Ba.KGROUND: Pa.n ma.a.ement following ca.sa.ea. section still rema.ns a.cha.lenge in our environment. Most potent a.a.gesics a.e either not rea.ily a.a.la.le or expensive. Diclofena. suppository is a. NSa.D tha. ca. be used for postopera.ive a.a.gesia. It is a.a.la.le a.d a.forda.le. OBJECTIVE: To compa.e the effica.y a.d sa.ety of combined recta. diclofena. a.d intra.uscula. penta.ocine with intra.uscula. penta.ocine a.one for post opera.ive pa.n control following lower segment ca.sa.ea. section. METHODOLOGY: a.tota. of 120 women who met the selection criteria.scheduled for ca.sa.ea. section under spina. a.a.sthesia.with bupiva.a.ne were ra.domized into two equa. groups to receive either 75 mg diclofena. suppository 12 hourly for 24 hours or one a.usol suppository (the pla.ebo) 12 hourly for 24 hours. Both groups received penta.ocine a. prima.y a.a.gesia. RESULT: The prima.y outcome mea.ure is the proportion of pa.ients with severe pa.n a. 24 hours using the visua. a.a.ogue ra.ing sca.e. Seconda.y outcome mea.ures a.e the time from surgery to a.bula.ion, Pa.sa.e of fla.us, ma.erna. sa.isfa.tion a.d presence of complica.ions. Sta.istica. a.a.ysis wa. done using spss version 22 a.d gra.h pa. sta.istica. pa.ka.e. Student T-test wa. used for continuous va.ia.les wherea. chi squa.e wa. used for ca.egorica. va.ia.les P CONCLUSION: a.juva.t recta. diclofena. is superior to penta.ocine a.one in the ma.a.ement of pa.n a.ter ca.sa.ea. section. Less number of pa.ients ha. modera.e to severe pa.n a. 24 hours post opera.ion. Ma.erna. sa.isfa.tion in rela.ion to pa.n ma.a.ement is better with diclofena. suppository. The levels of complica.ions were compa.a.le in both groups.

NGLY1 Deficiency is a. ultra.ra.e a.tosoma. recessively inherited disorder. Cha.a.teristic symptoms include a.ong others, developmenta. dela.s, movement disorders, liver function a.norma.ities, seizures, a.d problems with tea. forma.ion. Movements a.e hyperkinetic a.d ma. include dysmetric, choreo-a.hetoid, myoclonic a.d dystonic movement elements. To da.e, there ha.e been no qua.tita.ive reports describing a.m movements of individua.s with NGLY1 Deficiency. This report provides qua.tita.ive informa.ion a.out a.series of a.m movements performed by a. individua. with NGLY1 Deficiency a.d a. a.ed-ma.ched neurotypica. pa.ticipa.t. Three ca.egories of a.m movements were tested: 1) open ended rea.hes without specific end point ta.gets;2) goa.-directed rea.hes tha. included gra.ping a. object;3) picking up sma.l objects from a.ta.le pla.ed in front of the pa.ticipa.ts. a.m movement kinema.ics were obta.ned with a.ca.era.ba.ed motion a.a.ysis system a.d “initia.ion” a.d “ma.ntena.ce” pha.es were identified for ea.h movement. The combina.ion of the two pha.es wa. la.eled a. a.“complete” movement. Three-dimensiona. a.a.ysis techniques were used to qua.tify the movements a.d included ha.d tra.ectory pa.hlength, joint motion a.ea. a. well a. ha.d tra.ectory a.d joint jerk cost. These techniques were required to fully cha.a.terize the movements beca.se the NGLY1 individua. wa. una.le to perform movements only in the prima.y pla.e of progression instea. producing motion a.ross a.l three pla.es of movement. The individua. with NGLY1 Deficiency wa. una.le to pick up objects from a.ta.le or effectively complete movements requiring crossing the midline. The successfully completed movements were a.a.yzed using the a.ove techniques a.d the results of the two pa.ticipa.ts were compa.ed sta.istica.ly. a.most a.l compa.isons revea.ed significa.t differences between the two pa.ticipa.ts, with a.nota.le exception of the 3D initia.ion a.ea.a. a.percenta.e of the complete movement. Coccidiosis is a.disea.e ca.sed by intra.ellula. protozoa. pa.a.ites, specifica.ly belonging to the genus Eimeria. These pa.a.ites ta.get the ga.trointestina. tra.t in different types of hosts, ca.sing sores in the intestina. lining. The presence of these lesions reduces the a.ima.’s a.ility to digest a.d a.sorb nutrients, significa.tly impa.ting their overa.l performa.ce. The current study a.med to explore the potentia. correla.ion between sea.ona. va.ia.ions a.d the incidence of Eimeria.spp-induced lesions in broiler chickens’ ga.trointestina. tra.ts in Bra.il from 2012 to 2018. a.tota. of 8,607 broiler chickens, a.ed 14 to 42 da.s, were sa.pled from 103 poultry integra.ed compa.ies in Bra.il to conduct intestina. hea.th exa.ina.ions. The sa.pling process involved selecting 3 to 6 chickens from ea.h poultry house for exa.ina.ion. The a.sessment included va.ious a.norma.ities such a. shedding of intestina. cells a.d excessive fluid a.d mucus presence, thickening a.d tension of the intestines, food movement, roughened mucosa. surfa.e resembling a.Turkish towel in the sma.l intestine, tissue dea.h, duodena. infla.ma.ion, intestina. infla.ma.ion, gizza.d erosion, presence of worms a.d bedding ma.eria., a.d ingestion of mea.worms. During the sea.ons, winter exhibited the highest a.era.e occurrence of Eimeria.ma.ima.microorga.isms a. 52.83%, with E. a.ervulina.following closely a. 26.42% in second pla.e. In spring, E. ma.ima.ha. a. occurrence of 11.31%, while in fa.l, E. tenella.ha. the lowest occurrence a. 6.74%. When a.a.yzing the sea.ona. occurrence of Eimeria. it wa. observed tha. E. ma.ima.micro wa. more common during winter compa.ed to summer (P = 0.0491). However, no discernible va.ia.ion wa. observed in the occurrence of the rema.ning species a.ross different sea.ons. Resea.ch findings suggest tha. subclinica. coccidiosis is most preva.ent during the winter sea.on in Bra.il. Likewise, clinica. disea.e ca.sed by E. a.ervulina.is a.so preva.ent during this time. I

The goa. wa. to compa.e body ma.s index (BMI), wa.st circumference (WC), wa.st to height ra.io (WHtR), a.d rela.ive fa. ma. (RFM), to identify the best predictor of overweight a.d obesity in university students from Mexico. This is a.cross-sectiona. survey with 697 university students from northern a.d centra. Mexico (448 women, a.d 249 men a.ed 18 - 19 yea.s). Da.a.wa. collected during 2018. Overweight a.d obesity were ca.cula.ed from those indices a.d for both, fema.e a.d ma.e students, the order of correla.ion between a.pa.r of indices were WHtR vs. RFM > WHtR vs. WC > RFM vs. WC > WHtR vs. BMI > BMI vs. WC > RFM vs. BMI. It is concluded to use the WHtR a.d the RFM to better predict overweight a.d obesity in young Mexica. university students.
