13eV was obtained on the (NH4)2S-treated Al0.22GaN0.78/GaN heterostructure.

Objective:Remnant gastric cancer(RGC)is usually associated with a worse *** they are less common and very heterogeneous tumors,new prognostic and reliable determinants are required to predict patients’clinical course for *** study aimed to investigate the tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes(tILs)and programmed cell death ligand 1(PD-L1)status as prognostic biomarkers in a cohort of patients with RGC to develop an immunerelated ***:Patients with gastric cancer(GC)who underwent curative intent gastrectomy were retrospectively *** resections with histological diagnosis of gastric adenocarcinoma were enrolled in the *** risk score based on immune parameters was developed using binary logistic regression *** were divided into high-risk(HR),intermediate-risk(IR),and low-risk(LR)groups based on their immune *** markers(CD3+,CD4+/CD8+t cells and PD-L1)were selected for their potential prognostic,therapeutic value,and evaluated by immunohistochemistry(IHC).Results:A total of 42 patients with RGC were enrolled in the *** score based on immune parameters exhibited an accuracy of 79%[the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)=0.79,95%confidence interval(95%CI),0.63-0.94,P=0.002],and the population was divided into 3 prognostic groups:10(23.8%)patients were classified as LR,15(35.7%)as IR,and 17(40.5%)as HR *** were no differences in clinicopathological and surgical characteristics between the three *** survival analysis,HR and IR groups had worse disease-free survival and overall survival rates compared to the LR *** the multivariate analysis,lymph node metastasis and the immune score risk groups were independent factors related to worse ***:A scoring system with immune-related markers was able to distinguish prognostic groups of RGC associated with ***,tumor-infiltrating immune lymphocytes and PD-L1 status may serve as a potential prognostic bi

this paper uses a finite dominating set （FDS） to investigate the multi-facility ordered median problem （OMP） in a strongly connected directed network. the authors first prove that the multi-facility OMP has an FDS in the node set, which not only generalizes the FDS result provided by Kalcsics, et al. （2002）, but also extends the FDS result from the single-facility Case to the multiple case, filling an important gap. then, based on this FDS result, the authors develop an exact algorithm to solve the problem. However, if the number of facilities is large, it is not practical to find the optimal solution, because the multi-facility OMP in directed networks is NP-hard. Hence, we present a constant-approximation algorithm for the p-median problem in directed networks. Finally, we pose an open problem for future research.

A highly celebrated problem in dyadic harmonic analysis is the pointwise convergence of the Fejér （or （C, 1）） means of functions on unbounded Vilenkin groups. there are several papers of the author of this paper concerning this. that is, we know the a.e. convergence σnf → f （n → ∞） for functions f ∈ L^p, where p 〉 1 （Journal of Approximation theory, 101（1）, 1-36, （1999）） and also the a.e. convergence σMnf → f （n → ∞） for functions f ∈ L^1 （Journal of Approximation theory, 124（1）, 25-43, （2003））. the aim of this paper is to prove the a.e. relation limn→∞ σnf = f for each integrable function f on any rarely unbounded Vilenkin group. the concept of the rarely unbounded Vilenkin group is discussed in the paper. Basically, it means that the generating sequence m may be an unbounded one, but its ＂big elements＂ are not ＂too dense＂.

Let V be a hypersurface with an isolated singularity at the origin in Cn+1. It is a natural question to ask when V is defined by weighted homogeneous polynomial or homogeneous polynomial up to biholomorphic change of coordinates. In 1971, a beautiful theorem of Saito gives a necessary and sufficient condition for V to be defined by a weighted homogeneous polynomial. For a two-dimensional isolated hypersurface singularity V, Xu and Yau found a coordinate free characterization for V to be defined by a homogeneous polynomial. Recently Lin and Yau gave necessary and sufficient conditions for a 3-dimensional isolated hypersurface singularity with geometric genus bigger than zero to be defined by a homogeneous polynomial. the purpose of this paper is to prove that Lin-Yau's theorem remains true for singularities with geometric genus equal to zero.

Fixed-point continuation （FPC） is an approach, based on operator-splitting and continuation, for solving minimization problems with l1-regularization：min ｜｜x｜｜1＋uf（x）.We investigate the application of this algorithm to compressed sensing signal recovery, in which f（x） = 1/2｜｜Ax-b｜｜2M,A∈m×n and m≤n. In particular, we extend the original algorithm to obtain better practical results, derive appropriate choices for M and u under a given measurement model, and present numerical results for a variety of compressed sensing problems. the numerical results show that the performance of our algorithm compares favorably with that of several recently proposed algorithms.
