BACKGROUND Inflammatory pseudotumor-like follicular dendritic cell(IPT-like FDC)tumors of the liver is an uncommon tumor with extremely low *** date,the radiologic findings of this tumor in multiphase computed tomography(CT)and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)imaging have not been *** SUMMARY Patient 1 is a 31-year-old Chinese female,whose complaining incidentally coincided with the finding of multiple liver *** the local hospital,an abdominal enhanced CT found two hypo-dense solid lesions,with heterogeneous sustained hypoenhancement,in the upper segment of the liver’s right posterior *** our hospital,enhanced magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)with hepatocyte-specific contrast agents showed a similar enhanced pattern of lesions with patchy hyperintensity in the hepatobiliary phase(HBP).The patient underwent surgery and recovered *** final pathology confirmed an IPTlike FDC *** recurrence was found on the regular *** 2 is a 48-year-old Chinese male admitted to our hospital for a huge unexpected hepatic lesion.A dynamic enhanced abdominal CT revealed a huge heterogeneous enhanced solid tumor in the right lobe of the liver with a size of 100 mm×80 mm,which showed a heterogeneous sustained *** addition,enlarged lymph nodes were found in the hilum of the *** patient underwent a hepatic lobectomy and lymph node *** final pathology confirmed an IPT-like FDC *** recurrence was found upon regular *** When a hepatic tumor shows heterogeneous sustained hypoenhancement with a patchy enhancement during HBP,an IPT-like FDC tumor should be considered in the differential diagnosis.

Portfolio Optimization with Uncertain Exit Time in Infinite-Time Horizon

In this paper, we study infinite-period mean-variance formulations for portfolio selections with an uncertain exit time. We employ the convergence control method together with the dynamic programming algorithm to derive analytical expressions for the optimal portfolio policy and the mean-variance efficient frontier under certain conditions. We illustrate these results by an numerical example.

The effect of momentum-dependent interaction on the kinetic energy spectrum of the neutron-proton ratio （（n/p）gas）b（ Ek ） for 64Zn ＋64Zn is studied. It is found that （（n/p）gas）b（ Ek ） sensitively depends on the momentumdependent interaction and weakly on the in-medium nucleon-nucleon cross section and symmetry potential. Therefore （（n/p）gas）b（ Ek ） is a possible probe for extracting information on the momentum-dependent interaction in heavy ion collisions.

Preparation and Electrochemical Performance of Nano-Co_3O_4 Anode Materials from Spent Li-Ion Batteries for Lithium-Ion Batteries

A hydrometallurgical process for the recovery of cobalt oxalate from spent lithium-ion batteries was used to recycle cobalt compound by using alkali leaching, reductive acid leaching and chemical deposition of cobalt oxalate. The recycled cobalt oxalate was used to synthesize nano-Co3O4 anode material by sol-gel method. The samples were characterized by thermal gravity analysis and differential thermal analysis （TGA/DTA）, X-ray diffraction （XRD）, scanning electron microscopy （SEM） and charge/discharge measurements. The influence of molar ratio of Co2＋ to citric acid and calcination temperature on the structure and electrochemical performance of nano-Co3O4 was evaluated. As the molar ratio of Co2＋ to citric acid is 1：1, the face-centered cubic （fcc） Co3O4 powder shows the discharge capacity of 760.9 mA h g-1, the high coulombic efficiency of 99.7% in the first cycle at the current density of 125 mA g-l, and the excellent cycling performance with the reversible capacity of 442.3 mA h g-1 after 20 cycles at the current density of 250 mA g-1.

A spherical cavity expansion model for penetration of ogival-nosed projectiles into concrete targets with shear-dilatancy

A dynamic spherical cavity-expansion penetration model is suggested herein to predict the penetration and perforation of concrete targets struck normally by ogivalnosed *** dilatancy as well as compressibility of the material in comminuted region are considered in the paper by introducing a dilatant-kinematic relation.A procedure is first presented to compute the radial stress at the cavity surface and then a numerical method is used to calculate the results of penetration and perforation with friction being taken into *** influences of various target parameters such as shear strength,bulk modulus,density,Poisson＇s ratio and tensile strength on the depth of penetration are *** is shown that the model predictions are in good agreement with available experimental *** is also shown that the shear strength plays a dominant role in the target resistance to penetration.

Bayesian inference of the crust–core transition density via the neutron-star radius and neutron-skin thickness data

Effect of copper precursors on CO oxidation catalyzed by CuO-CeO_(2) prepared by solvothermal method

In this paper,the CuO-CeO_(2) catalyst was prepared by a direct solvothermal *** effects of different copper salt precursors(copper nitrate,copper acetate,copper sulfate) on the catalytic performa nce of the prepared catalyst fo r CO oxidation were *** physical and chemical properties of the prepared catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),Raman spectroscopy,N_(2)physical adsorption,inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry(ICP-AES),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),temperature-programmed desorption analysis of CO(CO-TPD),in-situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTs),and temperature-programmed reduction with H_(2)(H_(2)-TPR).The results show that the CuO-CeO_(2)catalyst prepared with copper acetate as precursor(CC-A) exhibits the best catalytic activity for CO oxidation at low temperatures,with T50and T90values of 62 and 78℃ respectively,which is mainly attributed to its large specific surface area,pore volume,CO adsorption capacity,and large amount and strong reactivity of surface ***,the CuO-CeO_(2) catalyst prepared with copper nitrate as precursor(CC-N) displays better stability and resistance to water or CO_(2) poisoning than CC-A.

Track dynamic behavior at rail welds at high speed

As a vehicle passing through a track with different weld irregularities, the dynamic performance of track com- ponents is investigated in detail by using a coupled vehi- cle-track model. In the model, the vehicle is modeled as a multi-body system with 35 degrees of freedom, and a Timoshenko beam is used to model the rails which are dis- cretely supported by sleepers. In the track model, the sleepers are modeled as rigid bodies accounting for their vertical, lat- eral and rolling motions and assumed to move backward at a constant speed to simulate the vehicle running along the track at the same speed. In the study of the coupled vehicle and track dynamics, the Hertizian contact theory and the theory proposed by Shen-Hedrick-Elkins are, respectively, used to calculate normal and creep forces between the wheel and the rails. In the calculation of the normal forces, the coefficient of the normal contact stiffness is determined by transient contact condition of the wheel and rail surface. In the calcu- lation of the creepages, the lateral, roll-over motions of the rail and the fact that the relative velocity between the wheel and rail in their common normal direction is equal to zero are simultaneously taken into account. The motion equations of the vehicle and track are solved by means of an explicit integration method, in which the rail weld irregularities are modeled as local track vertical deviations described by some ideal cosine functions. The effects of the train speed, the axle load, the wavelength and depth of the irregularities, and the weld center position in a sleeper span on the wheel-rail impact loading are analyzed. The numerical results obtained are greatly useful in the tolerance design of welded rail pro- file irregularity caused by hand-grinding after rail welding and track maintenances.

A Novel Multiscale Reinforcement by In-Situ Growing Carbon Nanotubes on Graphene Oxide Grafted Carbon Fibers and Its Reinforced Carbon/Carbon Composites with Improved Tensile Properties

In-situ growing carbon nanotubes （CNTs） directly on carbon fibers （CFs） always lead to a degraded tensile strength of CFs and then a poor fiber-dominated mechanical property of carbon/carbon composites （C/ Cs）. To solve this issue, here, a novel carbon fiber-based multiscale reinforcement is reported. To synthesize it, carbon fibers （CFs） have been first grafted by graphene oxide （GO）, and then carbon nanotubes （CNTs） have been in-situ grown on GO-grafted CFs by catalytic chemical vapor deposition. Characterizations on this novel reinforcement show that GO grafting cannot only nondestructively improve the surface chemical activity of CFs but also protect CFs against the high-temperature corrosion of metal catalyst during CNT growth, which maintains their tensile properties. Tensile property tests for unidirectional C/Cs with different preforms show that this novel reinforcement can endow C/C with improved tensile properties, 32% and 87% higher than that of pure C/C and C/C only doped with in-situ grown CNTs. This work would open up a possibility to fabricate multiscale C/Cs with excellent global performance.
