怒江：一次偶然的发现2014年的8月18日，怒江河谷里正值炎炎夏日，云南省怒江州泸水县六库镇石缸河村的青年冯清礼骑着摩托回家时，刚好路过自家村前的一条山沟，看见一个来自广西的矿工抓着一只自己从来没有见过的大鸟。平时冯清礼也爱好饲养些小动物，又觉得这只大鸟颇为新奇，于是和这名工人协商，花了数百元把这只大鸟买了过来。因为村里有人被聘为泸水县林业局的护林员，并给村民做过自然保护的宣教工作，使得冯清礼对野生动物保护的事情有一些意识。

Recently,the metal ion cross-linked hydrogels have gained enormous interest because of its excellent properties like self-healing,fast recovery,biocompatibility and high mechanical properties combined with multi-stimuli *** this review article,we have summarized the recent trends in the development of metal ion cross-linked hydrogels for tissue engineering and biomedical applications.A number of metal ions and their contribution in the synthesis of various cross-linked hydrogels are discussed with respect to their crosslinking mechanisms,compositions,physio-chemical and biological properties.A special emphasis has been given to ferric(Fe^(3+))ion cross-linked hydrogels and their different combinations owing to their numerous researches reported in the recent past with exceptional *** application of these metal ion based hydrogels in biomedical applications including tissue engineering,sensing,wound healing,drug delivery and as tissue adhesive and tissue sealants are reviewed with specific ***,the application of these metal ion cross-linked hydrogels as inks in 3 D printing is explained in a separate ***,the possible toxic effects of the different metal ions and their effects have been *** directions and comprehensive applications of the hydrogels are highlighted.

Properties of cement grout modified with ultra-fine slag

The purpose of the study is to obtain a cement grout with improved performance. The grout mixes of the present study contain cement, ultra-fine slag （UFS）, super plasticizer and water. Properties like flowability, bleeding, compressive strength and shrinkage of cement grouts have been studied. Rheological parameters were also studied in order to explain the grout workability. The results show that, cement replacement with slag in grouts could reduce bleeding substantially without affecting the workability of the mixes. Introduction of slag enhanced the compressive strength and reduced shrinkage reasonably. Ultra-fine slag can be used as a supplementary cementitious material in cementitious grouts in order to improve the grout behavior.

Pennellid copepod Peniculus fistula fistula(Nordmann, 1832)(Synonym: Peniculus fistula Nordmann, 1832,Aphia ID: 745880), a worldwide distributed species, has been recovered from at least 19 teleost families. The present paper reports for the first time from the Malabar coast(South India), not only the existence of a new host family, Clupeidae, hosting this parasitic copepod species(P. fistula fistula) but also their season dependent hosting. A total of 123 marine fish species, belonging to 77 genera and 38 families surveyed along the Malabar coast, only the clupeid, Anadontostoma chacunda(Hamilton, 1822) was shown to be infected by this copepod species;all the recovered(copepod) parasites were invariably found attached at the mid portion of the caudal fin lobes and lying parallel to the host body, indicating the strict site-specific parasitisation. There is a discrete seasonality in the prevalence(P<0.05) as the sign of infection was noticed during the period from September to May with relatively high prevalence during winter months(November–January). During the monsoon months(June–August), the host fish was found completely free from Peniculus infection. Interestingly, all the 229 recovered specimens(P. fistula fistula) were gravid females having paired uniserrate egg sacs with the length more than its own body length.

We present the results of eyestalk extirpation experiments performed on the fiddler crab, Uca triangularis at seasons of molting and reproduction, with a view to have a better understanding of the regulatory mechanisms of these two highly energy-demanding processes. Bilateral eyestalk ablation resulted in precocious acceleration of both molting and reproduction, irrespective of the season at which each experiment was conducted. The rate of accelerated ovarian growth, however, was maximum if the eyestalk ablation was conducted during August-January, the breeding season in the wild, or in February- May （molting-reproductive season）, wherein a section of the wild population would be engaged in molting and another section in breeding. The highest degree of precocious molt acceleration, on the other hand, was obtained during June-July when the population was primarily engaged in molting, but with no reproductive activity. The precocious oocyte maturation （due to de-eyestalking） was minimal in June--July. Significantly, the eyestalk ablation also resulted in a dramatic increase in the hemolymph ecdysteroid titer, revealing that a high ecdysteroid titer would have no restraining influence on vitellogenesis. No spawning was, however, observed among de-eyestalked females, even though their final oocyte size surpassed the size of the normal mature oocytes, implying that spawning is not exclusively under the control of eyestalk hormones. A comparative study performed on the viteUine components of the experimentals and the controls revealed that the precociously incorporated yolk under eyestalk ablation was biochemically impoverished. These results indicate that throughout the annual cycle, both the somatic and the reproductive growth of U. triangularis are under the influence of inhibitory principles from the eyestalks. The homeobox （Hox） genes form an evolutionarily conserved family encoding transcription factors that play major roles in segmental identity and organ specification across species. The canonical grouping of Hox genes present in the HOM-C cluster of Drosophila or related clusters in other organisms includes eight “typical” genes, which are localized in the order labial （lab）, proboscipedia （pb ）, Deformed （ Dfd）, Sex combs reduced （Scr）, Antennapedia （Antp）, Ultrabithorux （Ubx）, abdominalA （abdA）, and AbdominalB （AbdB）. The members of Hox cluster are expressed in a distinct anterior to posterior order in the embryo. Analysis of the relatedness of different members of the Hox gene cluster to each other in four evolutionarily diverse insect taxa revealed that the loci pb/Dfd and AbdB, which are farthest apart in linkage, had a high degree of evolutionary relatedness, indicating that pb/Dfd type anterior genes and AbdB are closest to the ancestral anterior and posterior Hox genes, respectively. The greater relatedness of other posterior genes Ubx and abdA to the more anterior genes such as Antp and Scr suggested that they arose by gene duplications in the more anterior members rather than the posterior AbdB.

Understanding the relationship between macroeconomic variables and the stock market is important because macroeconomic variables have a systematic effect on stock market *** study uses monthly data from India for the period from April 1994 to July 2018 to examine the long-run relationship between the stock market and macroeconomic *** empirical findings suggest that standard cointegration tests fail to identify any relationship among these ***,a transformation that extracts the actual functional relationship between these variables using the alternating conditional expectations algorithm of(J Am Stat Assoc 80:580–598,1985)identifies strong evidence of cointegration and indicates nonlinearity in the long-run ***,the continuous partial wavelet coherency model identifies strong coherency at a lower frequency for the transformed variables,establishing the fact that the long-run relationship between stock prices and macroeconomic variables in India is nonlinear and *** evidence has far-reaching implications for understanding the dynamic relationships between the stock market and macroeconomic variables.

T-condylar fracture delayed for 10 days in a 5-year-old boy： a case report and review of the literature

T-condylar fracture is rare in paediatric age group, especially in skeletally immature children less than 9 years old. with very few cases reported in available literature. We present such a case in a 5 year old child that was initially managed as a supracondylar fracture at another centre before referral to us, 10 days after the injury. The child was diagnosed as having a displaced T-condylar fracture on plain radiograph. Open reduction and internal fixation with K-wires was performed. At 2 years follow-up, the child had good range of motion at elbow with 5°of cubitus varus. With this background we discuss the pertinent principles of management ofT-condylar fractures in skeletally immature children.
